Worst service I've had in many years. They replaced a screen on my phone but in less than a month the new screen started flickering and eventually died. I called this place and was told another screen was available. When I came, they said the screen they had was reserved for something else, blamed "a new guy" and told me to wait 3-5 days for the screen to arrive. A week later they told me the screen was in transit and to wait more. Another week later, they still don't have it and don't give any ETA. Their staff has been very condescending and rude. Eeeek. I didn't check the reviews for this spot before bringing my son's Nintendo Switch Lite in, so I'm glad I didn't has as bad of an experience as others in the past. :( My six year old dropped his Switch Lite from playing with it in an area he shouldn't have been. Parents, I know y'all feel me. We've all been there. He cracked the LCD screen on the inside and it was all sorts of glitched and nearly impossible to play, and of course, our warranty didn't cover a drop situation. uBreakiFix is really the only place in the area I knew of that did repairs like this so I gave them a call and they were incredibly helpful over the phone. I set up an appointment online, brought the device in for a consult, and they let me know they'd order the part and it would be ready in about 4-5 days. Perfect! The 4th day hit and I gave them a call and they said they anticipated the part being in that day and then it would be a couple of hours to fix. Great. The 5th day rolled around with no call so I called again, and they said the part just arrived but it would "be a little while because it was a delicate fix and they didn't want to rush it." Another day passed... and another day... And finally around 4pm on the following day they let me know it was ready. They would be closed the following day after that so we had to wait another couple of days to pick it up. They also let me know on the phone that some sort of screw "basically disintegrated" during repair and that is was a "common problem" but it left a little gap on the side of my son's Switch. It doesn't affect the way the device works, but I just think if that's so common of a problem, why don't they have replacement screws to make up for that issue? Overall, my son's Switch is working perfectly now with a beautiful screen so he is happy and thankfully, not asking me every single day if it is done yet. Additionally, all of the employees we encountered over the phone or in person were really pleasant to deal with - I just think the communication should be a little bit more thorough if there are days on days of delays. read more

Highly recommend. Took my laptop in to get expanded data card. They let me know right there and then if it could be done and after the replacement part arrived, they had it done the same day. This is a top 5 worst experience ROXANNE I'd recommend you don't work in customer service if you walk out with an attitude right away to a customer. One of the worst customer experiences I've had in years. Issue at hand was they quoted me $149 on the phone to fix my Xbox. I go in and they fix my Xbox after a few weeks.. I come to pay for it for it and they ask for $219 . The guy checking me out wasn't the issue the so said manager "angry lady " was the issue. Looks like they have the same experiences from other reviews with Roxanne and price quoting ... maybe upper management should give her the boot as she shouldn't manage any place that requires to talk to people professionally. They damage electronics, they don't stand buy there company policy, if they break they buy your electronics, we took two iPads for screen replacement, took them over two months, back and forth on the phone with them, and at the end they just want to refund money for their service, but ipads destroyed! read more

Brought my iPhone 15 Plus in for repair and the frame on my phone is bent in the upper left corner. Not sure how that came about, but I didn't notice it until went to take my phone out of the case later that day. Won't be bringing another device back to this location. This place was absolute rubbish. I went in with a fully intact iPhone. I just needed a battery replacement. While they replaced it, I went somewhere to bide my time. Hours and hours and hours went by. Still not fixed. Turns out they actually broke my phone internally while doing a simple battery replacement. It took them the course of over three weeks to replace it with what was what they told me to be a new device. Then they couldn't even track down the device once it actually got delivered. When they finally found it, what they gave me was used/refurbished, not the model I asked for (my original) and had a scratched screen. On top of all of this, they never contacted me, I had to keep calling them to find out what was even happening. "You Break I fix?" More like "We Break, then Drop the Ball Even Further Than You Could Ever Imagine." read more

I went into the Puyallup store and was greeted by Mike, who is excellent. I had an Issue with my iPad Mini. The screen was locked, and I thought would not charge as it made the connection sound, but there was no screen activity. I thought it would not charge because I tried everything to start it. Mike told me that the machine was working but may have a screen issue. He pressed some keys in a reset process and the machine started up. He could have been shady and kept it and charged me a fee but he his work for no charge and my kids will be back playing whatever game that is out there. I will definitely us the Puyallup office of UbreakIfix on Shaw Road for any of my cell phone, iPad or computer repairs. They do tune ups also and in my case this was all done in about 5 minutes. read more

my first time needing a cracked screen repaired on a phone so I didn't know what to expect... filed a claim through AT&T & went in 2 days later (5/16/2023). The first guy I experienced was really unpleasant. Made me feel like an inconvenience to him when I couldn't remember my AT&T passcode.. He told me "a couple hours" so I left, and got a call an hour later that it was ready & that guy was super nice, Curtis, I think? (taller guy) He had my IPhone 14 Pro Max back to perfect condition. Overall a positive experience, but one bad customer service representative can make or break it for me. read more

