My new fave place! I just recently have gotten into make up and I went hoping I could either find a Jefree Star pallet or James Charles Morpe pallet and JC was it. Brought my daughter with me to look what this store has to offer, make up, perfumes, body lotions, and what not. The store is always so clean, have a security on guard (not that he does anything) and so educational. Along with my James Charles Pallet I bought Benefit's brow mascara since my brows are very thin by nature (I am going on a date so I gotta look good). Their products are the latest in the industry and have a variation of types for all women of skin types, color and personal preference. Accompanied my mother to have her eyebrows done on 12/26/25. She didn't have an appointment but the manager put her on schedule since there wasn't a wait. We lingered around the store for 30 minutes or so, saw the tech chatting in the back with a coworker, made eye contact expecting to be greeted and my mother seated for her appointment. The tech didn't budge so we continued walking around a bit more. My mother asked the lady at the register if the tech was on break so we could return a bit later. She said, "no, she already had her break". My mother said "well she's back there, she saw me, ignored us and continued to talk with someone who is not a customer". After more than 45 minutes of waiting on a tech to do her job was more than generous. My mother asked to cancel her appointment because she decided to go elsewhere. I want the manager of this location to know the treatment that my mother, Gloria, received at your location was beyond disrespectful. If your tech doesn't want to work then get her off the clock and send her home. read more

I've held off on reviewing this location because their consistently low ratings already speak for themselves. Each visit has been more of a miss than a hit, with items almost always out of stock. This is now the second time I've driven 20 minutes after calling ahead and speaking with an associate to confirm a product was available, only to arrive and find out they don't have it. The associates won't mention free gifts or promotions unless you specifically remind them or will tell you they don't have it after you've already made the purchase. If you don't have, take the promotion down. Saying hello when you walk through the door is the bare minimum for customer service. There's a clear lack of care for the overall customer experience and the inconvenience of lack of product, knowledge, and empathy causes for people who are literally there for self care. read more

This location is ridiculous. Literally the employee with purple hair had such an attitude even acknowledging customers was such a bother to her. I placed a mobile order and needed to exchange an item I was told I had to get in line to do so and look for the product I needed. I then go and do that. The line was beyond long. Waited 10 min and to be told I couldn't do it and had to come back again tomorrow. Seriously ? My time waisted and you then ask me even drive back here again ? Unfortunately, was not very impressed with this location. I went in to sample perfumes to find a new scent and they were all locked away/inaccessible by patrons. I understand there is likely a very good reason for this, but it makes trying things a bit tedious. I did get an attendant to help me, but it was quite unorganized and they had to really scavenge to find the scents I wanted to sample. The store generally felt very picked over and unorganized, so I decided to just buy my items online from Ulta instead. read more

Her attitude was disrespectful to customers. The staff there and the manager opened and closed the items and made up stories to reduce the value of the product. Decided to try a new salon. I was at salon from 11am-6pm. My hair turned out NOTHING like picture- tone, or placement of highlights/money piece. Stylist dyed my face with hair die (which is still on my face) and soaked the back of my shirt down to my jeans. Stylist showed me my hair and I asked her to fix it- she then made it worse. Awful customer service. On 3 different occasions, spanning several months, I have scheduled hair appointments and been turned away. But this weekend took the cake when I scheduled a cut and all over color for 5:30pm, just to receive a call at 1pm from the scheduled stylist that she would be having to go to the urgent care for an emergency that evening. By definition, emergency is in the moment, isn't it? Instead, she said I needed to go in at that very moment to receive service or reschedule. What's the point of an appointment if these employees can NEVER comply? Really hope your emergency went well. Done with this place and their employee's continued excuses for being lazy. