I have been to this store 3 times now. The employees are probably the nicest, helpful and more patient people you can find. The manager, whose name I cannot recall, he's great! They really make you feel comfortable asking questions. Having said that, the shelves are pretty much empty when it comes to the new things they are launching and I hate that but, I have also noticed there's usually only 2 people there at night, both at the cashier because the lines after 5-6 pm are huge so I don't think it their fault, the store is understaffed. I'm making this my "home" location because employees couldn't be nicer and there's a lot of good spots around the mall but definitely need to work on restock. read more

She did a dream come true hair makeover for my 65 birthday with tape in extensions that I am totally obsessed with and it has been 3hrs. My husband is totally shocked and loves them. My daughter says I look younger...yay! But Stacey knows exactly what she is doing and is constantly checking and double checking an asking if I am ok. Our experience was made wonderful by the caring staff members. Stacey and Jennifer both were so patient knowledgeable and kind when it came to navigating such a sensitive situation. They went out of their way to help us out, going to the lengths of shifting schedules to get us an appointment. Most of it was sold out and there were barely any available to test.....men like to shop too yall. I've never had an experience like that going to Sephora or even Macys. 1/12/22 This was such a CLASSIC Ulta experience. Why do I keep shopping here? Didn't want to shop in store bc of germs etc so I placed an online order to pick up in store at 5:15pm 1/12. Drove to the Ulta plaza around 6pm for some curbside pickup at the pet store. Then parked in the curbside pickup spot for Ulta. Got a text at 6:52pm that my order was ready so I immediately called the store to let them know I was there. Associate said curbside ends at 5pm so I said ok, and walked the 9 steps the doorway. At this point, a second associate starts locking the door. I offer a visibly confused look. A third associate responds by yelling through the glass(?!) that the store opens at 10am the following day. I hold up my phone and explain I got a text from them just now and I just want to grab my stuff. She says "I don't control the text messages." Now a minimum of 3 associates are just staring at me blankly through the window. Associate #2 opens the doors and says they close at 7. I tell her I just want my stuff please. I bought it, I drove here, they say it is ready, can I please have my $100 worth of stuff? She says I will have to come back tomorrow. I point out that she and I are standing here in the entrance of Ulta right now, the same Ulta which has the stuff that I bought and that I came here to get. Her explanation, to what I'm still not sure, was "It's corporate policy." It's now 7:04pm. Ulta associate #2 locks the doors and I go back to my car bewildered and without any of the goods I have purchased that they told me were ready to be picked up. read more

Went in once again last night to buy some product. Again, sales people walking around...no one offering assistance. Bought a gift card and when I was checking out I used a 20% off coupon on my entire purchase. I told the woman I wanted a gift card would the 20% be taken off. She said "oh absolutely." Like a dope I didn't check my receipt until I got home. She didn't take 20% off the gift card. Why is it that the associates don't know this one very basic thing? I always, almost without exception, get poor service at this location. The employees are lackadaisical at best, downright hostile at worst. Ulta in general seems to be a poor excuse for a Sephora. Their coupons don't work on "prestige brands" which isn't luxury or designer brands like one would expect. To them, prestige is literally everything in the store except for drugstore items. I could get those items from an actual drugstore with a much better coupon so why would I bother? Really hoping we get a Sephora in this area soon so I'm never tempted to give business to this store when I run out of something and need a quick replacement. read more

I was just in this location and was really struggling to find something. I know my confusion showed on my face, but several sales associates looked right at me, blank faced, and then walked away to help other customers, suddenly 100% friendlier. Nobody said hello or asked me if I needed help. I had to seek someone out, a very friendly gentleman from the salon, who was able to help me. I felt it was hard to find what I was looking for and navigate through the store. (Nail polish is in 2 spots, shower gel is in 2 spots, etc.) Did not like the body scrub scent selection. Impressive selection of straighteners, blow dryers and curling irons (several aisles worth!) Some items seemed to be a little bit more expensive than Walgreens. I spent $150.34 in this store on Monday, December 17. The clerk asked me for my phone number before she would ring up the merchandise. I declined to give my number. I feel it is an invasion of my privacy. Why do you need my phone number so you can take my cash? She told me that was OK, but none of the merchandise I was buying would be returnable unless I was a "registered" customer. I did continue with my purchase as many of the items were gifts. This is a review specifically for Despina; the aesthetician in the salon. She is amazing! I know most people go to Ulta's Brow bar to get their brows done but if you truly want an expert aesthetician to do them - she's the person! I don't know what she does but I can go 4-5 weeks between waxing when she does my brows. With anyone else it is 2-3 weeks. Also she gives an amazing facial using the Dermatogical line. She is a perfectionist. She will tell you all about your skins elasticity, hydration, pigmentation, and never pushes products. I'm in love with this sweet Greek woman. I don't think I'd trust my skin to anyone else. I'm glad I stumbled upon her in a chain beauty supply store of all places. I'd follow her if she left to go a high end spa. She's fabulous!! read more

