I needed some shampoo that I love and they usually have the liter size. But instead they didn't have the size I needed they have the smaller size that doesn't really last me but 2 weeks. So other than that you can get online and get the shampoor liter size and you can pick it up at the store. So today I had a very good experience the lady who was a very good sells person was trying to help me find the size I needed. She was also disappointed they usually carry it all the time it was just they didn't have it at the time that I came in. Other than that the store was clean and very orderly they have the best perfumes money could buy. Overwhelmed with looking at all of the very expensive perfumes they have. So I knew exactly where to find them when I am ready for Christmas time for family members. Because they were closing I couldn't stick around to shop a little more. Little did I know they close at 9 PM I thought at 10 PM. Unfortunately I may have to come back later next week to hunt for hair dryers and also curlers. Have a great staff of people very friendly and they always greet you at the door so it's not like they give you a stare they actually speak with you. Hooray for that, So I'm planning to come back and I have a very good experience today I'm very happy about that. But it was my fault because the fact that it was getting too late. Yes, it's me again. I can't get enough of the amazing customer service from this place. Let's start with Karla, very welcoming and friendly. When I get off work on Fridays, she provides the best service. Makeup, skin care, new sales etc. She keeps me well informed. Now, the benefit bar. New Eyebrow Tech, Alisha, has my eyebrows on snatched. I have received so many compliments. Get this, she left European Wax Bar in Bee Cave. Go figure. I came to collect my free birthday gift. The lady behind the counter said I had a choice between a small blush, or the facial cream. Since I don't wear blush, I opted for the facial cream. It is made by Lancôme and it's just a small trial size. Since I was there, I bought a small hair mousse. Been air drying my hair lately, and my natural curls have been coming out. Thought the mousse would help hold the curls in this Texas heat. We shall see read more

I stopped by Ulta today looking for a travel-size Versace men's cologne, and Hannah went above and beyond to help me. She was so kind and took the time to check in the back to see if they had any travel sizes available. Unfortunately, they didn't have any in stock, but she surprised me by giving me a sample of Dior Sauvage--one of my favorite colognes! That small gesture was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. Even though the store was busy, there were plenty of associates available and willing to help customers, which made the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience thanks to Hannah and the excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back! read more

Had an appointment for make up tutorial and I confirmed that with the artist (who was nice enough). Then I was charged for both make up application and make up tutorial $80 for a half hour of time. Artist was also 15 min late to my appointment. I don't know how you can do a tutorial without applying makeup. It wasn't even my entire face, just eyes and a little blush. I tried to get help from a manager who was completely not helpful and basically said, yeah, it's both and offered nothing to help. I will not be back to this Ulta store to get my hair done anymore. I was barely getting let go the fact that the stylist talk trash about costumers when they are a little late or when the costumer has or ask to get a certain way her hair, but more than 3 times I was ON TIME and even 5 min earlier to my appointments to have me waiting 10-15 and one time even 20 min bc even though she'd sit me on the chair she was still finishing the other lady's hair, and even midway doing my hair she'd have another client sitting on the chair for the new girl to wash not only my hair but to dry it... mind you I asked for a haircut that day too but bc she was too focused on on not to lose another client she forgot so by the time the girl almost finished drying my hair I asked Yolanda if I was still going to get a haircut she apologized but she was not gonna be able to bc she was with another client! The latest one was I called to make an appt with Yolanda she answered the phone and "booked" my appt I got to the appt and she was doing another lady hair and she was so confused and said I didn't booked I reminded her abt talking to her tan other lady the one that books the appts came to help she looked if I had an appt booked she said there's nothing and that I might have called the wrong store, then Yolanda said ohh yeah I kind of remember but I think it's for next week and you got confused, the lady check for next weeks appt and she said yeah there's nothing, then Yolanda said sorry but I think you misunderstood, even when she admitted talking to me... I walked out I called the store to speak with the store manager to let her know my experience not asking for anything other than being mindful of the situation and I was not wanting to go back, she apologized and offered a service 100% on them but wanted to find someone who had the time for next week being that I had an event to attend so she said the beauty manager was gonna be in to following day and asked me if I wanted to talk to him/her abt the situation and to confirm the appt., next day came she found me another lady but now she said the other supervisor offered 10% off the service... 10%!? My tip is more than that but if I was to leave 10% I would be the one who's in the wrong, first of all how are you going to offer something that I didn't even asked to then retract yourself for a freaking 10%... I like Ulta because they have a variety of beauty products from hair, skin, makeup, nails and fragrances that fit almost any budget. I mostly prefer it over Sephora for that reason. This particular location isn't always well organized or well stocked. It seems to be worse over time. I haven't been back in a couple of months so perhaps it's improved. read more

