Blinds cleaning is an old-school art and this is one of the few companies that still does it. The owner came to my home, carefully removed each blind and took them to his truck where he cleaned them. It was a pretty fast process and when he brought them back they were totally clean and dry. --header, slats, and pull cords! He professionally reinstalled them and was a friendly conversationalist. Those of us who require our blinds to be professionally cleaned are rare and special, just like this service. Oh, and I should mention that my home was slightly beyond his geographic service range, but he still chose to do business with me, for which I was extremely grateful! I had my blinds cleaned as they were full of dust and debris from some remodel work being done in my home. Ultrasonic was efficient in that they came right away and took the blinds to clean and returned them the next day for hanging. The problem is there was still loose dirt on the valences and the bottom strip of a few of my blinds. I called and spoke with Joe and he told me that they did the best they could do. Nothing else. I said but I used spit on my finger and rubbed a small part of it and the dirt came off...he replied with "We did the best we could do" end of conversation. He had no more to offer me. Very disappointed in his manner and how he spoke to me. I see some wonderful comments about Joe on here and perhaps I just caught him on a bad day but when I offered him to come take a look he said no. based on this experience, I would not recommend him. For five stars he would have had to apologize to me and offer to take a look at the dirty blinds and offer to make better. Instead he flatly shut me down. read more

I had called Coit first for an estimate and I was told that I would be without my blinds for a whole week and that given their age they would probably come back damaged from the transportation and/or cleaning.
