Of course, nice to use the Ulta points for purchases, too. Everything in the store is really nicely organized and stocked with a few items low or out of stock and some discontinued but that seems normal. The team here is helpful from every angle. A new male team member there really went above and beyond to help us. It was appreciated. This review is on the Salon experience. I needed my makeup done for a wedding and experience was amazing! Price: $70 Full Glam (Worth it for a big event) and $50 for everyday makeup which I also think is worth it if you are going to something where you are a guest or just want to feel hella pretty. Appointment: I booked super last minute and they were able to squeeze me AND my partner in! Vibes: SO HIGH! The color match lady was AMAZING. she matched my skin shade exaaactly. Our makeup artist, Evyn, was also so sweet. I went for a final reveal approach because people told me id look WILD before it all came together and laaawd did it come together, girl! Add On: a little girl was throwing a glam birthday party in-store while I was there and it was tooooo cute. I recommend! I gave them 10 minutes but of course it took longer and I had to leave and I have a very busy schedule. To top it off they have nowhere to sit. My daughter also got her ears pierced and the girl who pierced them was really nervous she dint do the dots even so I had to dot them and she must have been so nervous she didn't do it on the dot was a little off. I stopped in looking for some blue eyeliner for.my daughters upcoming nuptials. I was amazed by the customer service. First a salesperson saw me struggling with the door and assisted me.... im on a scooter.... everyone asked if I needed help. One associate Maddisson was so sweet and nice. She gave me a free eyebrow trim.... and talked to me friendly and she even put free under eye patches on me. All in all was a great experience. read more

I've had nothing but awful experiences at this Ulta. I've gone in three separate times, each time hoping to find a product only to discover the stock is never accurate. They say something is in stock, but it's not. The staff, especially the older women, are extremely rude and unhelpful. They seem judgmental and just don't care about customer service. This Ulta seriously needs a complete reevaluation. I won't be coming back. read more

I went into Ulta today looking for help with lip products, and unfortunately the customer service experience was disappointing. The store was not very busy, and while I was helped briefly at first, after that it was extremely difficult to find anyone available on the floor. One employee was assisting another customer, which I understand, but I felt completely ignored afterward and like no one was interested in helping me further. Shopping for makeup, can require guidance with shades and recommendations, so it was frustrating to feel dismissed and left wandering around trying to figure things out on my own. I usually enjoy shopping here, which made this experience more disappointing. I hope management works on floor coverage and customer attentiveness because it really impacts the experience. read more

Terrible service! They ruined my hair, and the customer service is awful! No one wanted to take responsibility; the manager simply ignored the mistake! I do not recommend them! I went in for highlights and left with hair that looked terrible and damaged! Now I have to spend more money on products to fix it. I was greeted when I walked in and began to browse although I had an idea of what I wanted to buy. The store is always clean and organized and wasn't too busy in a weekday, late morning/early afternoon. I was shopping for a couple of cosmetics. I needed help between some shades of foundation, and decided to get some assistance. I was helped by I believe her name is Candace. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, she really helped me get the correct shades for my skin coloring. I wanted to get a MAC product I had previously bought, but they changed the numbering so she checked with someone who she said was more of the MAC expert and we got the correct one. She applied the MAC on me as well as the Fenty item (I had already researched that I wanted) and I also ended up buying. She took the time to try on different shades of both products that were close to being the "right" one. She even ended up asking another employees opinion when her and I were borderline. I felt really comfortable with what I bought. She's a Kate Somerville Rep, I guess that is what they are called? Anyway, she asked if I wanted to try a Kate exfoliating product on my face. I liked everything about it. I ended up buying a set with a mini/travel size, and two other mini products which I am really enjoying. I didn't feel she was pushing me to buy anything, just letting me try it and let me decide which is always appreciated. She made my shopping experience a fabulous one! The cashier was super friendly. I love having an Ulta near me but this location is hot or miss on popular or "viral" type items & products. Getting help from store associates is also hit or miss & at times they seem irritated when you ask for help. I needed assistance figuring out my color with Tarte Shape Tape concealer - i usually have no problem but there are so much different colors it was very overwhelming for me. The associate showed me 3 different colors that she thought would match me but didnt bother applying it on my skin to test - she basically told me that it was "up to me which one i want". (?) I frequently shop here, I love all their coupons they offer, especially when you spend more, you get better offers than regular members, if you signed up for their rewards program. Ulta has a lot of great top of the line products and fragrances, I just don't understand why they open at 11 on Sunday during the holiday season, especially when every other store in this shopping center opens at 9-10 am. Other than their hours during the holidays, I enjoy shopping here better than Sephora, I feel they have better prices and majority of the same products. Three failed visits, one incredible stylist--and an absolute disaster of a management team. I've never had a more frustrating and drawn-out experience just trying to get my hair done. I had to come to Ulta four times to get what should have been a straightforward color appointment. Three times I showed up, and each time I was told they didn't have my color--after I had already arrived and checked in. No phone calls, no heads-up, just wasted time and a growing sense of anxiety and embarrassment over the state of my hair. Let's be honest here: this was for Jet Black--a standard, widely used color. A simple Jet Black service should have never turned into this kind of mess. The only reason I returned for a fourth visit was because of Byron--a stylist who actually listened, cared, and made me feel like someone was finally taking this seriously. And guess what? He killed it. My hair looks amazing. He did exactly what he said he was going to do, and I can't thank him enough for saving what had been a complete disaster up to that point. But let's talk about the management, because they are a complete joke. * During one visit, I had to wait outside in 100-degree Vegas heat for over 10 minutes because they scheduled me for 11 a.m.--the same time the store opens. As someone who's used to being early for appointments, sitting in the blazing sun is not acceptable. Either learn to schedule appointments properly or let the stylists handle their own bookings, because it's clear Ulta management has no clue what they're doing. * At my final visit, Byron had to search for a processing cap--because the salon had NONE. Thankfully, he had one in his own personal kit They also didn't have color removal wipes to clean my forehead and sides. I had color staining my skin, and the basic tools to fix it weren't even available. Luckily Byron figured out a way! How is this acceptable in a professional salon? * And then there's the so-called "solution" from management: a 20% discount. That's it. After three failed appointments, wasted gas, wasted time, and serious stress, that's all I was offered. If I were a white woman, I strongly believe this situation would've been handled differently. The dismissive attitudes I received from Cinthia and Claudia made it feel like my time and concerns didn't matter. The conditions the stylists have to work under are honestly shocking. No support, no supplies, no structure. And yet, Byron made it work--because he brought his own tools, his own professionalism, and his own heart. Not all heroes wear capes, but these stylists do--or at least, they should. Byron deserves to be in a much better salon. He's skilled, patient, respectful, and prepared. I will be following him wherever he goes, because he is the ONLY reason I gave Ulta another chance. He turned a disaster into something beautiful. If you're thinking of booking here, ask for Byron--and be prepared to deal with some of the worst management you'll ever encounter. read more