Ask for Caleb for all your hairdressing needs!!!- I hadn't gotten my haircut in 3 years and finally decided it was time. Going to get my hair cut is always nerve wracking for me because of my bad experiences in the past, but thank the universe I got blessed with Caleb Michael. I have no clue about hair, but he was still somehow able to give me exactly what I wanted. He blended my natural color from past dye jobs, gave me highlights and layers and I couldn't be happier. I can now wear it natural! I got a boost of self confidence from my hair, but also from Caleb himself. Not only was he extremely personable, he was the best hair dresser I have had. He worked with me, listened to what I wanted, and made me giggle. I currently have $53 in points, I tell the cashier Alexis that I want to use points. My total is $36.80 and I tell her I want to use $20 in points and she tells me it is too hard to separate out the points. I actually used to work at Ulta and it is not difficult at all. I say never mind and just pay the full amount. And then she had the audacity to ask me to apply for a credit card to save 20%!!! You won't redeem my points for $ off but you will let me apply for a credit card?! Really, your too good to me Ulta! Absolutely rediculous. Not a happy camper. Long day at work (6am to 4pm), realized I had set an order for pickup instead of delivery. Went to pick it up and asked the CS if I needed to get in line. She said no, but what is your order number? Not name, not phone number, not something easy. So I said I would have to look at my email. Spent a few minutes looking, found it, and went to show her. Not good enough. Now she wants my name, too. Ok showed her the phone again. SHE TAKES IT FORM MY HAND AND STARTS SCROLLING. IN MY PHONE!!! Says she wants to make sure I am at the right store location (because I am stupid) sees ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFO. NAME ADDRESS ORDER INFO, everything. Yesterday I went to Ulta Beauty in Bee Cave, TX. Yolanda did my hair, cut and color. This is the second time seeing her. She is AMAZING! She listened to me, we looked at pictures of what I wanted...but none of the pictures were perfect...I liked this one for this cut, this one for the bangs, this one for the back...she took it all in. My hair is PERFECT! The color. The style. The ease it is to style. I am SO THANKFUL for Yolanda! Thank You to my neighbor, who reccomended her! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE at Ulta Domain Went in today visiting from San Antonio. Was looking for a certain item and asked a sales associate for help. She looked ( obviously not very well) and could not find it. In the meantime, I was on a mission to find it because I had purchased one at another Ulta store l found the item and went up to her to share my find. She begrudgingly acknowledged me and dismissed me. Then upon checking out, the cashier associate was abrupt and rude when I asked about pricing and coupon adjustment. She snatched the item and threw it behind it. At that point I remarked that she was being rude and walked out with my daughter. They never gave the birthday gift items in stock or samples. as I was checking out- I waited 10 minutes for one person in front of me while at least 3 people that worked there did nothing. Today I tried to return a product. I was told it was on two separate cards by the sales girl. I found the receipt and it clearly shows that it was on one card. The manager wasn't able to refund my money as she said it wouldn't go through and it is a credit card problem. She told me to call Ulta customer service and they could process the return. Called customer service, they said they couldn't give me a refund bc it was purchased in store and that the manager should have called them while I was there. She said hold on and she'll talk to someone and then I got hung up on. I called the store manager back and told her what they said. She said the system wasn't letting her give me a refund. And that it was a credit card issue and I needed to call the cc company. I called the cc company and they said it isn't an issue on their end but that I need to now file a dispute with Ulta. Filed a dispute but at this point I'm in the mindset to return EVERYTHING I bought from your company. This just seems like your company wants to make this refund process as difficult as possible so I just give up. I've wasted half my Saturday on this problem--and this same thing happened last week at the Brodie store when I tried to return items. They said it was on two cards and I just ended up taking the return on the two cards even though I don't use that one card. I don't want this product and now it's just going in the trash. read more

