I put this car wash on the map giving it it's first review on Yelp and have frequented it ever since..but today I was disgusted by the young Indian guy who came up to my car asking me to leave if I'm done vacuuming..he was nice and respectful about it and stated that his boss was going to get mad at him if I lingered too long after vacuuming since there are other cars waiting to use the vacuums. My gripe wasn't with his tone, my gripe was the fact that he chose to approach me!! ONE- there was a guy at the vacuum port next to mine, who also did NOT pull off immediately after vacuuming his vehicle and NO ONE bothered him. He lingered for at least 3 mins. TWO- I was only done vacuuming for about one minute and decided to fix my hair before pulling off..so WHY approach me but not the MAN in the vehicle next to mine who also lingered prior to pulling off? Very weak behavior if you ask me! Stop targeting women! I probably wont return to this rinky dinky car wash. I noticed when I got home that there were lots of dirty spots on my car that were not cleaned properly. Smh! In addition, its a self serve car wash, but the minute you pull up to use the self serve kiosk, someone approaches you to try to sell you a membership every time! Very annoying! read more

I recently had a disappointing experience at Ultimate Express Car Wash. I went in for a single car wash and was informed by an employee about a special promotion for the month of September, allowing me to get a car wash every day for the same price as a single wash. When I asked if there would be any charges after this month, the employee assured me there wouldn't be. However, it turned out to be a deceptive practice. The employee did not disclose that I was actually signing up for a monthly membership that would auto-renew at a higher cost. Additionally, the employee selected options on the kiosk without my consent, including a vacuum service I declined, which he seemingly kept for himself. After seeing the charges, I reached out to the business to inform them of my experience and charges. Their response was that it doesn't matter what I was told by the employee, it was stated in the Terms and Conditions which I should have read. They refused to refund me for the charges. This experience has left me feeling deceived and frustrated. The lack of clear communication from the employees and the company's unwillingness to provide a satisfactory resolution has ensured that I will not be returning. It took multiple emails to even suggest a resolution, and the only acceptable outcome should have been a full refund. The purpose of this review is to inform others of this practice so you aren't charged monthly without knowing about it. The machine just completed chewed up the driver's side bottom door rear paneling. I have a white vehicle so after each wash I started to notice scuffs and discoloration around my car. After the chewing up of my door paneling. I just canceled my subscription and cut my losses. Plus i am noticing mechanical issues as well. I am praying it is no significant damage. They're simply not worth it. My car is only 2 years old. read more

I had 3 monthly memberships for myself, my husband and my son since 2022 at the Valley Stream location. Staff, wonderful, friendly, helpful when needed. My reason for giving this business 1 star is this: In March of this year the gas cap on my 2022 BMW was completely ripped off, it is located on the passenger side of the car. I emailed Adam Ascher, the owner, and after several nasty email exchanges (nasty on his part) and my husband (also a business owner on LI) having to get involved, did he agree to replace the cap (I still had to take it to the body shop to have it painted which was not covered by him) however he still refused to acknowledge that his equipment was the cause of this incident and in need of maintenance, instead, he insisted I must've left the gas cap open after getting gas - which was not true because my tank was almost on empty - pictures provided to him as proof as well as a gas receipt from 2 weeks prior proving I had not filled up since then. He refused to send me a video clip of my car going through the wash that day which could've/would've proved my cap was open (according to him) when I went through the wash because it was not just as I indicated to him. Fast forward to this past Thursday, Sept. 5th, my son took his 2022 BMW to get washed and the equipment ripped off his passenger side mirror. Once again, emailed Adam, sent photos and his responding email and resolution to this issue was to "permanently ban all three of us" from the car wash and revoke our memberships, which little did he know, he did us a favor because we were planning on doing that anyway. Point here is this, as a business owner, this man refuses to take responsibility and acknowledge that machines break down and things happen and instead he deflects all issues back on YOU, the paying customer by insisting that "your car is old, your parts are old, your gas cap was already opened, your license plate wasn't screwed in tight enough which caused it rip off, your mirror was already broken before you came through the wash" although other people (read their reviews and view their pictures) including myself have emailed him proof of before and after pictures proving none of what he said was true. He is never on-site or available to reach by phone, he instead prefers hide and respond with nasty emails which again is not the right way to handle things. It's as if he feels that he has enough customers with several car wash businesses so losing two or three is not an issue, although those two or three who may have recommended other family and friends who have memberships, now turn into ten or twenty customers which puts a dent in his business and hits his pockets. My thoughts on this and I've done some research (as anyone reading this should do as well), is that he is aware that the customer base at the Valley Stream location is mostly people of color - who do not matter to him, because of the Google responses from him regarding their legitimate complaints, however, you'll notice completely responses from him when replying to customers from his other LI locations where his customer base is of a completely different race and background. Sad part is this is the staff is wonderful, the idea of a quick wash is great, decent prices, however the OWNER is the one with the problem when there is an issue with your car. There are plenty of ways to handle issues of damages done to a client's car when it is proven via his many cameras - as opposed to deflecting and defending himself and ultimately, losing your customers for simply making him aware of what happened at HIS business. Him cancelling our memberships was a blessing, I prefer to spend my money at a place who respects my family and me. So, to those of you who don't know you've been warned. Find another place to wash your car before it is damaged. read more

