Was here last Friday, July 11 between 2-2:30pm and the girls that work in there have stank attitudes and make you feel like you are bothering them by asking a question. There was a Hispanic girl at the salon and I asked her about pricing regarding a haircut and she just handed me a guide with prices. Not personable at all, just rude. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have had. I booked a hair appointment from this salon. I received a confirmation text immediately as wells a phone call the same day a few hours later. The next day, when I was on my way to the appointment, I called the Ulta to confirm that the appointment was still on since the appointment started before Ulta officially opened. I was told, don't worry about it and that they would let me in no problem. As soon as I get there, no one answers the door. I had to call the number and stay on hold 10-15 minutes to tell mea that no one from the salon showed up and that there wasn't an appointment in the books for me. I understand that some of this might have been automated. But the phone call was clearly not. How rude! I would have even forgiven them if I would have gotten a phone call back after leaving my number. However, without even a call, I'm really disappointed in this place. Terrible customer service. The last bottle of my hair care stuff was leaking and the girl rly tried charging me for a bag. Like the bottle is leaking you can't give me a bag for free??? Common decency. I had to ask for napkins when my hands were covered in it like obviously you should offer a napkin if someone's hands are covered in something. Horrible customer service on April 19, 2025 at 7:24pm! I ordered the wrong foundation color online during the Ulta sale. Went to exchange the foundation in-person at this location. When I went to do the exchange I was told I owed money because I used points. I was confused because I was doing an exchange of the same product. Why am I being charged? Then, I picked up a Sol de Janeiro lotion from the select sale section of the store with a 10.99 sticker on it. My cashier was Isis & as she checked me out... she asked another girl with no name tag (short, black hair with a black body suit) to update the price in the system. She simply took the sticker off and said none of their Sol De Janeiro products are on sale. I've never had such horrible customer service experience. In my past experiences at other Ulta's, they always honor the prices, especially if it was a mistake on the staff's behalf. I used to enjoy coming in here but not anymore. Isis was great but, whoever was in charge today with no name tag should get training on customer service. read more

They usually have all the products that I want, and if they do not carry a specific brand at their location, they go above and beyond to order it for you and ship to your door at no shipping cost! The staff is usually very knowledgeable but I also do not expect them to know about every single product the store offers, having worked retail in my day, that seems unrealistic. All I wanted was to buy foundation. But while I was trying to find the right color the security guard eventually made it very uncomfortable and I simply left. From reading the reviews I'm definitely not the only one. I thought he was just doing his job at first but then it was very apparent at how restless he was in keeping eyes on me. There were also no employees around to help me pick out the right color foundation for my skin and last but not least there was no make up remover nor applicator for testing it out on skin. Zeinab was super kind & patient in helping my mother and me during checkout. I had a 20% voucher that I wanted to use towards my mom's purchase (she had a perfume & a two pack of mascara) and the coupon's terms of use stated that the 20% was not to be used towards fragrance. Zeinab's response? "We could try it". I was not expecting that at all but it definitely made quite the impression! She was willing to try the coupon and I was super grateful. She tried voiding the coupon but it didn't work, so she had to void the whole transaction. When the transactional void didn't work, she switched registers and finished our check out. Zeinab's demeanor didn't change for a second in the whole process. As stated, the coupon was only applied to the mascaras & not the perfume. I was still appreciative of the fact that Zeinab scanned it. My mom's purchases were gifts & Zeinab was sweet enough to provide a bag and some tissue paper for us in order to complete it. She truly went out of her way in accommodating our needs that we didn't even think of until she offered. Truly amazing. I ended up using my rewards points for my mom's order ($17.50 off) and I used the 20% for my order. Before I begin, can I say that usually, the staff in this branch are very helpful and friendly and I find it a pleasure to shop in this branch and get help and info on products. All it takes is for one bad experience to ruin the good that the majority do. This is my experience of today. I was in the store for 20 minutes and not one staff member approached to see if I needed assistance. I could however, feel staff close by, hovering, watching , in a negative way. I asked a staff member for a tissue to wipe foundation off and was pointed to a station that had no visible tissues. She saw me looking, approached the station and opened a cupboard and directed me to take a tissue from the box. I did, then carried on with my foundation exploration. After trying a few more foundations, I needed to wipe them off my skin and returned to what I thought was the same station and opened the cupboard door to get the tissues. Another member of staff rudely jumped on me from nowhere and told me that 'those tissues were not for customers and I couldn't just open a cupboard!' As she proceeded to scurry off, clearly in a huff at my apparent audacity, I asked her where I could get a tissue from and she ungraciously pointed to 'Over there!' Even if I should not have opened the cupboard door, the better way to approach the situation would have been for the assistant to ask the customer if they were looking for something! When I went to pay for my goods, I told the cashier, who looked like the manager on duty, that I had not had a pleasant experience in store this time. To be honest, her perfunctory 'I'm sorry to hear that,' was so disingenuous, that I left wondering whether I will return to this particular store. For me, this store is in a great location, never busy and there is always parking here which is why I made it my go-to store. On this occasion however, customer service was severely lacking. I live 5 mins away from this ULTA and it was the worst experience I've ever had literally I was followed around the store I am a Hispanic woman that works a good paying job so I buy high end makeup products and I was shopping in the nars, IT cosmetics, etc aisles. So I see this Caucasian woman working at the Mac counter and she legit left her area to follow me and proceeded to stare me down until I picked a product like what??? I was racially profiled and I was the only woman of color in that store and the only one being followed around what a coincidence huh. Do not come here if you actually want to buy something. The 2 people that are actually on the floor (that you have to chase around the store because they're clearly hiding and don't want to work) have no idea what's going on. I go in there and stand in the fragrance section for no less than 15 minutes before I finally went to go find someone for help. I ask for a specific fragrance and include the brand, size and specific version I wanted. The person unenthusiastically says ok, takes a picture of the bottle and says I'll be right back. Comes back with a completely different size and version. I point to the picture SHE took and ask again for the fragrance. She finally comes back with the right one, I go to the register and pay. The cashier hands me my receipt and starts talking to another employee. All while my purchase sits on the counter with no bag. I ask for a bag and the cashier says we only have big ones then turns back to his coworker again as if I'm interrupting some life changing conversation. I say may I have the bag anyway? He rolls his eyes and tosses my perfume in the bag. Last time I was here some big back wrestler security lady followed me the entire time. i have being trying to make a haircut appointment at this location. my first appointment was a couple of days ago but it got canceled and they didn't bother notifying me. i was told after i went in. i then made a new appointment.. which was for today. today i checked in and waited for my hairdresser. after 45 minutes i saw that she was still working on a client. at that point i knew it would take too long and decided to leave. i told one of the workers who apologized and said they only have one hairdresser today and their computers overbooked.. ‍ another worker just walked in from her break and said she could start washing my hair but seeing that the hairdresser was still not done.. i didn't want to sit around with wet hair and i needed to be home in an hour so i left. read more

** BETTER MANAGEMENT NEEDED ** I visited this store to purchase a gift with my wife for Valentine's Day on February, 13, 2020 and from the moment we entered we were followed by 2 store staff members assuming we were going to steal, and they were literally breathing down our backs as we were strolling down the isle looking at the merchandise to decide what to buy. Their behavior was very unprofessional and very uncomfortable, they actually followed us to the register and then observed us pay with cash, then both waited by the exit alarm door sensor to see if the alarms go off. If they feel they need to monitor customers then install cameras around the store and record the daily activity of customers to deter theft and stop making customers uncomfortable to shop. read more