i do not leave reviews but the ladies that work here are MISERABLEEEEEEEE!!!! i had a tinsel appointment today at 2:30 and yesterday i noticed the appointment time was changed and i never confirmed a time change. i called right after to see what happened and the lady on the phone was so rude and snappy and was like "yeah well i tried to call you" she called 2 mins prior to me calling back! i didn't end up going today because i don't give service to rude people! but my friend went in today to get hers and the lady that was doing hers said she could only do THREE PIECES in 15 minutes?? our other friend lives on the other side of town and got her tinsel done at a different ulta and they did 15 pieces for $15 so she showed the lady and asked how many pieces that was and the lady goes "how should I know?" maybe because it's your job? my friend ended up walking out because she was genuinely so appalled by how disrespectful the workers are. how are you only able to do three pieces in 15 minutes, are you still training? that's insane! i will never book another appointment at this location, so rude and unprofessional. if this is how the ladies that work there treat customers id hate to see how they treat other employees! read more

Came in here on 3/6 for a make up appointment. My appointment was with Christine Miller. I was getting a "formal make up application" for a wedding I was attending. She did so bad I was shaking and almost in tears. She had me looking like a clown.. eye liner all over the under part of my eye crooked, over lined my lips almost to my chin even more crooked and applied lipstick all crazy. I had to get up mid application and run over to Jen (who's amazing btw) and tell her to grab a manager or someone else. I was already on a time crunch and when the manager walked up she couldn't believe that that's how I looked and Christine literally thought it was good and was gonna leave me like that.. it is actually scary honestly. I'm not quite sure if she was that out of touch but it's hard to believe she is "qualified" and does that for a living with how she had me.. I wish I had taken pictures but imagine a 3 year old applying makeup to your face and that's how I looked. The manager got me someone else, a Colombian girl she was amazing I just didn't get her name cause I was so disheveled.. I was late to the wedding but the make up did come out great after the second artist fixed it. This was my first experience and it will be my last. I appreciate the management for taking this situation and rectifying it, they didn't gaslight me or stand behind Christine.. they saw how horrible she left me and I felt supported and for that I'm grateful. read more

I had the most unprofessional experience today in Ulta! I was standing at the front of the store looking at a new Balmain perfume, I put it in the handheld basket and was about to spray the sample. The display is by the exit metal detector, it went off bc I was standing close. I caught eyes with an employee (dark curly hair), and I looked back at what I was doing. This very rude employee literally ran to me, grabbed the Balmain out of my basket, and while running away said "we will just keep this up front for you"! Never asked my name for keeping the perfume, never asked if I needed any help, just profiled me and assumed I was going to run out of the store or something! I was so surprised! Just in case you are reading this, I am a platinum member and frequent Ulta. I don't need to steal a $100 perfume. Please retrain this employee regarding professionalism and being less judgmental. read more

Always love this store. The staff is very helpful and they don't bother you every five seconds. When I need a color match or fragrance, the consultants are there and patient because I am super picky. I often bring my seven year old daughter with me and a staff member applied lipstick for her. We also bout a lip gloss for her and didn't realize it was a spicy lip plumper. Hair product at an unfamiliar place. The store is clean. It smells good. There is not enough attendance for the number of customers in line, but everyone looks like they're content with the wait. I have a gift card so I came into the store to buy hair product for my son however the things in my basket or only available online . The attendant Dominique without hesitation gave recommendations in place of my previously researched items and I feel like they are an excellent substitute.! The line moved pretty quickly. The cashier Tiffeny that called me down was low-key new to Customer Care. I handed her my Ulta gift card and she looks at it, but didn't touch it then slid it back to me on the counter and told me to enter the pin at the kiosk in front of me.. during while I entered the pin, she proceeded to bag my items and put them on the counter on the other side of both of us versus handing them to me. This gesture is mildly irritating for me because in customer service I truly believe the bag should be handed to the customer.... read more
