This was my second time dealing with Anthony / UG, but it won't be the last. Anthony was awesome. Incredibly knowledgeable and efficient, but not one of those guys at other gun stores where all he wants to do is talk your ear off about things you a) don't understand, or b) don't care about. My first interaction was him sourcing some Tippmann .22 LR magazines for me. This time around, he was able to source a fairly difficult firearm to find right now. Before he even got it though, he told me what it would cost and broke the price down (cost, tax, DROS) and gave me the "out the door price" which was lower than what some other shops quoted me, I just had to wait a little longer for this particular firearm. Once he got it, he let me know and we set up an appointment at 7pm on a weekday (much later than most shops are open) because of my work schedule. I arrived at 7:11 and we were done with the paperwork and I was walking out the door at 7:15pm. He did everything on the computer which sped things up tremendously. My pick up day was on a Sunday but he was unavailable, which was understandable. The next day, Monday, was Memorial day so I wasn't expecting him to be available, but before I could ask, he suggested a time. I confirmed that he knew it was Memorial Day and he did, so the appointment was confirmed. Pick up took less than two minutes. My main method of communication was via text and he was very responsive. Almost everything discussed was followed up and summarized in an email and as long as you follow instructions that are given to you, working with Anthony and UG is a breeze. They are one of the few FFLs in the Bay Area knows how to handle inter-family and frame only transfer. Incredibly on-time and professional. There are other local FFLs who are dealing with over-capacity and various personal issues which can cause you to spend a lot of time and effort just to obtain your legally purchased products. After shopping around and deciding on a AR, I needed to find an FFL in order to complete my transaction. When searching for an FFL in my area, UG Imports came to be the closest one to me. Since UG Imports was close, they were also had the better deal in charges in transferring firearms. **NOTICE**: You would need to setup an appointment to do ANY PPTs, FFLs, or purchases off their website. It's a very small office space, but that's the reason they can offer great pricing. The process was quick (except for the 10 day DROSing period) and painless. Each appointment I had was no more than 10 minutes. I had two, one for transfer and one for pick up. Customer service is friendly, quick, and right to the point.
