Ultimate Buffet is a clean and satisfactory buffet that serves up a good variety of American and Asian cuisine. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating when it came to clearing out our plates and refilling our drinks. The four star rating was due to the ice cream being out of order and the food being par with other buffets. Other than that, I would say for the price it is well worth it. Our family continues to frequent this place when we have family from out of time visiting that want to experience a local buffet.

This is about the ultimate an Asian buffet could be!! So many options. Many of which didn't get touched after more than an hour. There wasn't many complaints. The steak was tasty but a bit chewy. The sweet & sour chicken was over fried. No General Taos. Highlights were the awesome pepper chicken, the perfect Chinese donuts, fruit was good & salad bar was huge. Surprised the ice cream was actually good. So many American items that looked good but got skipped. They got something for everyone. Servers were on the spot w/ refills & plates. Id give 4.5 if I could.

Ppls was looking at me weird for sticking my chicken in here lol

Good food. Big variety of selections. Free Ice Cream cones. Efficient wait staff. No ambiance (Who cares)! $14 for adult lunch.

The salad bar has about everything you could wish and the Brazilian lemonades are top notch. Passion fruit and raspberry are my personal favorites. This is one of our go to stops in Colorado Springs and in the past we've attended their chefs night, where we got to try delicacies from different regions, which was a lot of fun. Wheelchair accessibility: in general this restaurant is actually very accessible. The front doors are heavy and there's a double door set up but plenty of room between the two doors to navigate. The front desk is very high so someone in a shorter chair or short statured might have a harder time getting someone's attention. The door to the bathroom is very light and there's an accessible stall, but the soap in the bathroom is out of reach. The largest impediment to your culinary experience would probably be that the salad bar counter is too high for an average wheelchair user or little person. I'm sure the staff would help or you could have somebody in your party assist, but it would be difficult to navigate on your own. There are several accessible parking spots.

They have a very nice salad bar, with side dishes to go along with the meat. We love Brazilian barbecues, and I've been going to them for almost all of my adult life. The problem with this place, at least for us, is that they hardly brought us any beef. We were there for almost a half hour before the first guy came by with meat. He gave me a little sliver of sirloin that was about the size of half a strip of bacon. About 15 minutes later somebody gave me a cold chunk of turkey wrapped in bacon. And then somebody came by with some roasted pineapple which we weren't interested in. Suffice it to say, we only got small little slivers of beef, and this was frustrating because what we did receive tasted great, but they hardly ever came by and the slices they gave us were extremely small. We were basically starving to death and so we ended up having to feed ourselves from the salad bar. I had a black bean soup that was pretty good, and a salad. I would say in the hour and a half we were there I didn't get 6 ounces of beef. My wife and daughters had given up in pretty much up on waiting for meat and they just snacked on the salad bar stuff. So they got even less. Given the price point on this lunch, it was not a good deal at all. I mentioned to one of the guys who cut the meat at the table that we really wanted some more steak. He gave a very insolent response, with a scowl and a shrug of the shoulders. Very bad vibes. Would I go here again? Maybe we just caught the place on a bad day. But there were only a handful of other patrons there while we were there, and so I don't know why the service was so horrible. It was not a good experience and it wasn't worth even a fraction of what we paid. This was more of a salad bar experience than it was a Brazilian barbecue. I maybe would try this place one more time because I love Brazilian barbecues, and to the best of my knowledge there are none other in the area. But overall it was a very bad experience and I only give it two stars because the salad bar was acceptable.

Cooked just right, great crisp on the on the outside, nice and moist on the inside. Lots of yummy veggies! - Bibimbap (with hot stone bowl). Bowl cooked the rice edges to a crisp for a satisfying crunch (the whole point). The roasted rice contrasts nicely with the soft veggies and meat. Gochujang was very mild in terms of spice level, I would like more spicy. - Friendly service. Cons: - Wife's Bulgogi meal was just ok according to her. I tried it and I would agree, it was plain. We have tried lots of bulgogi from different Korean restaurants and have a HUGE sampling of AYCE kbbq, and this was really nothing memorable. For someone who is trying Korean food for the first time, this would be a good starter dish, it's totally inoffensive. - Kimchi didn't have a lot of flavor. It too was not spicy at all, I think that the mild spice level might be there to cater to the Western pallet, but who knows. - Nothing special about the ambiance. Some chair, some tables, a kitchen, a bathroom. I wanted Korean food and this place hit the spot. My wife did not feel the same way unfortunately.

It's even a few steps above glamping as it should be for the steep price. However, if you want to experience a few days in a great outdoors The Ranch at Emerald Valley is perfect. After 4 nights at the Broadmoor resort (also amazing) we took the 2pm shuttle up a rocky mountain road to the Ranch. We were greeted by Aaron, a fellow Northwestern alum (go Wildcats) and his incredible staff. There were 38 people total our first night there, which the told us was a record for the Ranch. It didn't feel very crowded though (especially after the craziness of the resort) and most of the people had kids the same age as ours which was a lot of fun. They showed us to our cabin, Hills Cabin, which I realized was the "presidential cabin." It was a huge 2 bedroom cabin that had enough room for 6 kids up in loft up top and a beautiful master suite. + 3 bathrooms and a ginormous kitchen/dining room that we didn't really put to use. It also have a big TV with Netflix and a lovely fireplace. There's a 3rd bedroom that's attached to it, although the 2nd night we were there it was rented by another couple with a separate entrance. There's plenty of fun to be had at the ranch: horseback riding, paddleboats/kayaks, archery, fishing, hiking etc. And if you get a rainy afternoon there are plenty of board games to play both in the lodge and in the cabin. We spent 2 nights here, although with the rain wish we had an extra night to enjoy some of the activities we didn't have a chance to squeeze in. The food was absolutely amazing. My picky children were even in heaven and my little guy has been asking for lobster ever since trying it as their Wed night cookout. Dinners besides the twice a week cookout involves ordering off a menu with plenty of choices for all. I do wish they did a better job with labeling the buffet with food allergies. My son has a serious nut allergy and almost ate a brownie with walnuts because it wasn't labeled and I had to constantly ask if things had nuts and/or gluten in them. They asked for our dietary restrictions ahead of time so assumed they'd be better about this. This really was a very special experience that I think our kids will remember for a long time. I heard this coming week a big family is renting out the entire ranch and I'd love to do the same with family and/or friends at some point, although it was fun getting to know some lovely people from around the country as well.