*** Caleb just saved my hair. After unknowingly using it's A 10 leave in conditioner daily.... Who knew you weren't supposed to? My hair was a breaking, falling out mess! I've been up there several times asking stylists for help with products to fix it. Nothing helped. Caleb recommended a product called Fekkai. I decided to trust him to cut my hair... Which I still typically drive back to Dallas for. But it was such a haystack bush I said let's do it.. We used the product in the shampooing area and it felt better right away. His cut was awesome!! Thankfully Anna came to my rescue and when I told her what I was looking for, she took straight to the Peach and Lily and after trying it, I feel in love with the product; however, they didn't have any left. Anna went above and beyond and was able to give me enough in a small jar to hold me over as I was going on a trip. She then gave me a serum of which I've never tried all because she's that amazing. This review is about an order I placed on Ulta.com. I have placed many orders with Ulta online over the years and have had no problem with receiving them. Unfortunately the last order I placed was delivered to the wrong address (in a different city) and although they are the ones who sent it to the wrong address, I have been told that there is nothing they can/will do about it and I am out my $92.00. It is ridiculous that a large company is willing to stiff an individual person, a customer of theirs. Please think twice before you place an online order. So I was in Horseshoe Bay for the holidays & wanted to get my hair done. I went by first to ask for prices and to see if they could even do the colors I wanted. One of the gals said it was doable but it was going to take at least 4hrs. She quoted me a doable price with one of the "lowest" (I guess they are ranked) stylists. I left but then called later & made an appointment with Ashley. I explained what I wanted & she said she had carved out enough time AND she confirmed that the $135 price was correct. About 30 minutes later, she called back and said she had made a mistake & that she didn't have enough time in one sitting so could we do the colors that day (like at that moment) and make another appointment for the cut.... that didn't sit well with me, so I just changed the appointment time to do it all at once. The day came/ I was excited & my whole day had been planned around this appointment. When I arrived there was one gal & one guy working. He looked at me like I was screwing up his day by just being there at the counter. I told him that I had an appointment with Ashley & again, I got a look. He proceeds to tell me that Ashley doesn't work on Thursdays. I told him that I had personally spoken with her and she's the one who made the appointment..... he again, argued with me that it wasn't possible, b/c she never works on Thursday. Then he says he can maybe get me in with another gal, but that she's an "elite stylist" so it would be higher ($280 / that's a $145 DIFFENCE). She came over and began looking at my hair to see how she could possibly do it for the original quoted price- then she realized that she didn't have enough of the purple that I wanted so it couldn't be done unless I wanted to settle for another color.... oh- AND because of how thick my hair was, it was going to be at least $190- which, btw, my stylist only charges me $120) REALLY??? You think I want to pay just to "settle" for something I really didn't want???!!!! So I just left! AND I won't ever go back, even to do any shopping! You lost my business for..ever & I'd be happy to tell others of my experience so they don't waste their money! read more

This review is for the salon. Just a warning for other ladies that like a good blow out go to Blo or your regular stylist not here. I came before and got a great blowout with beach waves for $45 which was fair and of course I tipped the stylist. Today I go get the exact same process and service and it's $70 which is the highest I've ever paid for a beach waves blowout. I asked at the register if it was correct and she got a manager to ask. The manager just said if a curling iron or tool is involved at all behind blow drying it's like a full second charge to total $70. I told her I'd been several times and had the blow dryer and tool used and was charged the $45. She said too bad it's $70. I said ok but I couldn't come back when Blo and my stylist is $45-$55. She said that's fine and asked me what tip I wanted to add on top of $70! Seriously who pays $90-$100 for a simple 30-45 minute blowout? No thanks, won't be back. The Manager could care less and basically acted like I was crazy for asking and all the times I paid $45 for the same service there I imagined. read more
