Do they even answer their phone. Tried calling numerous times and nobody answers the phone.

Waikele premium outlet has two things that I seem to have an obsession with, first is watches (Watch Station) & sunglasses, specifically Oakley sunglasses (Sunglass Hut). Every time I come to Waikele premium outlets, I always make sure that I stop by Sunglass Hut as they have great deals and the staff there is super friendly and super helpful. Manager Blake always takes care of me and his other customers and that's what keeps us (especially me) coming back. I have probably bought more glasses at this particular store then anywhere else in the US combined as I enjoy coming here just to see what's new and to just talk story at times. At first, I was excited to have found what I was looking for, Versace aviators with a 20% discount at 270$, they had no new ones in store so I decided to have a new one ordered and shipped to the store, the sales associate stated that if I had shipped to my home, it will only take 3-4 business days. I said that's fine and I'll wait for the shipment to arrive. 16 days later, no sunglasses. The one star is not because I did not receive my product within 3-4 business days, but the hoops I had to go through to get a refund. The first call was made at 13 days from the product not arriving on time, the associate tells me to wait at least one more day for it to arrive, I say ok but in the event it does not arrive within the given time, I will be requesting for a refund, the associate proceeds to tell me that I will not be refunded until I receive they item and physically give it to them. I stated that that's absurd, at this point the tracking showed that it had not moved for 10 days. I waited 2 more days, still nothing. The second call I asked for a manager, I was informed there was no manager on duty and to wait the next day, I gave my name and number to have the manager call me as soon as they come in the next morning. No call from the manager, my third call I stated that no one called me to resolve this issue, I finally got a manager, he proceeded to tell me that due to them switching to a more "green" shipping process, my product is delayed, at this point I was frustrated and informed him that that's an internal issue and the consumer should not have to pay for their errors. He stated to me that he can give me the display they had in store or they can reorder one to be shipped in store, which will take longer and that's the only options. He then states that if you have a complaint to call the 1-800 number. He gave me the number but before I go over his head, I confirmed with him, so you're refusing to give me a refund? At that moment he may have realized something and stated that he will give me a refund without the product in hand. That's all I wanted, my money back for a product that may never arrive, either someone stole it or it's lost. Like I said, the customer should not to go through what I did. I usually get my sunglasses at this location. I always had great customer service and left a happy customer. Most of the glasses are on sale between $99-$200 - I think is a good price for designer glasses and it lasts for several years. I wish there were more different colors, but I usually find the pair that I love. I believe they provide 1 year warranty to replace damaged glasses, 90 days to return, and free adjustments for it. read more

Bought a pair of Pradas from them and loves it, especially the customer service. So, I decided to go back again, but to buy a more everyday type of glasses. I bought Ray*Ban aviators this time and absolutely love them too! I wanted to give them 5 stars, but a lot of the styles I wanted was out of stock. The sales girl did offer to purchase and have shipped direct to my home. Just to my understanding from what I was told the last time.... if they have the glasses on display, they have it in stock. Walking into the sunglass hut I didn't think I would buy anything (even though I needed some glasses). The girl with pink hair (didn't catch her name) asked me if I needed some help. I knew what I wanted and began asking for the glasses I wanted. Every question I asked was answered, she found me a new pair instead of just the ones on the rack, offered to adjust my glasses amd even explained the warranty to me. Wow that's great service. She did it with a smile and very helpful. I felt kinda bad because she had a hard time finding my glasses because there was a similar one that the lenses was just a little bigger and I didnt want those. She did everything with a smile, asked all the right questions and sold me the glasses I wanted. She even showed me how to remove the lenses off a different pair and not mines but reminded me that I could come in anytime for them to help replace my lenses if I had different ones I wanted to change. Also the warranty rocks!!!! Within a year if my glasses breaks I can bring it back to change for a pair for half the cost of the old ones. I will definitely be coming back to see her if I ever need another pair or if anyone else goes look for her!!! read more

