I went into Ulta on Saturday April 4th, looking for a certain moisturizer that they no longer carry. I spoke with several of the employees that didn't seem to have a clue. As I was about to leave, Lo and behold up walks Desiree. She immediately inquired about my skin (dry or oily) and started suggesting other products for me. The original product that I wear was very expensive, the product that she suggested (Ole Henriksen) was prefect for my sensitive skin. Not only did I purchase the moisturizer, but got the eye cream and the lip balm. I've been using my new products for a week, and absolutely love them!! Today I went in Ulta today for a return I purchased the day prior. My experience was very unpleasant. I went in with my 2 brothers who happen to be african american one of which came in with me yesterday no issue. Today however a worker Lauren decided to follow my two brothers through the aisles and watch them as they were causally shopping for me. As we walked in she was at the register and I stayed there processing my return and they looked around she followed them both. She was reaching for her mic speaking into it watching them. This is the utmost disgusting behavior my brothers ever encounter at a Ulta. We immediately left and will not be returning until this women is under review and removed as a associate at this store and every location she should not be allowed to continue to behave this way and there will be consequences. read more

I went in today with a goal, to get everything i needed on my list && this location is my go to location. every time i go in i always have a such a great experience. every associate i interact with always so kind and helpful from the beginning of the shopping experience to the end of checkout. Today my experience was exceptional. I had help from an associate named Lauren! she helped me execute my list and suggested some great items i did purchase from Benefit to Mac to Lancôme. I valued her feedback and made shopping so fun and easy. I explained i have sensitive skin and she found everything i needed. this is the reason why i keep going back because her customer service was everything to me. at the end of my shopping i checked out and everyone behind the register was fast, fun and friendly. I've been to this ULTA a few times. Everyone is always friendly and attentive. Never pushy, always helpful.

I stopped coming to this Ulta a while back due to racial profiling. Every time I came to this store, I was constantly followed by security or an employee. Once they remodeled the store and changed management, I came back. I wasn't followed anymore and wasn't met with terrible customer service. Well... that didn't last long. I was at the register and Bella was ringing me up. The minute I declined signing up for the store credit card, she gave me the nastiest attitude. I asked if my mom's online order was ready, and she gave me the nastiest look before she went to check. She said it wasn't ready and was very condescending with her tone. The minute you say no to signing up for the credit card, all customer service is thrown out the window. This isn't the first time we've experienced terrible customer service. Aly rang up my mom a few weeks ago, and she was very rude to her. So much for giving this location a second chance. We won't be coming back. read more

This is the BEST Ulta I've ever been to in SUCH a long time! I came in for ear piercing and to browse new products. There were no appointments for piercing, but Allison, the manager, compassionately helped me get an appointment and she helped me find the products I wanted! She also just seems like a kind and caring person, we talked like friends while she helped me get everything I needed. And Missy, from Salon, pierced my ears with ease! She made me super comfortable and made sure I liked the placement of my ear piercings. My ears are healing so well, so she did an amazing job! She was so knowledgeable and funny too! They both made me feel so comfortable and were fun to talk to! The girl at the register, Esther, was also polite and helpful. We gabbed about the new Dime perfume I purchased and she seemed genuinely interested in my products. I walked out so happy with new ilia, new perfume, and cute ear piercings! I don't think the employees here want to work here aside from them chatting loudly and one even bust out laughing so loudly the entire store of customers can hear. They just hangout near the cash register, saying hi without any genuine greeting. Nobody walk around to see if customers need help. Literally they are just at the store to hangout with their coworkers. No one came by to say hi to me personally or to ask if I need help. I'm here only to pick up my order that only this store carry and to wonder a little bit, otherwise I'll just go to my Ulta at Walnut/City of Industry where staff are friendly and helpful, hustle to assist customers. I went in for a Brow Wax through the Benefit Brow Bar and what I got was subpar. Apparently they do not have a brow specialist anymore so they "trained" a stylist to do it. Had I known this, I would not have gone there. Normally the brow service comes with under eye patches, mapping out the shape of the brow, trimming and plucking. I got wax slapped on and am now missing parts of my eyebrow. I asked to speak to the manager about the situation and let them know I shouldn't pay the price for a regular service when I didn't get that. I was given a sorry and $4 off. I feel bad for the girl they are making do the brows. It's not her fault she's not trained. I recommend you go somewhere other than Ulta for your brows. read more

