In the search for a great installer for Paint Protection Film(PPF) and ceramic coating I came across this installer on Yelp and social media as a recommended candidate for my project for my new 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper. I did get quotes and estimate for 4-5 other installers including Tesla/Xpel's website recommended and Ultimate Shield simply made the best impression of all of them! First of all the customer service from Joseph from our first communication, answering all my questions & concerns, to the scheduling process and finally to the actual service and pickup this is exactly how customer service should be done at any shop! They will keep you updated via text and/or email and very responsive. The pricing and quote was very competitive and detailed with other OC installers. Yes they are slightly cheaper than Tesla's app prices! The primary deciding factor was absolutely the feeling of being a highly valued client! I opted for the Full Front package with Xpel Ultimate plus in addition to the Silver package ceramic coating. I also added the full headlamp ppf set later. The drop off process was super easy and greeted with a warm early morning 8am smile from Joseph at the shop for our walk around and final details for any additional add on services i'd like. They do all types of additional ala carte services from PPF on other vehicle areas, or even ceramic coatings on interior or other exterior areas too. They do offer Xpel tinting services too if you so wish. The installation process took a complete 3 days to complete. Yes the timeline was fully disclosed at the estimate phase and yes they text you images as they move through each phase which is awesome to see! They also worked with my schedule for pickup as i absolutely needed my vehicle completed before the weekend for another appointment and they absolutely made there promised delivery date and time. The workmanship is absolutely first rate and top notch! This is my third vehicle with PPF and ceramic coating and i have to say they did the installation MUCH better than my previous installers. The PPF wrap are completely tucked with no visible edges and super seamless. Yes they do take off trims to tuck the film properly instead of half-assing like many other cheaper/less experienced installers. The ceramic coating and prep works was perfect also! They inspected under the shop lights, clayed, polished any imperfections out before applying the ceramic coating. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending Ultimate Shield to all my family and friends and future vehicle projects! If you want to feel like a VIP with the absolute BEST installation quality look no further! I purchased my window tint for my Tesla through Tesla through XPEL and then I booked the actual installation process with Ultimate Shield via text. The process was very smooth. Once I brought my car and they walked me through the different shades of tint and showed me the heat rejection via a heat lamp. All very cool stuff. Once everything was figured out and I left my car with them it was pretty much an all day job which I thought was a little too long, but I could see that they were very busy in the shop so that probably accounted for that. At the end of the day, my car came out perfect and I was very happy overall with everything. They gave me some product for cleaning and also told me about some window tint insurance they offer which includes removal for tickets. I jumped on that because it seems that a lot of window tint shops don't offer this anymore and I just assumed it would not be an option for me. I definitely recommend you trying this shop. read more