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE WITH DEVITA!!!!!!!! I just had the absolute WORST experience possible at ULTA beauty "salon". My hair is orange and they are trying to charge me to fix their mistake. It all stared when I walked into my appointment and said I had a 12:14 appointment. Everyone looked at me confused like they had no idea what I was talking about. I said it was with devita and she pretended she had no idea who I was and was working on a whole other client, when I literally spoke on the phone, sent her a picture of my hair THE DAY BEFORE. I sat down and waited an HOUR before she saw me. I let her know the day before I needed an early appointment due to me having an event that night. She told me she understood then and would get me in so I was more than happy at the time. Once I finally sat down she told me she had ANOTHER appointment coming that someone "double booked her" so she would be going to that during my appointment as well. I told her that was fine but it was 1:00 and she still had not even started mixing the bleach. NOT TO MENTION she had to ask her associate which developer to use.... and said she should use 20 on the bottom and 10 on my virgin hair which obviously makes no sense considering you do not want the hair to be compromised. The other worker was like "NO I WOULD DO THE OPPOSITE" so at that point I lost all hope. 1:45 rolls around and she barely completed not even 1/4th of my PARTIAL HIGHLIGHT. I was SUPER scared because nearly an hour and 1/2 went by after that and she still had not even checked the first bleached section she did. My hair was already bleached prior so there was NO REASON she should have let it sit that long. Not to mention I continuously asked her to check it and she said "it's fine". She ends up finished with just putting in the foils THREE HOURS LATER...... So I finally asked her to take out the foils so my hair would not fall out. She took them out and went to the back with a bag of whataburger that her client Brought her. I tugged on my BLEACHED HAIR and realised it was getting stringy so I called on another worker to come and fix it since she left me sitting in the chair. The worker said "I'm sorry she should have sprayed it with water so it stops processing" Then went to go get her. She finally went to wash out my hair and while she was pulling out the foils LITERALLY SAID "oh God" which is NOT something you want to hear after someone failed to watch the clock while your hair was being BLEACHED. She said "this side of your head didn't lift at all" UHHHH... DUHHHH maybe because you were so lazy and moved in slow motion while doing my hair.One side sat for 3 hours and the other for 1.... It was so bad my friend next to me was texting me how she could not believe how slow she was going knowing there was bleach in my hair. I was so annoyed, late for my event it was almost 4:30 and she BARELY put the toner in. I ended up having to leave with conditioner, no blow dry or full wash, and called to get this situation handled and Devita answered and basically said it was my fault and I will have to pay if I want it fixed. Terrible, absolutely terrible customer service. Went in today hoping to find my to go to eyeliner and brow pencil--saw that both that I tend to use were out of stock and wanted to ask the associates for some assistance of what they'd recommend as alternatives since I tend to prefer Ulta over Sephora. No one, absolutely no one approached me or asked me if I needed any help, heck as if they were avoiding me purposely. It wasn't even busy at that time of day, there was like 3-4 of them gathered just talking at the front entrance and I saw numerous ones just standing around in the store. I walked around the store trying to find someone for 5 minutes but whenever I approached someone they scampered off. As someone who also works with customers and in the retail setting, that's just UNACCEPTABLE. You're taught to approach/greet customers, heck even read body language whenever someone is obviously needing help and just reassure them that if they need any questions to not hesitate to ask. Yet all the workers there made me feel uneasy, uncomfortable, and just flat out disrespected as a customer that I ended up just leaving completely frustrated. To add salt to injury: I saw associates helping other customers with no issues that so happened to have makeup on. As someone who had just gotten off work from doing an extremely early open shift, and finally had the time to make a run to Ulta of course I'm gonna look haggard compared to everyone else. Ordered curbside pick up. Ordered 3 identical items. Received 2 new and 1 used item labeled "tester". Drove back immediately to return it. They told me the registers were closed (it's only 12pm right now) and that I had to return on a different day to exchange it. Now, I have to hold onto this tester that probably has a million COVID-19 germs on it. They told me they couldn't exchange it b/c these were the last 3 in stock. I would leave a 4 star review because the first young lady that helped me was so patient and kind. She helped me go through all my past receipts in hopes we could find the shade I bought last time for the color pop tinted moisturizer, even though the line was long. We weren't able to find it so she helped me color match. When I went to check out, I was a little slow to pay because I had my 5 month old daughter in my arms. Ahjanna was the young lady to attend me at the register. I felt so disrespected at the fact she kept walking away from me!! I was trying to be as fast as possible but at the same time stay organized. (I was