After eating sushi, Jeremy and I walked over because he fell in love with the pair of shades I have (and wanted his own)! The section I ushered him to were the Ray-Bans, because he never had his own pair before and maybe the shades I own could be there, lol. There was a pair really similar to mine but none exactly like it. We also looked around at the different sections but came back to the Ray-Bans. Just in case something else caught his eyes. One of the workers came by and asked how we were doing, and if we needed any help. I asked him if they carried my sunglasses but found out that there weren't any. As Jeremy paid at the cashier, the worker that helped us earlier was really nice and asked where we were from and if we were still in high school. Really? We look that young? :P He was surprised to find out what year we graduated. Selection's quite similar to other shops with sunglasses other than that, the worker offered a cheaper pair that was in the sale section but Jeremy rather take the one he picked :3 read more

***public service announcement for all you moms out there*** i visited Sunglass Hut yesterday hoping to repair some sunnies i purchased a couple years ago. as you may have guessed, my toddler had gotten a hold of them, stretching the temples so wide it barely stayed on my head, and popping off a tiny screw so one of the lenses was drooping. but as i walked in, seeing the nice displays lining the walls, i had an epiphany! i could cover the bags under my eyes (from lack of sleep) and unkempt eyebrows (or lack of eye makeup at early morning drop offs) in a blink - with oversized sunglasses! the celebrities do it all the time right?! i grabbed the biggest pair i saw and asked the salesperson (genevieve) if she had any other similar styles (hey I'm a mom, i don't have much time and i'm not above asking for help). she sweetly brought me pair after pair (and not just the expensive ones, sale stuff too!), and since i was alone (a wise mom never brings her kids shopping, if she is fortunate to have a choice), even helped me select the final pair. she explained at checkout that if it didn't work out i could bring it back within 90 days. she also fixed those sunnies i came in with, cleaning and adjusting them too. this is a lifetime benefit of buying from them! the prices may be on the steep side but to me the service and perks are worth it... because, we moms deserve the best and you know how unpredictable "mom life" can be! read more

Shotty customer service. Management is very poor at this location. I've encountered the management in this store twice and both times were uncomfortable. I was made out to feel inferior and like they did not want to help me. At one point when a young associate was assisting me, a manager was talking about me to one of her co-workers (clearly within ear shot). Absolutely unacceptable. Advice, don't bother. Make the trip to the Pearlridge mall location, and hopefully the staff at this outlet gets a reality check (and some training). read more

Walked into the store with my boyfriend, there were maybe about 3-4 workers there. In there for a good 5 minutes looking at the Oakley sunglasses, not ONE hello or can we help you with anything? Let me start saying terrible service , the manager in the mornings( I believe she worked on a Tuesday 2 weeks ago.) unsympathetic person I purchased Ray Bans aviators sunglasses couple of months ago explained to her I accidentally dropped in the garbage compactor in my office. Her response was there is nothing she can do for me I wasnt looking for a free pair but maybe some kind of discount not even a 5% discount!!!!! WOW BAD SERVICE! Walked in Solstice Sunglasses not only were they understanding about my situation they gave me 15% discount on Ray Bans Aviators!!!! I hope corporate can read and retrain managers and sales at Sunglass Hut never going there and telling everyone About horrible service!!!!!! read more

A little disappointed in the customer service :/ Walked in with my friend and started trying on pairs. Finally after being in the fairly empty store for 5 minutes Natalie asked if we needed anything, I told her "I'm looking for new aviators" she then told me "well every brand sells aviators" I didn't respond thinking maybe she would suggest a brand or a style, but she didn't. She was actually not very helpful at all besides pulling out the pair from the case but that's alright. Long story short ended up purchasing the sunglasses and returning them because Solstice Sunglasses (near the coach store) had a better sale and awesome service. Probably wouldn't have even walked into Solstice if I had excellent service at Sunglass Hut but maybe it will be a training opportunity for their staff in the future! read more
