I had a very disappointing experience with Miriam at the Great Clips in Brea. I brought my…read more3-year-old son in for a haircut and explained that, because of his age and his difficulty sitting independently for a haircut, I needed to sit with him in order for him to remain calm and safely get his hair cut. Miriam completely refused to cut his hair unless he sat by himself in the chair. I explained that he is only three and that this would not work for him. I also explained that at the Fullerton Great Clips location, the stylists have allowed me to sit with him without an issue. Her response was simply that it was "the stylist's preference." What bothered me most was the lack of willingness to work with us at all. I wasn't asking her to do something unreasonable I was trying to tell her what I know works for my own child and what would make the haircut easier and safer for everyone involved. Parents of very young children, especially children who may have sensory or developmental needs, know that sometimes a little flexibility and patience are necessary. I ultimately left without getting his hair cut. I understand that stylists may have individual comfort levels, but I was extremely disappointed with how dismissive the interaction felt. After having much more accommodating experiences at the Fullerton Great Clips, I would not return to the Brea location or recommend Miriam for a young child who needs a little extra patience or support during a haircut.

However, as I approached the counter to check in, another employee suddenly interrupted to ask Tracey personal questions about taking a lunch break. I found it highly unprofessional that this employee couldn't ask at a better time or in private, rather than having the entire conversation right in front of a customer. It felt like a child demanding attention from a parent. I kept quiet, but the situation made me uncomfortable. ​After checking in, I sat in the chair for my haircut and explained the style I wanted. Tracey began speaking to me in an incredibly loud, shouting tone, even though I was only an inch away from her. It seemed like she wanted to put in the absolute least amount of effort possible. I pulled a leave-in conditioner packet out of my purse to apply before the cut, and Tracey snapped at me, shouting, "Can you apply that afterwards because I am allergic to stuff?" I remained calm, but the environment was becoming increasingly hostile. It felt as though she simply had an aversion to high-end products. ​While this was happening, another customer walked in. Tracey immediately started greeting them, and while she was putting the cutting cape on me, she asked if I even had an appointment--despite the fact that she had already checked me in and asked me to seat down! In other words, she was subtly implying she would rather take the walk-in than cut my hair. ​All of these incidents occurred within a brief 10-minute timespan. The entire experience felt like hell. I am sharing this because the customer should always come first. I was never disrespectful or unpleasant during my visit, but I am not someone who can be pushed around. This issue is going directly to corporate. I believe in speaking the truth when experiencing unfortunate and abusive service, and I will never set foot in this low-class establishment again. When I went to the salon to show her the disaster that she left she simply wanted to apply a toner or cover the stains with dye. She told me sarcastically if I had a problem that I could get a lawyer. When I exited the salon she began to film me. Through text she called me dramatic and said it was not a big deal. Overall she had a terrible attitude. I will be looking for a legal solution to keep people like this from having a successful business. They will happily charge you a significant amount and then blame any mistakes on the client.

I feel really bad about losing them. He told me that they were stainless steel and from Sephora. Okay, no worries. I was at Kolhs doing a return for Amazon, and figured I could look here. I searched everywhere and didn't see nail clippers. I walked up the front and asked the employee for help. She said she hadn't seen nail clippers at their store. She offered some advice of going to an actually Sephora store. She was very nice and friendly. I looked up some Sephora stores nearby. I also thought to look online. I figured, if they have it, wouldn't it be sol online? Online doesn't show that Sephora sells nail clippers. I don't really want to drive around to several stores if they don't even sell it. I'm guessing this is something they used to sell, but don't anymore? Or maybe they only sell this item around the holidays. I'm not too sure at this point. I might have to break the news to my husband that I can't find the exact nail clipper replacement. Sad day.

I used to buy the clothes here for myself but haven't found anything I love. But I do like coming here for stuff for baby girl and Amazon returns. We stopped in to return something actually from Kohl's and since I haven't had a chance to go to the mall to see if my tinted moisturizer is available I decided to stop here at the Sephora at Kohl's. So happy I did, I checked to see if they have my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, they unfortunately discontinued the one I have been using for 20 years now so sad, don't you hate when they do that? Lol! But I was hopeful I saw they have reformulated the formula and decided to see if I could find my shade. Surprisingly I found my shade quite easily yay. I wasn't sure how I would like it but I love it matched my skin perfectly. Tinted moisturizer is not for everyone but i really like it since it's light and looks natural and also has spf in it to protect your skin. The girl that helped me at the counter was so friendly and helpful. I didn't need anything else so that's all I got. They have a good selection here which I appreciate since it doesn't smell of perfume like the Sephora at the mall lol, I really appreciate that. Thank you so much for friendly service and having what I needed. I recommend this location for both Kohl's and for Sephora it's so convenient.
