I went to Ultra Nails having had a few acrylic sets done elsewhere that were just, you know, not good! Either they were too thick, or they lifted quickly, or were rough when they grew out. Having read goods reviews about Ultra Nails, I decided to try it. My experience was wonderful! They are open late, so no pressure to get there early, the ambiance was cozy and comfortable, and the fish tank is especially relaxing. My nail tech (I forget her name, but I think she was the manager) was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and shared several facts with me that helped me understand my nails better. She was very friendly and we had good conversation about our holiday plans. But most of all, she did an excellent job on my nails. Over two weeks later, they are growing out nicely. AND, she was able to apply the acrylic thinly, so as to make them look more like my natural nail. This is a difficult skill, apparently, as she is only the second person who has ever done this on my nails. read more

We came here based on the good reviews however we were both disappointed so I feel obligated to share our experience. My mom got the premium pedicure for $50 and her technician rushed through her service. I opted for the spa pedicure and manicure advertised for $65 and agreed to gel polish on my toes for an additional $15 however at checkout I was charged $40 for the pedicure, $15 for gel and $30 for the manicure (mind you, I didn't even make her paint my nails yet she hardly got my cuticles trimmed which was the entire point). She refused to honor the $65 mani/pedi because I got gel polish. We were really hoping this would be our new salon but onto the next one. read more

I got the deluxe pedicure and it comes with hot stones and parafin wax. This was my first time coming. My mom came and she got the basic. She was a little disappointed for what she is used to as far as a pedicure. We both do gel on our toes, and they do charge extra which we don't mind- most salons do charge extra. They have a good selection of gel colors. The fish tank in the middle of the salon is cool too. We both got our nails done, we do a gel overlay with gel polish. My girl was very good for both my toes and nails. Some of the staff is not the friendliest. read more

I have been coming here for over two years and one of the years I lived in Georgia. Kelly the owner has always done my nails and her artistic ability is phenomenal. I have never found anyone else that can design anything you request. My husband finally found someone that understands how to address in grown toe nails painlessly Vanessa is the person. I've been trying out different nail salons. I was a walk in and was waited on right away, I was lucky to get Jade. She is fast. Usually I get very antsy in a chair and time just flew by. It's so close to Restore that I'll come here on Saturdays after my treatment. It's the same area as Wild Bill's. I like that it's not in an average strip mall. They will be repaving this area very soon. There is a nice atmosphere here. A good size bathroom to the left as you walk in, not way hell and gone for once. I've been doing dip powder so I have my own nails. They have a good variety. Lately I've been going with white cause it matches everything. I like how she doesn't spread it on thick, there's nothing worse than that. This experience put me in a really good mood. read more

I have been seeing Kevin and Kelly at Ultra Nails for almost 2 years now. They have consistently provided quality service and my nails never break before I need my next fill. They are always very friendly, they remember their customers by name, and will make sure you leave feeling great All of the nail technicians are very talented and very kind. The salon is very clean and cute with a really beautiful salt water aquarium in the center. I was super if-y about coming. I brought my partner in for an anniversary "date" if you will for a gel manicure and I spent like 45 minutes to try and find a place with good reviews and wasn't too crazy expensive. The person I got was super sweet and brought up good conversation, but was a little slow compared to the person my partner got, who was finished in almost 30 minutes. But to be fair, the person who did my partner's nails said she'd been doing nails for 7 years! I was done closer to the 1 hour mark, which is fine, I was anticipating that. The place was clean with nice decor and decent music. If you're wondering "why just 5 stars if you liked it?" Well, I didn't get lotion and when I tried to bring it up, they just had me use the cuticle oil to "moisturize", which isn't bad, but not preferred. All in all I spent $100 on two gel manicures because it's $40 per gel manicure and I like to tip for obvious reasons. Did I tip a lot? Yes. I don't mind but at the same time when I went to ask for them to break a $20, the person just said "you want $10 for me and $10 for her right?" So it was a tiny bit awkward to say "actually no can you do $5s?" All in a good experience but a tad too expensive for what I got. I'd come again but I'd like to find something a tiny bit less expensive in my opinion. read more

Just had another wonderful experience at Ultra Nails! I enjoy the simplicity and convience of making appointments. Either calling the store or communicating directly with my favorite artist- it's easy to book a time slot quickly. Upon entering- I feel relaxed and welcome. I'm greeted promptly and my service begins on time. That's not always the case with nail salons. The space itself is very welcoming. It doesn't present as something that it is not. Smoke and mirrors doesn't always equate to good service. Ultra nails presents as itself- comfortable and welcoming while providing fantastic service and results. Love the relaxing instrumental music and saltwater fish tank. These details add to the relaxing atmosphere. I opt for standard nail polish pedicures and gel manicures. However, Ultra Nails offers the works when it comes to nails- many colors, styles, methods and options. I highly recommend Ultra Nails. I came because they had good reviews, but I won't be returning. I requested a basic mani and it was finished in record time, resulting in chipping two days later. Additionally, I had to ask the technician to remove some hangnails. I guess he just didn't want to be there and I paid the price. By the way, I used this same bottle of polish at another nail shop recently and my nails looked great for two weeks! What a disappointment and waste of money. I don't like to give reviews unless I have gone into a business several times to ensure I am being fair. But...watch out if you go to this salon. Their staff make mistakes which you end up paying for. They will give you a regular pedicure with gel top coat so when you come back they can charge you for gel removal when you never asked for gels in the first place. Also, they never trim your nails properly so when they start to grow out you start to get ingrown nails. I've never had this happen until I got pedicures from them. I have been there 3 times and consistently had the exact same issues. They also get sloppy when painting your nails and have missed spots that are visible to to the naked eye. They do not pay attention to details and will use wrong polishes and top coats, spill water all over your shoes so you go home in wet flip flops. Mind you when they soaked my shoes they didn't even bother to give me the cheap 2 cent flip flops they normally give you in the salon. They also finish the job and leave you in the chair. Nobody comes back to help put your shoes on. I am not talking about times when they are busy. There are staff sitting around but nobody can help you get your shoes on so the polish wont smudge and you get to wait for them at the register to pay while they lounge around oblivious to the fact there are customers in the store. They also are ignorant to the fact that when a customer tells you they have an injury to please not do one thing or another that it means DON'T DO IT! They do not listen to the words coming out of the customer's mouth and carry on as they please. It is not ok. I have never ever had any of these issues in another salon. Poor customer service, poor service quality. 3rd time there was the worst. read more
