My biggest gripe was that the live music was too loud. I am used to loud music in the background, but this felt louder than normal--all of my friends were complaining about it. This obviously made it difficult to talk with others. It might not be as loud when there is not live music. The food and drinks were okay. It is bar food with a Bavarian twist. Our servers were nice and periodically checked in to refill our drinks. I'm not sure if I would go here again if I was in town, but this would be a fun spot for some.

The breads are very European, such as rye. Not for everyone, but fresh and tasty. What I really appreciated here was the owner making his rounds, having conversations with his regulars, making new customers feel welcomed and keeping traditions alive.