also attending to my baby) and she did not greet me, she did not even look like she cared to be there, and I was trying to be so nice. BUT SHE KEPT WALKING AWAY FROM ME! I think this store has a wide range of products mostly stocked, however I do fine it frustrating when the items that I actually need are never stocked. Recently I came in and was approached by a team member on the floor. She had asked if I needed help looking for something. I specified that I was looking for a lip primer, MAC brand if they had any. I mentioned my lips getting dry and lipstick colors tend to clump up on the edge of my lips through my wear. She said they don't carry that product but she can recommend a different product. I was opened to her suggestion and she made it seem like it was THE BEST THING ON EARTH! I get to check out and it turns out that product was $85. This better be magical! I came home and it had NOTHING TO DO WITH LIPS! The product states it was for fine lines and wrinkles on face and neck. It was Murad brand to be exact. I am only in my mid 20's... how in the world did I get suggested this product, much less how is this relevant to a lip primer! I was furious! I came back the next day and returned it! I can not believe their sales associate would trick me into buying an expensive item like that. While I was there, I went ahead and got another brand of lip primer for only $16. Be careful with Ulta's sales associates! They lie and try to get you to buy ANYTHING! This was not the first time it has happened to me at this location either... got tricked into buying a crap load of Tarte's products! Guess what else?! You gotta buy the brush that is meant for the product as well! Total bs. I came in on 9/12/2022 (today) We got our hair cut at ulta and it's the last time we're going. Paid $54 for 2 hair cuts that Bad. In and out the chair in 15 minutes. The black lady that was there today can't cut hair. I told her a Mohawk and she whispered under her breath, "I don't how to do that" and she went along with it. She faded one side of my hair but didn't for the other side, and she split my hair for the Mohawk. She was already late for work, and she looked like she didn't want to be there. I'm not sure of his name but there was a gentleman who is a Lancôme representative who really took the time to explain various products to me, thanks to him I was able to find the products I needed. He had a very welcomeing attitude. I was doing to some more shopping around and Carolina who works Benefit also showed great customer service, she showed me different products and I ended up selecting some lip products as well as getting a brow service which left my eyebrows look phenomenal the whole day! I had my hair shampooed, conditioned and blow dryed last week. I walked in without an appointment. Daveta was the only hairstylist in the salon at that time and she was finishing up with another client. She was very courteous and explained that she would do my hair as soon as she finished with her client. The client was extremely happy with her hair. While Daveta was shampooing my hair, I asked her if any other hairstylist would be around that day. She said she was the only one that afternoon and that she was doing my hair instead of taking her lunch break. She has the best attitude and is very efficient and a very good hairstylist. How can I explain this review? its going to be very difficult to explain why I am the Duke of this Ulta! Could it be that they carry the most awesome hair care products to keep my manly mane soft? Could it be that they have the best lip balm to keep my lips kiss-ably soft? Could it be that I'm addicted to Strawberry lip balm??? DING DING DING!!! We have a winner. Yes, they carry awesome shampoos and conditioners that keep the hair soft and tangle free, but its the EOS Strawberry lip balm here. Yes, seems strange that I love that stuff (FYI, it tastes 1000x better when kissed off a girl) but still -- it's great. I'm addicted. Now, some of you have been questioning my dukedom at Dress Barn and I can TOTALLY explain that.. but you'll never buy it and it would take ages to explain. Lets just say I like Ulta for the best cosmetics and $7600/lb eye pencils. I can't/wont explain that in this review :) Come here if you like the best cosmetics/shampoo/lip balm. Ulta gets an upgrade! Here's why: if you buy a product and don't like it, they will take it back and give you a full refund. And they won't even give you any crap about it or make you fill out a ridiculously long form. I found out about this gem of a policy a couple of months ago while discussing eye creams with the salesperson (did I mention their salespeople have become more attentive? I don't even have to stand by the door looking shifty anymore). I expressed disappointment with the product I bought as it actually gave me lines I didn't have before and she inquired if I still had the receipt and the packaging. Normally I would have because I am a packrat, but I had just gone on a manic "we have to get rid off all this clutter" jag and had thrown out said packaging. She helped me pick out another product and I bought a new eyeliner for fun. Fast forward one week: the new eyeliner is not working out. It runs. Badly. As in I look like a dirty, racoon-eyed crackwhore by 10 AM because it runs so badly. I take the offensive product and its packaging along with the recipt back to Ulta and within 3 minutes, I have my money back. No fuss, no muss, no dirty crackwhore. Yay! And although they don't have the Inkey List, Paula's Choice or other Sephora exclusives as of now they still offer great variety and seem to offer a lot more hair products than Sephora in store. However they do have COSRX, Bad Habit, and other brands that are ULTA exclusive. read more

