lied and sold me AMAZON PARTS I Insisted on OEM Parts from…read moremy first phone call and low and behold i got lied to and amazon parts at TOP $$$$$$ My washing machine pump failed 10 months ago i called these guys and told them its not draining it needs a pump "can you bring a NEW LG PUMP i DONT want knock off parts i want factory parts" Being a contractor myself i knew it was the pump you could hear it when it ran it was messed up and didnt drain so i told them model and serial # to bring pump with them they confirmed. tech showed up removed my pump and sure enough it was broken runs out to his van grabs a all white taped up box comes in tosses in the pump and hey it worked "FOR NOW" gives me the bill $257.40 takes old pump with him see you later bye! Me being in the service industry myself i know this was not a factory pump it was not an LG box it had no part number on it it look like it came out of a damn amazon locker!!!!!! for goodness sakes! if i amazon that pump its $25 I called them furious I let them know this is illegal to have these kind of mark ups!!! Per the California state Attorney General any business in the state of California is legally allowed a 33% markup on materials. So I don't care if you're selling groceries and you're on the biggest grocery chain in the industry you're still only allowed a 33% mark up or if you're selling liquor or cigarettes at the corner store you're only allowed to 33% markup however I was charged 185 bucks for a $25 pump out of an Amazon locker. They assured me they used a factory replacement pump and priced me per the blue book Here we are 10 months down the road and I wake up to my wife telling me our laundry room is flooding the washing machine just drained all over the floor Of course we mop and clean all that up and I called another technician from another reputable company I explain that the pump is replaced about 10 months ago however it was aftermarket...... They told me to leave the machine off until they get here with new pump Lo and behold technician shows up tears apart my machine and what does he find??????????????? Broken pump and pump is full of water leaking Is the pump and LG part?????? Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has a sticker that just says 110 V pump made in China on the side of it Check out the photos Now check out the photo of the actual broken pump full of water and go ahead and check out the box of a real LG pump Then check the contractors license board website for the formal complaint on the contractors license with the contractor and the lie I was told i purchased a factory part and a factory part was installed in my appliance however it was not and I was lied to with aftermarket parts The attorney General loves these cases if you have been taken advantage of and know you were gouged buy this company or any other at more than 33% markup then report em See how long there in Business ripping people off The company is only as good as the records it keeps before the Government takes that company away from crooked ppl taking advantage of the general public The truth hurts but is what it is if you want to be crooked and pad your wallet it only last so long Do your homework before you hire these people Just because they say they can fix it right now there's other people out there that can do it too that are honest The HONEST REPAIR COMPANY with FACTORY PARTS $205 That included $20tip for the tech to get some lunch This scam $257.40 and flooded laundry room and hall Request the license number and always do your homework at WWW.CSLB.CA.GOV

But it would not shut. As anyone who owns a Sub-Zero knows, an alarm sounds when the doors remain open, and there's no way to turn it off. So, every 30 minutes or so, the alarm kicks in. Needless to say, I wanted this fixed promptly and correctly. There are only two certified Sub-Zero repair services in my area. I called one, and the wait was about 10 days. When I called Best Appliance, they were able to send a technician in four days. It was difficult living with the sound of the alarm, but early Monday morning, Dennis arrived on time and immediately assessed a problem he'd seen before. One side of the railings were stuck because of ice. He went in, took the railings on both sides apart and cleared the buildup. There was no ding, ding, ding, ding while he worked or when he finished. He also recommended I buy new railings. They had been updated and improved, he said, and they were much less likely to have this problem. I'd had my Sub-Zero for 10 years, so I took the advice. He installed them two days later. They glide much more smoothly than the ones I previously had. I paid about $650 for parts and labor, and I'm delighted with the value I received. He answered all my questions and gave me a couple of tips that will come in handy. I highly recommend Best Appliance.

They even called to say they could squeeze me in a day earlier if it worked with my schedule. Their technician, Jay, arrived about 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment block. It would give me an error code and turn off. Then over the years it became turning it on 5 times. When it was 8 times I finally but the bullet and called Zajic Appliance repair where we've bought new appliances and had them repair appliances in-home. When I said "Thermador" to Zajic i heard air being sucked in on the other end and it was like I had said my appliance had a communicable disease. "Nope, we don't work on Thermador, try X." I then called X and they said "No, we stopped working on Thermador but try Microwave and Appliance Repair," and gave me their number. I was beginning to think that Thermador was the Edsel of appliances. I was very relieved that the helpful and friendly voice on the other end assured me they did service Thermador appliances. I scheduled a diagnostic appointment ($88 9/24) and a week later the repairman came. He was very calm and competent, and got to the bottom of the issue with a new cooling fan part needed. I also found out the model number and the age of our oven (18 years old!). They called to update us on the price of the part and labor and we scheduled the repair appointment. A week later he returned and put the part in. A wall oven is not simple to repair because it's in the wall, but our repair person did an excellent job and I am thrilled to report that the oven turns on without fail, it turns on to temperature about ten minutes faster, and it cooks much more evenly. A total win. With the part and labor we paid a little over $400 for a dramatically improved oven. Very impressed! I was afraid to call about the oven for 7 years because I just assumed we'd need a new one, and I wanted to make do for a while longer. After this experience I would encourage you to call for a diagnostic, you'll never know what can happen and it might be something that is more affordable than you would guess, and will make your daily chores much more productive and less stressful.

We called them several times and left messages but they never returned our calls. We have had our new refrigerator for a week and still not installed. To date, we have not heard from them.
