My hair has been long overdue for a haircut/new style. I was really holding off for a while because I was hesitant to cut my hair but. .New year, New hair. Lol. I was given a gift certificate to use and I was finally able to put it to use last week Thursday. I was referred to hairstylist Tammy Blackwell. She did such an awesome job and gave me exactly what I wanted. Great personality, very patient and kind, and she knows what she's doing. She was able to accomodate to my schedule and took me in last minute and was always promptly returned my phone calls. The location was a bit confusing. It's mixed in with a bunch of other corporate offices. There are also two locations within the same complex so it may get a tad bit confusing. I would definitely recommend her and I will be returning for another visit, hopefully in the near future if I don't procrastinate. Lol. read more

I got Desiree Kathmann's number through a Co-worker who has been going to her for like 10 years. I have known said co-worker for 5 years and her hair has always looked good, so I finally was able to have my hair done for mother's day so I asked if her hair dresser was accepting new client's. I made an appointment and was scheduled about 4 days out and had made a late afternoon appt like for 3pm. The night before my appt I get a text from Desiree asking if we can change the day or if I could come in earlier on same day because her son has a Dr's appt which she totally forgot about. Sure, no problem I'm a mom. Anyhow I kept same day just moved it up to 11am that morning. The salon was pretty neat-o and I really liked how it looked on the inside and it was huge! Disiree had a really cute room and it was set up nice. So, we go to her booth and we bs a bit then she asks what I have in mind for my hair. STOP btw I have left out that we have texted back and fourth prior to my appt. I texted pics of what I wanted to do and had asked prices and what not, which I never got a price just she didn't know cuz she would need to look at my hair. Cool. Back to being in her booth and talking about my hair, so I said I would like some blonde highlights and reds and caramels. At that time I asked how much she said $150. A bit more than I wanted to spend that day, wanted to keep it at a $100 plus tip. So when that was discussed she said she could do the blonde highlights all over. Cool. I said I'd come back for color later. Mind you I did not get a trim or style just some color. Anyhow after my hair was done it was ok, like I really didn't love it. I did not say anything at that time , just thought I'd go home and mess with it and style it. Still I did not like it, it looked brassy/yellow. I paid $95 plus $20 tip. I texted her 2 days after having my hair done with her and explained how it looked brassy and I just was not digging my hair. She did reply a few days later and said that she could get me in that she was out of town and would get back to me after looking at her schedule. Cool. So like 2 days later she texted and told me what days would work and at that time I texted back and ask how much to fix my hair? She never did reply with a cost. Just times and days that worked for her. Not once did she offer to fix my hair. I get I'd have to pay for added color but I just wanted the blonde to look blonde. After feeling totally ignored I went some where else and had my blonde fixed. I then texted her that I do so and Nada from her. I just was not a happy client and felt I didn't ask for much. read more

Nicole Henry is so sweet I am so lucky to have met her. I am not the girliest girl by any means but Nicole has helped and guided me through my conquest to get exceptional hair!! I had dyed a few pieces of blonde mostly tucked away under my darker locks for several years and never really exploded dying my hair much more... Nicole suggested I try out an ombré! Holy cow I have never received so many compliments on my hair probably within my whole 27 years on this planet. This is no exaggeration people!! I went from drab to fab within an hour and I am so excited and pleased to do my hair on the daily because of this woman! She also suggested shampoos and hair products so I could keep on styling and profiling. Book an appointment with her you won't regret it! I have been attending the Salon @ 2490 Paseo Verde Parkway in Henderson NV for 2 years now to get hair done. My stylist, Natalie is superb &, actually is an artist. She is concerned with hair health & general well being & it is exemplified in her work!!! She is an excellent listener & confidant. I've told her on several occasions that she is my "curbside psychologist" & doesn't get paid enough for what he does. I'm constantly receiving compliments on my hairstyles & it's ALL because of Natalie. I recommend her to everyone who is looking for an experience like none other. If you want to get your nails done for an expensive price I would suggest Rhonda. Nail work is nice but she can be extremely nasty to her clients. She will shoot the bull with you and then talk behind your back. Her skills are good but her customer service stinks. BEWARE read more

I went into this spa giving a gift to my daughter. I got her nails done and I had a pedicure. It was super close to where I lived and that's the main reason we checked it out. I've been going there since and this was 3 years ago. I go to see my favorite person Rose. I love her to death, she's genuinely kind and very personable. She leaves me text messages on special occasions and she gives me discounts on my birthday every year. That's not the only reason why I love her to death, she does a great job on my face. She's pretty pricey but she's well worth it. As she says you pay for what you get. I cheated on her and I told her that I bought a groupon for a different spa because it was cheaper. After one treatment at the other spa I got my money back and went straight back to Rose. I get a microdermabrasion done every time I see her and I won't lie, it hurts like hell but you know the saying, no pain no gain. My face feels like a babies bottom a week later and I look younger by 10 years just by going to her. She knows that I have a busy schedule and she pencils me in whenever I need her. The best part about her is that she's honest to her customers, she'll tell you straight up what you need done. This has been her passion for years and it has never been about the money.