Sent my daughter in here to get two braids in her hair. She asked the cost for two braids which the stylist said she could not tell her until she inspected her hair. then the stylist braided her hair while talking with my daughter constantly. At the end she handed my daughter a bill for $52 for two braids. I can't believe it cost that much for two braids. I could get a full wash, cut and blow dry with tip included for that price. The main page should have 4 or 5 dollar signs on it. We won't be back here. read more

I have to my recollection never written a negative review on yelp. Please avoid this Ulta hair salon at all cost. They booked over my appointment. Meaning I had an appointment at 3pm and they decided to give in to someone else, which is not cool, did not apologize and told me as I walked in at 3pm. Meanwhile, my daughter is getting here hair bleached, they did successfully keep her appointment. I asked for a time to pick her up they said 4pm, I call daughter at 4pm and she asked the hair dresser who said it was time to co w get her. I go in and wait 30 more minutes with no apology again. Then after asking the manager how to avoid the issue in future they didn't apologize and said: human error happens. Then charged me a whooping $60 over the highest estimate. I guess leaving bleach on my daughters scalp and it burning in the car on the way home was more "human error". I just wanted an apology and respect of my time, nor burning my daughters scalp with bleach would have e been a nice touch as well. I guess I'm asking too much. I gave this place 2 stars because we use to shop for make-up here and it always was a super nice experience. The make-up people are fantastic. Hair Salon not experienced, lack of manners and completely incompetent. Leaving bleach in a child's scalp? Really, and the bleach job was horrible. This location is brand new and the customer service is atrocious. I was in there for over an hour and wasnt asked if I needed help once. I had to ask for help twice and the woman at checkout said "I don't know," to all my questions. The atmosphere was a bit confusing and very difficult to find what I needed, which is why I was there so long and had to ask questions. This is for the hair salon. I've used the Ulta salon before in a different state and had wonderful service. I had always been happy with my hair. At this location, my hair was completely butchered. I've used the same picture of what I want for my hair for at least the past 3 years and everyone always gets it close or right on.....it's a basic cut, not hard or complicated. Not this time. I was absolutely embarrassed to leave the store after I saw my hair. I was never shown the back of my hair after she cut it and it was cut while my hair was completely dry. With my frizzy hair, that is always a bad idea. I came home and my husband immediately commented on how bad of a job the person had done. Nothing was even and it just looked terrible in general. I don't expect Ulta to be a luxury salon, but I do expect their stylist to be able to cut hair. I honestly feel that someone at Super Cuts would have done a better job. I am very upset because now it is extremely short and will be hard to fix. I also have to spend extra money to get it fixed. I would definitely not get my hair cut here again and would advise anyone else to just search Groupon or find somewhere else. read more

NEVER GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE!!! I had spent over a year growing out my eyebrows and called to schedule an appointment with a "brow expert" for a tweeze. I specifically told them I could not get waxed because of my acne medication and the reaction my skin would have. Right before she was about to start, I reminded my alleged "brow expert" that I was getting tweezed and she said she had no idea and was going to wax me. We went over the specific lines she was going to take and I told her my number one concern was keeping as much of my brow as possible. Needless to say she ignored EVERYTHING, did the OPPOSITE of what we discussed and completed butchered my brows. Come to find out she wasn't their brow expert but a hair stylist!! When the salon manager called me, I simply asked for a refund out of the sheer principle and she told me I could only get a store credit. HORRIBLE. 10/10 will never use the salon services here.
