I called two places and they weren't able to squeeze me in for a walk in but TT's welcomed me with open arms and an open nail technician, Hoang! I got a standard manicure with gel polish, my nail tech Hoang even helped reconstruct a nail that I'd been having trouble with lately without me really asking, she just helped me tremendously! I think she used dip powder for the nail reconstruction and it turned out so well! She really took her time and did a great job with cleaning my cuticles, removing old gel polish, and repainting. Truly left me impressed and the price was right, about $45 for the whole thing not including tip. She even ended with hand massages! I haven't had a nail salon do this before so it was the perfect ending to a delightful experience. 10/10 recommend TT's Nail Salon, located right next to the Mattress Firm on City Walk Drive. Plenty of parking and they are open til 7:00 pm, which is perfect for those needing a visit after work. This place isn't nearly as busy as it should be during a holiday week so please go show TT's some love, they have new management and they're so appreciative of the business! Support local :)

Having read goods reviews about Ultra Nails, I decided to try it. My experience was wonderful! They are open late, so no pressure to get there early, the ambiance was cozy and comfortable, and the fish tank is especially relaxing. My nail tech (I forget her name, but I think she was the manager) was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and shared several facts with me that helped me understand my nails better. She was very friendly and we had good conversation about our holiday plans. But most of all, she did an excellent job on my nails. Over two weeks later, they are growing out nicely. AND, she was able to apply the acrylic thinly, so as to make them look more like my natural nail. This is a difficult skill, apparently, as she is only the second person who has ever done this on my nails.

She was a little disappointed for what she is used to as far as a pedicure. We both do gel on our toes, and they do charge extra which we don't mind- most salons do charge extra. They have a good selection of gel colors. The fish tank in the middle of the salon is cool too. We both got our nails done, we do a gel overlay with gel polish. My girl was very good for both my toes and nails. Some of the staff is not the friendliest.

Even more concerning, the lipstick used on me smelled old, appeared to be expired and it was to the bottom. Based on the quality and experience, I did not feel it was worth the price. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the quality of service and the products being used. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Salon Ultimo to others for makeup services. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and skill. In my experience, retailers such as Sephora and MAC provide a much more polished makeup application at prices that are more appropriate for the quality of service provided.

I was warmly greeted with a warm towel and taken to the women's locker room. The room was clean and had little items to make your time enjoyable such as a hair tie and a candy in your locker! I enjoyed about 20 minutes in the waiting area with a sparkling water, Oreo and some mixed nuts before heading to my massage. My massage therapist was WONDERFUL!! I had a 50 minute deep tissue massage and I wish I would have booked longer. It was sooooo relaxing! The table was heated, so that felt nice! I am 240lbs and 5'7 and fit on the table fine. I also had a 2x robe and it also fit perfectly! Definitely plus size friendly! After my massage I waited in the lobby area a little longer to enjoy my relaxation and then headed to the women's locker room to change. There is a shower if you prefer to not go home with lotion on you. When you go to leave, they will hold the door open for you and I feel like that is a very nice touch! I will absolutely be back!

Facial was really enjoyable and the woman who did it seemed very knowledgeable! The wrap was also great but if you don't like being wet and if having scrub on you and then getting under a blanket gives you the Heeby jeebies then I'd maybe avoid that one. Between sessions there was water tea and snacks available and a waiting area to relax, read, or scroll in. The vibes were top teir the entire day!
