This is my first time getting a haircut at Supercuts. I have long hair, salon I usually go to is fully booked for next two months. I only needed a trim, so figure I'll try Supercuts. I wasn't expecting much from Supercuts. The lady who cut my hair is pleasant, the trim itself is fine. She wet my hair to cut it, and left it wet at the end of the cut. They don't even let you use their hairdryer to dry your hair. I have never had to ask to borrow hair dryer at a salon in my life, let alone leaving salon with wet hair. I was in class and recognized how long my bangs had gotten. My older sister, who usually cuts my bangs, wasn't in the area and recommended for me to call Supercuts for a walk-in appointment. I was a bit nervous because I hear so many hit/miss stories about Supercuts, but I was so desperate for something so I went ahead and called. They asked if I could come in at 1:30 (I called at 12:50) and I said that was fine. I actually winded up coming 10 minutes late after accidentally driving to another location but I called them and they were very understanding. I then sat for another 10 minutes waiting for a spot to open up. There were couches for customers to sit and wait, which was nice. It seemed like many of the customers in there are returners and it was sweet seeing the interactions being stylists and their clients. Seems very friendly. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the stylist who cut my bangs (she had red hair), but she was very attentive and did a great job. I was in and out of the chair in less than 5 minutes. The total was 12 (I thought it'd be cheaper for cutting bangs) and with tip was 16. If I ever need another bang trim when my sister isn't in town, I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Here for an update, hair is still pretty much black when asked for medium brown thanks to HELEN! Now I will say good on Tracy for trying to fix it For FREE, even tho it's taking awhile to fix. At least something is kinda being done to give my grandma what she ASKED AND PAID FOR. Now stop asking me to take down my review. People need to know HELEN Is it here not doing what she is asked to do with peoples hair. I hope you fix my grandma hair soon or I will have to update this again. Called at 12:20pm on a Monday to see if they had openings, they scheduled me for a 1pm same day which was great. I got there at 1pm and checked in. I waited 10-15min but that was fine. WOW!! Visiting from out of town and needed a haircut. I come to this area at least 6 times a year. I stopped in here and was greeted immediately by the manager. Then all the other stylists said hello even tho they were working on other clients. Not a long wait. My stylist was NATALIE. She was so professional. She gave me a wonderful stylish cut and blow dry. I have medium length hair and I told her I was afraid to lose the length. She did not disappoint. Just cut off the dead ends and gave me long layers. The price was right. I will be back!! read more

Tracy is the store manager who also cuts hair and does fabulous color and highlights. I have longer, curly hair and she does a great job layering my hair and also keeping the fuller look of length. She recently did highlights on me and matched my golden hair highlights beautifully. I highly recommend Tracy and this Supercuts location, who is also open on Sundays; highly convenient. My 14 yr old son has straight hair with a cowlick in back and Natalie did a great job on his hair. He really liked his haircut. Been here twice. Line is usually not long. The first time I had an appointment and they were respectful about it, where I didn't have to wait at all. The second time I did not schedule an appointment, but the wait was not too bad. Both times I had different cutters, but they were friendly and accommodating (covered my neck extra, so hair didn't go down my shirt, since I just had back surgery). I liked the hair cuts, got a rather short simple cut. Only had two haircuts the past year and it has been at this location. The term modern era gets thrown around alot when describing certain erections(building wise), this place looks like it was built during the modern era. This place was no different from most supercuts except for a few notable advantages. The sofas are more modern and upscale than the typical bench/chairs you see. A light color wood, on a soft gray pattern which looks comfy too. The who place looks very clean and shiny including the sink area. There was plenty of open space in the hair styling area and the waiting area. My stylist was awesome, she gave me a great cut, my usual short flat top from the 90's with a touch of new millenium era. She was freindly and professional, I would get my hair cut by her again. Quick and effective, I left happy and trim. This place is so convenient with not too much traffic in the evening and close the the 57, ralphs, eateries, gas, bank I will most likely be back. read more

