U code in Hermosa Beach rocks. I recommend it to anyone that want their kids to be competent in computers in the future.

Although, many of the younger siblings seem to have infinite energy and no fear running up and sliding down the inflatable slide over and over again. We had 24 or so kids playing together, and had plenty of space inside the Ultimate Arena for their parents/families as well. The celebration room was also spacious even with all those people in there. Justin and a young woman (long dark hair and glasses) whose name escapes me right now (sorry!) ensured that we had what we needed during play time, the room was decorated and set-up ready, and the pacing of with food food (pizza, fries, chicken strips) went smoothly. We then sang "Happy Birthday" and Justin handled cake slicing, and then clean-up. They were really great about giving a play-by-play and checked in before moving onto the next thing. My son said he had the best time, and we had many parents also say their children felt the same way. Scooter's Jungle provides an awesome space for a fun, clean, and private birthday party, and takes care of all the logistics so parents can enjoy the day with their friends and families. Thanks Scooter's Jungle for another successful birthday party!

They thoroughly explained the process and timeline for our event and put out the coffee, bagels and donuts we brought for our guests to eat outside of the play room since we had a 9am start time. The kids had a great time playing and our hosts had the dining room set up with decorations before our eating time. It was great that they were able to blow up a few balloons that we brought (for an added fee) that were specific to the theme. We only bought pizzas from Scooters Jungle and brought other food ourselves, but everyone enjoyed the pizza. They did a great job serving the dessert and helping us pack up our things at the end. Overall, they provided top notch experience from A to Z and made hosting super easy. Would definitely recommend having your kids' birthday party here if you're considering it!

It's not a big place, but they've got plenty to see in the small little two-floor building they have overlooking the beach at the end of the pier. We saw sharks, different types of fish, many starfish, and jellyfish. They also have a pretty decent-sized touch tank. We easily spent a good 45 minutes just looking at all sea life and learning about the sea creatures that roam the beach. Kids loved every minute of it, and I had a blast watching them enjoy themselves. It's not the Long Beach Aquarium by any means but is amazing for what it is and the small size that it is. Worth checking out anytime you're here visiting the beach.

Just be cautious if you're wearing any sunscreen. I'm not sure if it does any harm but I erred on the side of caution. They have an upstairs but can get tight with not a lot of room if many come at a time. They do have a way to bring up wheelchairs and strollers but you will need the assistance of staff. My favorite tank was the one with the eels in it. I can't remember the fish names but there's a big funky-looking fish in it. I think it was a parrotfish. It's free to enter but please leave a donation if you can.

There were times staff kept putting back toys so quickly and frequently I was getting annoyed (in my head) because I had to keep getting boats and fish back out for him in the water area. I love that they switch out the sensory items in the art room throughout the month so it's a different experience each visit. Their Wonder Lab area with painting was sooo fun! It's too bad it was only seasonal. My son loves all of it - harvesting fruits and veggies in the farm, pushing his own cart in Trader Joe's, cooking in the restaurant, etc. It is truly a great, fun space for kids. Once, the CEO played in the construction area with him for a few minutes - that impressed me. They also regularly have special event days with dance and music demonstrations, author read alouds, etc. Members Only hour is the best time to visit (they open an hour early). Once 10:00 hits, the floodgates open and it's gets substantially more crowded. With all that said, we visited on a recent Sunday afternoon - never again! Every exhibit was in total disarray (every single toy on the floor and rarely even in the right zone), older kids zooming around on kid cars like scooters, a child climbing the fake fountain in the center and standing at the top (where were the parents?! No staff member present either...it was really dangerous). I've never seen Pretend City look like that before but if that's what it was like on my first visit it would scare me away! There's lots of parking but mostly in the back lot. The front lot gets full fast and many spots are reserved for other businesses. You can bring your own food/drinks to eat in their Cafe area or purchase some from vending machines. Wish they sold coffee... Again, amazing spot and 5/5 on weekday mornings. 1/5 on weekend afternoons.

The vending machines are expensive but it's pretty cool that you can bring your lunch. Definitely worth checking out .
