The entire home (1900 square feet), except for the primary bathroom, has ceramic tile floors. And this tile looked BAD! Dirt embedded in the textured surfaces, grout that had maybe never been sealed. I've never had floor restoration work done, and didn't know what to expect, price-wise or results-wise. Bayron came for the consultation, measured everything, and explained how they do what they do. I was at first taken aback at the $ amount of the bid, but let me tell you...IT IS WORTH IT!!! And yes, they worked with me to make it a bit more comfortable for me financially. Bayron promised during the consultation that they would make the floors look "90% - 99% like new." Many businesses make empty or inflated promises but NOT Silver Knights - these tile floors look like they were just installed! I was blown away by the quality of the work, and the fact that the crew went over EVERY SQUARE INCH of the nasty old grout and made it a new, pleasing, CLEAN, sealed color. There was one issue that occurred when the crew was trying to remove old paint stains from the wall edges of some of the tile, and Bayron promised to make good on it. He came a couple of days later and did the work himself to make it right. I've got one "before" and a few "after" pictures I"ll share...but they don't really show the stark differences all that well. Suffice to say, I'd recommend Silver Knights Floor Restoration for any job you've got. They will give it to you straight on the estimate, and make good on whatever they promise. Bravo!

After getting three ridiculously expensive quotes from other companies and feeling frustrated, I told Raphael from Brillo Restoration that our budget was a certain amount and that he shouldn't waste his time to come over and do an estimate. He said it was actually possible to meet our budget but he would have to send Markitos over to do an estimate. Markitos gave us a great affordable price to paint our tub and tiles white and he was super nice. It took him 8 hours one day and he came back the second day to do some caulking. Even though he set up a huge industrial fan, the smell was very strong and we had to let it air out for a week before the smell disappeared. The tub and tiles look fabulous and I love the results! Raphael was also very responsive and kept emphasizing to reach out to him for any questions or issues. Highly recommend them for refinishing!

12/3/2020 update So…read morewe learned that we had a few marble tiles that were loose which was causing the grout to chip off. Ben and Cynthia came out and assessed the situation and came up with a solution for us. Basically they said they'd send over the wonder team (Richard and Miguel) to inject a glue into the crevice and then lay the grout on top of it to help the loose tiles. They were so nice and my husband and I just appreciate their willingness to help us come up with a solution. Richard and Miguel came today to fix everything and they were amazing as usual. I just wanted to give this company our thanks for this level of customer service. A fireplace with an unusual gas line was taken out. Sean Craig's company successfully completed a heckuva lot of work. Our primary plumber was Ray, assisted by his son, Lance. I don't remember even one day over two months of work when Ray was not on time. Lennette in the office communicated well, always keeping us informed on when someone would be coming over. Over the years, we have had contractors not live up to what they promised us. That was not the case with SC Plumbing. We recently had a couple of minor things go bad from the multitude of plumbing work done last fall. I emailed Sean saying a bolt holding a toilet had broken, and one of the sink's plungers had become disconnected. He had Ray come out in two business days to correct these two issues. It was fantastic to see Sean stand behind his company's work and take care of it so quickly. I cannot speak highly enough of Sean and his company!

I filed a claim with our home warranty company, and they assigned Integrity Home Services to us. We filed a claim on Sunday night, and Peter called me on Monday morning to schedule an appointment. We set an appointment for Wednesday between 9 and 11 AM. Peter showed up on time (and smelling great) and got to work. He took the time to listen to what was wrong and what we had already tried. He ran the dryer to confirm and then got to work. Peter had the issue fixed in about 20 minutes. It turned out that our thermostat had burned out. He replaced it, but let us know the root cause. Our washer and dryer are too big for our laundry room, and there's not enough room behind the dryer. The hose was getting crushed, reducing the airflow. He tried his best to move our dryer out enough that the hose wouldn't be crushed without blocking our garage door. He let us know that we'll need to change the vent hose to something smaller, or this will happen again. I really love that he took the time to not just fix the issue, but to find the root cause. As a female homeowner, it's rare to feel heard, and it's far too common to be spoken to like a child. Peter was the exact opposite. He was respectful and efficient, which I really appreciate. I'm definitely calling them directly next time we have an issue.