Ok this company decided to cancel my subscription due to the review I provided. I pay for the full carwash package yet many times the tire shine is not working or shines only one side, also the windshield is left soaking wet cause the mechanism to dry it is old and outdated. Let me provide you with some more feedback. I am writing this second review to express my concern about the cancellation of my subscription, which occurred after I provided a review detailing issues I had with the service previously. As a paying customer, it is my right to provide honest feedback when I experience reoccruing problems. Rather than addressing the issue or offering a solution, this racist company decided to cancel my subscription. This feels punitive and unprofessional. When I entered the location I found it strange that my subscription was not up to date because its automatically deducted from my account monthly. I entered another payment and drove to the car wash area. When I approached the employee, he informed me that the subcription was canceled and I needed to do a dry run through the machine since they were not allowing me to wash my vehicle. This racist company charged me 32 dollars and I also had more time on my previous monthly subscription. I addressed this issue with the employee who in turn contacted the local police department. During the conversation with the officers, the employee stated that my subscription was cancelled due to me providing a review on google instead of writing the review on their company website (ultimateexpress.net). Stay away from this business at all costs. If you provide negative feedback on google instead of their site, they will cancel your subscription. They are very unprofessional and nasty. read more

I was suspended from using the facility without any explanation for a week and a half. No response was given when I reached out for more information. I finally get access back and when I show up again I'm told my credit card was declined. I was annoyed and questioned the man who appeared to be management. The manager berated me and threatened to beat me up, telling me to get out of my car so he could fight me. When I mentioned that I'm physically disabled he and his assistant pushed my car door closed and told me to leave. This is a mediocre car wash at best. The fact is almost every car when they leave must pull over on the side streets to wipe their cars off. The general workers are good guys. The manager is an ASS! read more

I've had an unlimited package for over a year. I usually get my car washed 2-3 times a week. I'm pleased with the service. I often forget to retract my mirrors before going through and they haven't been damaged. I've had little interaction with the employees but when I have they have been pleasant. I find the vacuum times to be more than enough for me to even vacuum my trunk. 2 other members of my household also have similar experiences with the carwash. I tried the rebuilt one on Middle Country road in Centereach, the car was is nice and it does a pretty good job. so I joined the monthly wash club. I was told that because I got an introductory price that I would have to. go on their web site and make any changes if I wanted to. today I wanted to find out what the monthly cost would be going forwar, so I went to the website expecting to be able to get that information, what you get is an email link, I sent an email asking what my new price would be, and I was asked what package I wanted. I didn't know because I wanted to know the price. the next email I received told me they couldn't look up my informatio, so I cancelled the subscription. bottom line, pretty good car wash, a non customer friendly website. so if you want just a decent one time car wash go there, I wouldn't sign up for their monthly subscriptions again read more