I drowned by computer by spilling water on it . Brought it to uBreakiFix at Shaw Road and they performed CPR and returned it back to life. They kept me informed on the cost and expected results. I hate taking the time to write a poor review, but this experience was not ok. I called their google phone number and was sent to their call center. The gal quoted me a $99 screen repair. So, I went in and said "I called earlier about the screen repair and they quoted me $99 so I'd like to drop my phone off." The gentleman said great, we have record of your call in our system we'll get that taken care of for you. I drop my phone off then leave. I come back when they told me the phone was ready and they said they had to pause the repair because "find my iphone was on" so I had to wait 30 minutes while in the shop. This is something that should have been taken care of prior to my leaving the shop. However, the man who checked me in was new. My issue isn't because of that, it's the way the manager, Roxanne, responded. She was 0% apologetic and couldn't care less about the time I wasted. The KICKER is when I went to pay, Roxanne told me it was going to be $298. I was floored and thought there must be an issue because I was quoted $99. She said that was for a different type of screen. I mentioned that I even mentioned the $99 quote when I walked into the shop and she said it didn't matter that they still gave me the $298 screen and unless I wanted to wait for them to replace the screen again, i had to pay 298. I said I couldnt wait (I had already been waiting over 30 minutes at this point for something that was supposed to be a quick pick up) and that they should honor the price I was quoted, and confirmed. She said she wouldn't do that, took my phone in the back, replaced it with my old (shattered screen) and said now it was in original condition and I can go somewhere else. I had to wait 15 minutes for her to replace it to my shattered screen. Beyond that, my phone was not in original condition. My home button didn't work because they had calibrated it to the old screen. So they said they can replace it with the $99 screen but it would be another hour wait. So, they said they'd call when it was ready. I left and waited for a call which I never received. Over 2 hours later I called them and they said it was ready. Then when I got there she said she was able to get the $298 screen approved at the $99 price. So, all this could have been avoided should she just owned up to their mistake, eaten the cost of the wrong screen they used, and sent me on my way. Highly do not recommend. read more

I would give less stars if possible. i have a new phone , say 2 months old. The inner screen protector is coming off. A noted problem for the Z Fold. Made an online appointment and went there on time. They don't ask if you have an appointment and just help whoever walks in first, so I had to wait. It gave me a chance to hear the girl say the same spiel about $30 diagnostic charges and 5 hour wait times. I needed a screen protector, so no diagnostic charge for me I thought because my phone is new and under warranty. Not the case. When my turn came up, she said the same line of crap to me. Trying to get unnecessary charges added on for No reason. When she knew I was becoming angry, she said she could skip the warranty process if I paid cash and it might get fixed quicker. Dropped off a screen broken iPad on 12/10 and was told the parts would be in on 12/13, per the receipt and that I should be able to pick it up that day. Here we are 12/21 and every day I'VE had to call for an update (when told we will call me) with an update. Have been told for days now we will overnight the part, every time I call. Just got told today 12/21/201 "what do you want me to do? I can't control the USPS". How many overnights does it take to get a part???? I walked into the store on 9/9/23 at 10 am for a repair .. I was automatically told that they can't do nothing for me because of scratches around the phone .. Came here for a claim filed through AT&T and the man working said it wasn't on file and there wasn't anything he could do because he had 4 people ahead of me even after providing him with the claim number. He gave me no other option I couldn't even leave my phone or just pay straight out. So I waited 15 mins after he said he'll be back and he never came back and had 4 customers waiting as well in the lobby, so I called Asurion customer service and transferred to the Federal Way location where they gave me wonderful service and I will never return here. read more

Repair was fine, but overall experience poor! I called at the beginning of the week and scheduled a repair of a Galaxy S21 Ultra to have the glass replaced for my wife. The scheduling over the phone was just fine. They would ensure the glass/parts were there on Friday/today when I dropped it off at 10AM. Well today/Friday came around and I made sure I was there 10 minutes before opening so hopefully the drop off process would take more than 15 minutes. At 10:10 UPS showed up and still no one there. So those parts didn't get there that day. I finally had to call the 800 number to see if anyone was going to show up. After the person put me on hold twice to investigate he then wanted to find another nearby location. While on the phone an employee finally arrived at 10:26. In short got in and drop off took 5 minutes. So now I'm only 11 minutes behind my schedule as I factored 15 for drop off. I was told about 2 hours would get a call to pick it up. At 12:30 PM a call. He stated almost done, will know more is 20 minutes and will let me know. Well never hear from him after that. My wife decided to just drive down at 3PM as I was at work and it was ready. She asked about the entire scenario and he had many reasons but did offer a $10 discount. Well that on a $298 repair before tax was a little over 3% discount. What a joke! Had one of the worst experiences of my life with ubreakifix, I went in for a simple fix of a couple broken pixels on my screen, was told it was going to be a couple hours, no later than the end of the day i went in. However, around 6 pm i have not received any update, i proceeded to call then they told me they were waiting on samsung to get back to them before giving me the phone. They already completed the repair before checking with Samsung to make sure that they can do the repair, and now are holding my phone hostage. I stated I will need my phone back by Monday and they ensured me that it will be back by Saturday, I called in today, Sunday, asking if anything has changed and they said its possible it might be available Monday but have given me no concrete notice. They keep saying there is nothing they can do, and I will be missing work due to their lack of professionalism. To anyone thinking of using this company for any BASIC repairs, I would advise going elsewhere, I will never be using this company again.