I was able to book last minute with Eric P.the night before Valentine's Day and I'm so glad I did! I love coming to Ulta to get my hair done and then I can do some browsing for new products right after as a self care treat. But Eric was great! This has got to be the worst Ulta I have ever gone to shopping. All the way from the customer service to their products. Do you even care what this store looks like or to have anything in stock at all? The testers are all ran down and expired , it's almost as if they don't want to sell any items . The girls on the floor don't even have common curtesy they just walk around pretending to be busy and when you ask for help they say they will be back only to keep you standing around waiting for someone to help , the rest of your stay will be an odd uncomfortable stare because they're still walking around acting like they don't see you ... Nobody ever knows anything here about anything and did i mention the dirty brushes they use on clients ? My sister got her shade of foundation matched only to break out with a disgusting rash and weird pimple like bumps all over the areas they used their dirty brushes, Font waste your time or money here and beware of their unsanitary products they use on you !!! Hope someone in management/corporate reads this before it leads to something more serious and ends up harming somone because they don't disinfect their brushes used in the customers . It's funny that most of the reviews here are from customers saying that beauty consultants were not on the floor to help them. I had kind of the opposite problem, too much of a good thing. And unfortunately it cost them in potentially gaining more money in sales. I had a coupon I wanted to use, so I went to this location on a Saturday morning when it opened. I needed a brow pencil, and wanted to look for a few other things. The first 5 mins of my being there, I was approached by a beauty consultant who asked if I needed help. I politely told her, no, I was there for an item or two but was just browsing at the moment. Within another 5 minutes period, I had about three other consultants ask if I needed help. It was starting to interrupt my shopping experience, and although I was a bit annoyed, I tried to maintain being polite, as I used to work for Sephora, so I understand this is part of their job...to check on customers and to watch out for any potential theft. As I continued to shop for about another approximately 5-7 minutes, I had another 3 consultants ask me if I needed help, a bag, a color match, etc. At this point, I cannot even look at items because I'm receiving constant interruptions. I told the last beauty consultant I didn't need a bag, as I was on my way out. As I went to the register, something from Fenty caught I my eye and I stopped to look. I was there for about 30 seconds when another woman asked if I was looking for something in particular. By this point, I had only been in the store for about 15 mins and had been approached by like 7 people. I told her no, that I already had multiple people asking me, and that I was leaving. I ended up only getting two items, never using my coupon because I could not even browse to see anything else I might want to pick up, and didn't meet the dollar requirement to use it. I left the store feeling just drained and disappointed. While I appreciated the helpfulness of the employees, there is definitely a fine line between helping and harping on customers. As a former beauty consultant for Sephora, you learn to check on your customers, but also give them their space to shop and browse, staying within close range in case they do ask a question. Based on many of the reviews that are here, perhaps this location had been warned about not appearing helpful, and now they are in overkill. The three stars here are for the cash wrap staff. One young lady (her name said Juliet on the receipt) has helped me before and is always extremely helpful and friendly. I am not suggesting that the employees not check up on their customers, but I am suggesting that they learn how to strike a balance between being helpful, learning how to read their customer's body language and responses, and allowing them space to enjoy their shopping experience. read more

Was not a fan of the female cashier, April I believe. Unfortunately, came in to pick up an online order and redeem a birthday gift and she was not very helpful. I saw on my ULTA APP that I could redeem an item and showed her my app / offer. She did her protocol, told me to bring up my email, however I was not able to locate an email. She offered water... made sure I was comfortable and checked on me while I waited for color to process. Honestly the overall vibe in the salon was positive. My phone was dying and another stylist offered her charger. They're super friendly. Doris is incredibly talented with color and cut. She figured out my color on the first try. We went in at around 8:15pm knowing the store closed at 9 pm and expected nothing less than scoffs and dirty looks from the employees. But it was valid since we were going 45 mins before closing. I was trying to grab the things I needed and get out of there to not inconvenience the employees. And I knew exactly what I wanted. Since it had been a while that I'd gone in it seemed like they moved a few brands around and I couldn't find the Benefit valance. I asked a young employee expecting him to just point it out quickly to me. To my surprise he acknowledged me and said he would walk me over there, as he did he asked if we were looking for anything else and that if we had any questions we could ask him. He never once said they were closing in 18 mins (which was announced over the speakers shortly after), nor did he make us feel like we were an inconvenience. When he said "My pleasure" it really felt like it was his pleasure to help us. His name was Eric, he actually rang us up at the register too and mentioned to me that the product I was looking for was only available online but proceeded to inform me about in store online purchases that could be delivered right to my home. He was an excellent employee and extremely friendly. What solidified my experience was the fact that my boyfriend, who is always reluctant to go to Ulta with me walked out with a smile on his face and said "That employee was super nice!". Came here for in store pick up. Waited in line for the pick up, store was very busy. I get it, it's the holidays. I have my barcode ready when it's my turn and she asks for my ID. I let her know i don't have my ID but i have a picture of it and pull it up. She told me that's not valid and it needs to be my physical ID. I asked why if the photo confirms my name and picture she told me that's not valid. I have picked up serval times before and have not been asked for my ID. Extremely disappointed. I came in last week because I got a gift card for Mother's Day. It was an early Mother's Day gift from my sister-in-law. I came in looking for a few items to try, I usually don't buy retail make up very often to be completely honest. So I was just browsing and I had a positive experience with the young lady that helped me her name was Ashley. But aside from Ashley everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful. This Ulta location is a joke! I have a curbside pickup on a Thursday. All emails reminding me to pick up my online order and the store details on the app stated that curbside pickup is until 7pm. My alternate pick up person got there at 5:44pm. Clicked everything on the email to suggest my alternate person was already there ready to pick it up and it lead me to the app asking for the vehicle's description and parking location. Last screen stated to hang in there and that an associate will be out there shortly. Over 10 mins later still no one came out so I called the store and their recorded message stated their curbside pick up was only until 5pm! You couldn't even speak to a live person because the recording prompt won't recognize any options. Who would know the discrepancy of their business hours if majority of people relied on the email or app??? Btw, no apology from the staff either when my alternate had to go inside and picked up my order. read more
