Ulta, you should probably speak with your lead cashier, Olivia. I was waiting in line to check out and the attitude that she was showing another customer for returning some items was incredibly rude. She would make continuous sighing noises and roll her eyes and every word out of her mouth was dripping with distain. I don't know if she realizes all of us watching her but if she can't handle customer service jobs, she needs to find a new one. This is solely the salon only. My first time going to the salon and I wanted a trim in summer of 2023. This appointment was with Michelle. She was not in the best of mood. I chucked it up as possibly having a bad day until she made tonight comments about me having split ends. Fast-forward to May 2024 because I had just come back from being overseas I needed a haircut again. The only stylist available was Michelle considering I was on a time crunch. I booked her again thinking it won't be the same as last time. People always deserve second chances. Was not friendly. Acted like my appointment was an inconvenience. Needless to say, I will never get my hair done here. This shop has all the products I need to take care of myself, but it does not have the salon staff to make any customer feel welcome. read more

A few days ago I went to Ulta I pulled 6 items from the CLEARLY MARKED CLEARANCE section. I get to the counter their full price. I pay for what I needed and left. I called customer service to address the issue, I spoke with a "store liaison" and another customer service representative. I continue to receive these statements "I do apologize but...." There is NO but when an abundance of items of the same kind are placed in the clearance items section. Then "liaison" tried the sticker bs with me. Look when everything for the season goes on sale do you mark each individual item?...I don't want it for free I want it for the price it had been on sale for since it was in that isle. If management had the foresight to put floor reps at the door to prevent stealing, then you could've had some removing items from the clearance section so customers are not fooled or lied to about the actual price of items. I scheduled an internet appointment with Arlene a few months ago so that my son could have a haircut. When we got there at the appointed time, we were told she was running late, so we would have to wait for 30 to 40 minutes. In order to save clients' time, I enquired as to whether they called clients who had appointments to let them know there would be a delay. After I didn't hear back, we strolled into a barbershop Fast forward to today. They locked their doors until the Tornado warning cleared with customers inside while separating a husband from his wife and children who were inside the store. I walked into Ulta to be told,"I know we locked the doors, but we were directed to," was the statement I heard as I entered Ulta Hair Salon from Michelle. Your appointment is too long for me to see you right now, and I have a color that is meant to be after you! Sorry! Can you come on Saturday at 5:00 pm?" I responded with no thank you because I reserved this appointment over a week ago. To increase revenue, I'm all for helping Hinesville businesses. I attempted Ulta in Hinesville twice, with two distinct stylists. I would only suggest making a reservation with Hinesville Ulta Salon if you want your time to be squandered. The salon does not feel the need to phone clients to let them know that they would be running late or that they will be closing unexpectedly. Hadn't been too Ulta in awhile. I felt like a star as I was walking in the store from the pretty lights to being greeted by the staff. I like that I was able to just browse at my liking. The environment was very pleasant and made for a welcoming experience. read more

I always get my hair done here and I had an appointment that was rescheduled for today (the day before thanksgiving) and when I get there they tell me my appointment was never rescheduled, they completely wasted my time and they didn't do anything to try to rectify their mistakes. Scheduled a hair appt 3 weeks prior and got in to check in, nobody was working the check in desk(not a bother I understand people are busy), then the lady who was supposed to be my stylist asked if we needed help. She asked what we were there for and I said all over color and cut, to which she responded harshly "WHAT color?", i said a warmer brown and she said, "okay fine you guys can go sit down." Didn't ask for any references, no hello absolutely no respect in her tone. Walked out of the appt. Not gonna pay $150 for someone who is gonna pick a random brown to use. I'm sorry. The store is excellent and pretty standard set up! The salon was the main focus of my visit. I was able to book an appointment for the next day with Alexandria. Since it was the first appointment of the day right at opening, she needed a few short minutes to get situated. We did a quick consultation on what I'd like done (just a trim and cleaned up layers) then we began with a wash. Alexandria definitely knows how to give a good scalp massage. She took the time to do that, and not rush. Ultimately, the haircut and blow dry style came out nice, and I would definitely return. The only things I did not like about my visit were minor. The stylists have to answer the phone when it rings, which constantly interrupts the appointment. I wish they'd get a receptionist. And secondly, (this is completely not their fault,) because it's also a store, shoppers were disruptive, and dare I say it.... annoying. There are enough people working on the floor that you don't need to interfere with appointments... don't be that person! Lol! They do have an Ulta credit card and rewards points, and you can get a lot of money off of services if you accumulate enough! read more

I love the store, but the slim is a different story. I went in for a blond baylage and got a brunette one. During the services I mentioned how the "blond" looked orange at my roots Not to mentioned it was chucks undone. The stylist said yeah they will have to schedule you a correction. Please make sure you are aware of the price points before you allow one of the stylists to start. The stylist trimmed a 1/2 inch off my 15 year old daughters hair and charged me $75 for the trim. I am appalled and will not back nor will I recommend their salon services. read more

I'd leave 3.5 stars if possible, so I'll just round up. I went in for hair coloring which involved stripping my hair of color and then putting in the dye. The first time they put the dye in, the hair came out too golden, so we had to put in more dye. I don't mind considering we were trying to go for a specific shade of pink. However, I noticed that they put something in my hair during the process that causes it to tangle LIKE CRAZY. My hair NEVER tangled this bad before getting my hair colored. We also didn't get quite the shade of pink I wanted and sadly as the time has gone by, with the color starting to lighten with my hair, it's actually closer to the color I want now. read more

The stylist gave my daughter exactly what she wanted. Didn't need much done but she was quick and even explain to her about what to do with her hair. Not expensive for what she wanted as well. Called the day of and asked if anything was available within the next hour and they graciously put us in. No complaints! read more

I have very long, natural light ash blonde hair that was only colored once before with a blonde balayage. I asked for a little ash mixed into the blonde and a lighter balayage and to NOT touch my natural hair on top. She dyed my whole head dark grey and gave me a chemical haircut. I came in one night to purchase a few Juvias make up and was told there was none in the back. The next day I called to find out that they restocked what they had left in the back and specifically asked the nice lady on the phone did they get a shipment in this morning and she confirmed they did not. So that means someone lied because they did not want to go look in the back. That is fine but when I called today and mentioned this to Maggie she said " no one lied to me" ok fine but was rude about taking her lazy ass to go see if there was any more product out then hung up.