Went to get a haircut tonight, it was my first time going to this store. Lady in a black "pink" t-shirt told me a 40 min wait. I told her I'm going to come back in 30mins. I came back 30 mins later, she seemed confused when she saw me, "is your name on the list?" She asked. I politely remind her that she put my name down about 30 mins ago. She turn to me and gave me this look filthy look. I took a seat and waited. 15 mins later she called the family that came after me. The family has 2 kids that needed a haircut. At this point I have been waiting blindly for about an hour without a clue what's going on! I tried to talk to someone but the cashier went back to the break room behind the giant mirror. Why is there only one hairstylist working???????? THIS CASHIER IS REALLY DAMAGING YOUR IMAGE! I have been going to Supercuts for about 8 years now never have I ever experience such terrible service. This store seriously needs better management! It's unfortunate that I have to drive to a different salon now. Congratulations you have lost a valuable customer. When I want a haircut, I don't plan it out in advance. My stylist is always booked up weeks in advance and I wanted a trim. I read online that cut without was $20something. I called and asked if I should wash my hair before I came in and they said yes. So I washed and checked online for wait time. No wait time! I arrived and said their online system is not linked to the store and that it's a lie! One star off. Otherwise, I am happy. She listened and did what I asked. The wait was quick as there were about 4 guys ahead of me and they are easy, quick trim and buzz whereas I wanted bangs and a few inches off. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Supercuts. I made an appointment and arrived on time. I was asked to wait, which is fine, I understand that previous appointments can run long. I waited about 15-20 minutes and then a person cutting hair took me back to be seated. While I was waiting, there were two people working and both were assisting clients. One of them was working close to the register and the other on the same side but at the far end of the shop. The person cutting hair closest to the register was cutting a young boy's hair and his mother was seated in the seat next to him not being serviced holding a dog that was not a service dog. Both the person working, and the mother had face masks on, but they fell below their noses and did not cover their noses. The mother was talking loudly about different shootings she heard from her home and recent events where people had been killed. The mother let her other, completely unmasked, child run around the shop and sit and spin in ALL of the vacant chairs the entire time I was waiting. Normally this would not bother me (kids will be kids), but we are in a pandemic. Neither person working in the shop said anything and allowed this to continue. After I waited 15-20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, the person cutting hair at the far end of the shop came over to me to take me back to get my hair cut. She proceeded to try to seat me next to the person that was currently being serviced. I asked her if she could cut my hair on the far end where she had just been working because there was less than 6 feet distance between me and the next person who was unmasked. The worker said that she was sorry, but "this" was her station (although the previous person she was assisting was being serviced at a completely different station and she still tried to seat me in the seat next to the unmasked child being worked on with the other unmasked child still running between us). I respectfully asked her if we could use another station and she just kept saying she was sorry but "this" was her station. I politely pointed out that she had been cutting hair just moments before at the very end of the shop and again she said "this is my station." I left without incident and did not get my hair cut. This place did not care that they were seating me next to someone who was not masked and when I asked to be accommodated in another location where I was at least 6 feet from an unmasked person, the employee declined. The people working this day, according to the Supercuts app, were Traci, Maria and Mireya (although I only saw two people working). I think Traci was the person assisting the mother with the two children, but I am not sure. I hope that you do not make the same mistake that I did by booking an appointment here. No one from my family, nor I, will never go back here again. This was a pretty trashy, unsanitary, and potentially dangerous experience situation given the fact that we are still in the middle of a pandemic and the delta variant is rampant in our community. This is why you should just go to an actual Salon- you get what you pay for. #trash #supercuts read more

While waiting with a decent group in the lobby, it was very frustrating to see the following: Three stylists at a computer to make a sign for the door One stylist even sat down and read a magazine before "organizing" them A lot of small talk (while not cutting hair) between employees Emptying a trash can out the back These things should done when it's slow, not when you have several people waiting. For the most part, the staff here is always friendly. Every time I have gotten a cut so far, the stylist has chatted me up, instead of letting me sit there in silence. The only complaint I've had is one time I walked in just before closing (about 10 minutes before closing time), the receptionist whispered "seriously?" under her breath, while rolling her eyes.