NEVER, I repeat, NEVER go to the Ulta salon. if I could give this salon 0 stars, I would. want to hear my Ulta salon horror story?! well keep reading. this is all 100% true. went to book my appointment and the salon was closed but the manager was still able to book an appointment for me. the salon looked professional, and you get 30% off your first visit, and I'm a broke college student so figured, why not just try this place?? I was already weary of going to someone I wasn't familiar with, but my previous hair stylist just got too expensive for me. so I ended up there. my appointment was at 11am with Jill, the SALON MANAGER. was Jill there at 11am? no. 11:30am? nope. SHE DIDN'T SHOW UP UNTIL 1 PM. my friend and I rode together and she had an appt with Maria at 12, so I stuck around and waited with her. they told me it was a "schedule mixup" and that she was 30 mins away when I first got there. well, Jill didn't get there until 1pm. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. who doesn't show up for their clientele??? and when she got there, she didn't even apologize to me or acknowledge the fact she had stood me up for my appointment. NO ONE BOOK AN APPT WITH JILL, she needs to be fired!!!!!!!!!! salon manager?! WHAT A JOKE. because Jill never showed up to do my hair, and I wanted my hair done before Christmas Eve (which is in 2 days), I let Maria do my hair after she was done with my friend's hair, as she was the only one available. after 2 hours, someone was finally able to do my hair. Maria, the lady who did my hair, was very sweet. She was older (she said she was 55), and she looked like she knew what she was doing, so I gave her a try. she did her job, and did what I asked for, which was blonde balayage. she needs to go work at a different salon, because she is good but the hair products they used were not impressive at all, and the salon overall is not a good place. she has potential but not with the cheap and unprofessional products that Ulta salon supplies. but, WATCH OUT BECAUSE THEY WILL SCAM YOU. they went to wash my hair, as usual, and starting putting a glaze on it to tone the color. the thing they did NOT tell me though, was that the glaze was $60. SIXTY DOLLARS. they never told me the price or asked me if they could put it on my hair, and never told me that I would be charged for it. I didn't even think I needed it. they just put it on my hair and then charged me for it. I would NOT have let them done that if I had known that they would charge me $60 for it. they didn't even ask, they just put it on my hair. if I had denied it, it would have been too late anyways because she put it on my hair FIRST and THEN proceeded to tell me it was a color correcting glaze. she did this AGAIN with a "protein shot" for my hair, which again, she didn't ask me if I wanted it and never told me the price of it. as she was washing my hair, she put it on and goes "this is a protein shot, your hair definitely needs it". little did I know, she actually put TWO in my hair, and I ended up being charged $20 for this ($10 a shot). again, she never told me the price of it or even told me that I would be charged for it. would not have gotten it if she would have asked. the $80 in hair treatments (the glaze and protein shots) didn't do SH!T to my hair. my hair felt like horse hair after she blow dried and straightened it because of the blonde. I have been blonde for many years now and I know that bleach causes damage. but never has it damaged my hair THAT much. and needless to say, $80 in hair treatments didn't do jack squat to help fix the damage or color or anything. my hair would have turned out better if I used my Biolage deep conditioner balm and Macadamia brand hair mask I normally use at home. so they basically ROBBED me of my money. and I was there for LITERALLY 4.5 HOURS. and the 30% coupon Ulta members get for their first salon visit only applies to the actual service. So my bill looked like this: highlights - $180, which was the only thing they applied the discount to, so it was actually $126. glaze - $60 (no discount applied) protein shots - $20 (no discount applied) grand total: $196. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. never will I ever go to an Ulta salon ever again, and I will never branch out from the lady who has been doing my hair for the past 4 years (Gloria at Vasage Salon on Louetta) because she is amazing, professional, and worth the money. I usually spend $90 there for highlights, before tip. if you made it down to reading this far into the review, just remember to NOT GO TO THIS SALON OR ANY ULTA SALON EVER EVER EVER. read more
