Of our entire Colorado trip this was all of the kids favorite stop we made! The food was delicious, the village was a blast, and the entertainment was beyond what I expected! I can see why people come back again and again! Everyone was so helpful and you could tell they wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. Beautiful views and ambiance.

Smoked steak and chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots and salad. Delicious!

One of the best family-friendly, good quality and long-lived purely Colorado Springs traditions you're going to find, Flying W Ranch! We went out there for the Cowboy Christmas show this evening and really enjoyed it. Everyone working there was so kind, friendly, and helpful. The parking folks, the food handlers, the musicians...everyone was great. This place oozes the best parts of Christmas spirit. The food was surprisingly delicious! Its not easy to serve so many folks a really good meal in such a smooth way. But Flying W knocks it out of the ballpark. I think we may have just started a new tradition.

GREAT experience with friends. These folks know how to feed you. You can stroll the grounds which are lovely. This ranch is tucked into the red rocks hog back west of Colorado Springs and the setting is gorgeous. They roll the animals out for you to see, etc. Cattle, mini-horses and donkeys. Goats for the kids. You can even test your archery skills or your hatchet throwing skills. There's a Native American demo of dancing also before dinner. Dinner itself is extraordinarily organized. But before that begins is GRACE! A Blessing for sure. They can stuff hundreds of folks through 4 food lines VERY quickly. And the food? The food is just fine! Beans, chicken, brisket, potatoes, applesauce, a biscuit and cake. Lots of it AND seconds are also on the menu! You WON'T leave hungry! They have plenty of staff circulating to refresh drinks and clean up after you. THEN come the Flying W Wranglers. GREAT harmonies. Good ol' western music + some gospel! They have fun, we had fun, and you'll have fun! Even heard an invited guest who sang with the Wranglers the very first Flying W dinner in 1953. Sang and yodeled at 92 years young. Special dude. It's not dinner it's an experience and one you can enjoy over and over. Even the owner (4th generation) was constantly involved all evening long. Wonderful!

Our company took us to the Flying W Ranch for dinner and activities. The experience was nothing short of amazing. I wanted to visit a nice ranch for a while and these folks made my dream come true. The reception with lemonades, horse racing show, walking around the ranch itself, and appetizers, line dancing and other small details left a great impression on me. The dinner wasn't mind blowing but decent and nice. Looking forward to come back again.

Great night at the Flying W Ranch. Lots to see and do on the grounds, food was fabulous (bbq chicken and brisket - tasty and moist) with all the fixin's! Show was excellent. Surprisingly outstanding musicians. Got there at 5:30 left at 8:45 - great scenery too!

This is a fantastic experience ! The animals were so well cared for, the staff super friendly and informative. The music was so nostalgic and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience ! Highly recommend for a family adventure or a couples date night!

Highly recommend! Exploring the property before dinner was a lot of fun. There is a lot to do! Dinner was delicious and the show was fantastic! We will be back!

This is definitely a family friendly event. They have everything from Indian dancers, petting zoo with goats, sheep, emus, and llamas, ax, throwing, and archery sections. There are plenty of places to go on little hikes. There are turkeys miniature donkeys, all long being supervised by wranglers on horses. The chuckwagon dinner itself was not really authentic kinda sent you through a line and slap stuff on your tin plate. The food was OK. The cowboy beans were delicious and the head of the show was the applesauce for some reason. The live music was definitely worth it. They really put on a good show. I would recommend if you're in the area and you have the time to at least go once I know it's a little expensive but it's definitely worth the experience.

This is my second time to the Flying W Ranch, and both time have been great! The grounds have lots of activities including animals, axe throwing, and horse carriage rides. There was a lot of rain on my second visit, but the staff did their best to bring the activities under cover. They even had a Native American dance and started dinner early. The food is served promptly and by table in buffet style. However, it takes less than 15 minutes for the hundreds of people to get their food. Impressive! My husband loves the brisket, and I love the cinnamon apples and biscuits. While expensive, it's a great family-friendly outing. Would recommend for those visiting Colorado Springs, it is a nice western experience.

A group of six seniors on a Monday night. The weather was perfect for an early evening at the "W". First time here since the fire. Parking was plentiful and golf carts are readily available to cart those that need assistance. A gorgeous setting and the grounds are well maintained. We wandered around for about an hour and then settled in the outdoor amphitheater for the Native American Indian dance show. About a twenty minute performance, very nice. We then headed in to the pavilion (covered) for the dinner and show. Very well organized and everyone gets served in rapid fashion. Surprise, the food is very good. Personally I cleaned my plate and if you so desire you can go back for more. I was too full to go back for more. The tin plate held brisket, BBQ chicken, beans, baked potato, apple sauce, a biscuit and a piece of spice cake. The tables are cleared and the music begins. The Flying W Wranglers perform in a five part harmony. Exceptionally good. The restrooms are clean and can handle the crowd...

What a fun night! We arrived early at Flying W Ranch and were glad we did there's plenty to explore around the grounds and lots of interactive activities before dinner. The food was delicious, classic ranch style fare, and they even offer seconds if you're still hungry. After dinner, the live show was super entertaining and had everyone laughing and clapping along. The whole experience felt authentic, friendly, and well organized. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Colorado Springs area!

I had been to the Flying W as a kid in 1993, and I knew my kids would enjoy it. It was closed the last time we were in Colorado as the family was still rebuilding from the 2012 fire, so we made sure to go this year when we went back. It was a great experience, and my kids really enjoyed the animals, food, and show. I would definitely recommend the Flying W! The family has done a great job rebuilding and bringing back the spirit of the original show.

We went for the Christmas show and it was easily one of the best experiences I have had. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. The band was phenomenal. It was easily one of the most organized event I have ever attended as well. If you have not been to the Christmas show it is an absolute must around the holidays. The inside is decorated very festively. I will be coming back for one of the summer shows.

I messaged on here and quickly had an appointment to come see the venue! We walked in and my husband said, "I think this is the place it just is so fitting for us." The view house welcomed us with open arms. As I stated initially in this review, the food and the ambience are amazing, but what really made the experience testimonial worthy was, Vincent, our waiter/server. Dude rolled in with a small notepad, a smile, calm demeanor, and took every order, every drink, every appetizer, and even dealt with all these freaking knucklehead kids. I woke up and said the exact thing to My Wife yesterday. So, Vincent, hats off to you and everybody there. To the people behind-the-scenes making the food, THANK YOU! PS. Not a mistake was made. We had 12:30pm reservations, one would think that they would be quite busy at that time, at least busy enough for the food to turn over. Apparently not, as you can probably tell by the photos. I don't care that they weren't busy, someone should be there checking the quality of the food and changing it out as needed. The service was less than stellar as well. I'm glad I was able to try it to see what it was all about, but I'm pretty sure I won't be going back. *Although it doesn't look too bad in the photos, the pizza never moved, it was the same dried out product that was there from the time I arrived until the time I left. The lobster tail was tough and had some sort of funky spice or something that just tasted really weird. I took a picture of the Caesar salad, which sat almost empty until I was about ready to leave, unfortunately it came out really blurry so I deleted the photo off my phone. The million dollar bacon was hard and cold, they should probably change the name to "50 cent bacon." Most of the temperatures of the food were questionable, lukewarm at best. I never once saw anyone checking temps.
