If you're looking for a healthier fast food option but still craving that classic fast food taste,…read morePlant Power Fast Food is a great choice. Everything on the menu is 100% vegan, so it's a good spot if you're trying to eat a little better without giving up burgers, fries, and shakes. Just make sure to go in open-minded and understand that it's not going to taste 100% like real meat, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. I've been here a couple of times now, and my favorites are the Nashville Hot "Chicken" Sandwich and the Western Burger. Both have really good flavor and hit that fast food craving. The Buffalo tenders are also delicious, and you definitely can't forget their shakes, they're really good and taste like a classic fast food shake. Customer service has always been friendly every time I've gone, and the inside is always clean, fresh, and has a nice atmosphere. Overall, this place is actually really good for being vegan fast food, and I'd definitely come back when I'm in the mood for fast food but want a healthier alternative.

I ordered a very good Cheeseburger with Red Onions, tomato, lettuce and pickles, but some of the American Cheese was congealed. I also had an okay Iconic Burger with lettuce, tomato and pickles. Regular Fries were non-greasy and tasted normal. Our server misunderstood our order, but got it corrected quickly. Seats were of hard wood that was tough on a diner's buttocks.

Being a fully vegan Mexican restaurant, I wasn't sure how well they'd pull off those bold, traditional flavors. But to their credit, the food actually surprised me. The vegan meats had solid flavor and were pretty close to the real thing, especially when it came to those classic Mexican seasonings. You could tell they put effort into making the dishes taste authentic. That said, the burritos were a bit heavy on the rice and beans, which kind of took away from the overall balance. Customer service was just okay nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. It got the job done, but didn't really add to the experience. One downside was the pricing. For what you get, it did feel a bit overpriced, especially considering the portions. It's also worth noting that Viva Vegan is now permanently closed, which isn't too surprising. While the food had its highlights and was impressive for vegan Mexican food, it didn't quite hit the mark enough to keep people coming back consistently. Overall, it was a decent spot for what it was, especially if you're curious about vegan Mexican food, but not something that really stood out in the long run in my opinion.

It was nice to be able to enjoy some vegan ramen. There's a a lot of vegan Mexican spots in SoCal and I've tried a good amount of it, so that's how I'm reviewing this, in that context. I would eat here if I was in the area, but wouldn't go outta the way for it. Mostly for it being outta the way and I know where I can get better food closer to home. I ordered the barrio, nachos and tacos. I didn't love the nachos or the cheese here. The tacos were good, tho you can't really mess up tacos in SoCal. Also, the parking lot is pretty small. This is more of a quick stop or pick up and go type of place.

We like to order out fries extra crispy and they are indeed always perfectly crisp. They have vegan options and vegan shakes! While we're fans of the food, there's a couple things to note : 1) The service here is usually ok. There is usually 2 younger employees working so they can be delayed to get to the order window at times. 2) I reccomend ordering online and giving your order ready time an ADDITIONAL 15 minutes. Ex) order pickup time states 5:00, expect it ready at 5:15 at the earliest. 3)The restaurant is in located in downtown Redlands so parking can be difficult. There is very minimal outside seating available. It's located in an alley so it can be easy to walk past.

At no point was I told that each sauce would cost $2.08. She went ahead and added both sauces to my order, and I didn't realize they were an extra charge??? Charging over $2 for a small sauce is already expensive, but not informing customers before adding them to the order is frustrating. A simple, "Just so you know, each sauce is $2.08," would have avoided the issue. Transparency about extra charges goes a long way. Because of that experience, I left feeling disappointed. The lack of communication about the additional cost overshadowed the meal.

The flavor was good and I enjoyed them, but unfortunately they were missing one of my favorite parts of xiao long bao. The soup. There was very little to no broth inside. The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10

Rainbow Foods makes an extremely good case for eating plant based foods. I happened to be there for a grand opening. See my pic for their store front at 721 S. Nevada, Suite 407, Redlands. For those who have been in town a while you'll see the Cooking Block sign on their store front - I'll explain in a moment. But to the food... The lead banner in their website is "Chef-Crafted, Plant-Forward Prepared Foods". So their orientation is plant based and will also include some animal protein lines. We started our tasting in the front part of the suite, you'll see it in the background of the small cup of Mongolian Beef. Surprisingly, I thought this was real beef. It's really vegan. The flavors were spot on and the chew was a dead ringer for tender beef. The next photo is their Chorizo JUST Egg Burritito ™ . This is plant based and vegan, as well. The Chorizo was quite good: nice flavor, good chew and the right amount of heat. The scrambled egg paired very well with the Chorizo. The tortilla is quite good in spite it being gluten free. As seen in the large serving tray Shrimp (animal based) Fried Rice and Wok Fired Shrimp Lo Mein. Unfortunately, these items can't be bought here. BUT, they are sold in Clark's Nutrition & Natural Markets as Ready To Eat, see my sale display pics. Check on their website as they are constantly expanding their distribution in the Inland Empire. But starting in January, they will be offering dining on their premises. Now back to the store front: this is business will have a lot of food experiences ahead for us. Starting January, they will be offering membership based dining in the rear of this unit. The membership will offer 3 and 5 course paring dinners throughout each month. They will also offer cooking demos and wine education. Keep checking on their website for their on premise dining.

Customer service has always been on point too. The staff is friendly, chill, and they make the experience easy every time I go in. One thing to keep in mind, they almost always have a wait time, so you definitely need to be patient. It's not the kind of spot where you're in and out quick, but the food usually makes it worth it. The only downside for me is the pricing. Ever since they switched locations, the prices have gone up quite a bit. It's definitely noticeable, especially if you've been going there as long as I have.
