I have been coming to this Ulta for about a year now for weekly hair blowouts. All of the hair stylists are friendly, detail oriented, and accommodating. I especially love the work of Van, who I usually book with. She recently did my haircut as well and did a wonderful job. My hair is very thick and curly, but Van knows how to handle it like a pro. I always feel rejuvenated after my appointments at this Ulta Salon and have formed great connections with the hair stylists. Just did a happy return at this Ulta and the lady that I can't even say greeted me cause all I got was "happy return" with a look and a sigh while she looks around like she is waiting for someone to help her. Then she proceeds to grab her scanner and starts typing all while I'm there just standing ready with my QR code. Not once did she say "I can help you let me just log in" I did get confrontational and asked her if she was going to help because she was just staring at her scanner like I was suppose to know that she's logging in. I literally stood there almost 1 1/2 with no response on my lunch break. Let me know if you can or cannot I don't mind going else where or waiting for someone to help. I just don't want to play the guessing game. She proceeds to say yes which I say " you seem like you don't want to help me" with her response "but I am helping you" in a very snotty attitude. From the beginning she had a very rude demeanor and attitude since she saw me walking up to the store with 2 bags in my hand. (Sorry if my return bothers you). Before she scanned my QR code she didn't even say anything just looked at me with the scanner in her hand. If you work costumer services maybe it would be best to work with the costumer and inform them on the next step rather than giving them a blank stare and expect them to know your every move. I didn't get her name but she was wearing a striped sweater on 9/21/26 and this was approximately around 12:11. There was another costumer waiting to be checked out so I know someone got a receipt with her name. Overall the costumer services at this location is why I like to go there never had a rude experience. A lesson in costumer service is definitely something this individual needs. I usually don't leave reviews, but this experience at Ulta was frustrating. I specifically asked for a certain item, and the employee gave me the wrong product without showing or confirming it with me. I didn't realize until I got home. When I came back to exchange it, I was told I had to pay a $3 difference because I had used points the day before -- even though the mistake was made by the store, not me. After explaining that I shouldn't have to pay for their error, they finally fixed it, but the exchange process took around 30 minutes. Mistakes happen, but getting the wrong item, being asked to pay extra for the store's mistake, and then spending 30 minutes fixing it made this a very disappointing experience. Hannah is very professional, easy to talk to, listens to what I want and also gives her professional advice. I had no idea what was wrong with my hair. Hannah was extremely kind and helpful when I came in with a treatment on and a hat over it. It turns out it was hard water buildup- causing tangles, matting, and hair stuck to my head in all the residue. It took a long time to figure out. Obviously very upsetting but Hannah made me feel a million times better with a great treatment, shampoo and blow dry and product recommendations. Wow! This ULTA is now my favorite of all. Especially at the salon, I had my hair done for my bridal shower and let me tell you Van did an amazing job! She surpassed my expectations. I go to this Ulta specifically for Alex at the Salon (I live 30 min away), so it's safe to say I'm officially obsessed with her. Not only does she do amazing work, but she is such a genuine and kind soul. You can tell she loves what she does, and takes pride in doing a fantastic job every single time. I have genuinely never left her chair unhappy. My natural hair is dark brown, so of course, I want to be a cool blonde (iykyk). I typically get a partial or full set of highlights, and Alex knocks it out of the park every single time. My hair is very important to me, so it's not an exaggeration to say I trust Alex with my life. She's done more for my mental health than the past 4 years of therapy. Also, for my girlies with social anxiety, she's the one to go to. If you don't feel like talking, she doesn't force the conversation. Yay I'm glad it's close to home and they have plenty of parking and I can avoid the chaotic malls, but when they hardly carry the items I need it's pretty much pointless. Customer service: The lady that helped me didn't seems to really put any effort to assist. I also feel that they only approach specific clients they feel will spend money. I guess I look like a high schooler that I'm not deserving of any assistance. This is not only one occasion, but multiple times. Overall, customer service is lacking and the products that I need are either always out or have been discontinued. I ended up purchasing what I needed online instead. Main reason I went to the store was for one of their beauty steal products. Found it, added it to my basket and continued shopping. Once I was done, I went to the register to checkout. The cashier didn't say much other than ask for my phone number for member rewards. Again, the customer service department is nonexistent. I came home and reviewed my receipt only to realize that the beauty steal had rung up full prize. I called the store to make them aware of the error and a guy answered and said to bring it back to the store with the receipt and they'll consider providing me a price adjustment . I usually walk into Ulta Beauty very overwhelmed by 1.all of the products and 2. the staff. Although I actually had a very positive and uplifting experience at this store. I was helped by a woman named Ronda. She was the sweetest and most genuine woman and was so helpful. It was great because the staff seemed very attentive and focused in Ulta. Had a terrible experience in this store and I have loved Ulta in the past. Went in to get one of their beauty steals and was told they would not honor the online price. I asked if I could purchase them online to pick up in store and just pick them up right then since they had the product in store. They said no I would wait one hour and come back. The store was empty I asked for the manager to see if they could just make an exception. So then she says you can ship it to your house for free? Why would I want to buy in the store and ship it to my house when I'm standing in the store what a waste? Then she asked me to have them order it for me so they could get the store credit and I told her no way I'm ordering it online having it shipped directly to my house.
