This place almost always has repairs done in one day, many times in just a few hours, and at least once while I waited. Wow!! Always a reasonable price, and not once has a repair failed. I requested a repair on a game console a while back. It was a 15 minute job, but required some equipment that I do not have. Labor was vastly overpriced (15 minute job, $10 for parts, $90 for labor), but it is understandable. They have to have a price floor, and the repair I needed done was short and specific. Overall, it turned out fine. The device has not had issues since, and none of my data was destroyed. Regardless, I recommend always making a backup of your data before consulting any repair company. 10/10 for my specific instance, but look out. If you are on a tight budget or do not know how to back up your data, I would perhaps practice extra discernment in your search.

If I were a small- business owner, I would eat the $110 for the sake of keeping the business of a family of 4 who has been coming to them for years (they have made $800 off my husband's phone this past year alone!!). If they had even met me halfway or something, that would have made me feel better. Nope, nothing. At least they refunded the $70 deposit I had given them yesterday.

While we were there we had so much fun looking at all the retro games, consoles, accessories and cards that they have at the shop. Everyone was really nice, helpful and welcoming and we were really impressed with the whole experience. They ended up calling us a couple days later to let us know the diagnosis for our controllers and what they'd be doing to fix them up. The final cost was below the quote and we're so happy to be able to play some classic games with our well loved controllers again.

I had a huge TV with a relatively minor pixel imperfection, but since it was under warranty and considering I paid so much for it, I figured Samsung should fix it. The two technicians -- Russian gentlemen whose names I unfortunately cannot remember -- were very polite, and didn't complain about having to repair what some repairmen might consider a petty little problem. They worked very efficiently together. They were even able to get the big TV up onto a pretty high fireplace mantle, when it originally was on a small TV stand. I really appreciate the work they did, and the manner in which they did it.

Your assigned case manager emails back when they feel like it, is never reachable when you call them. When they call they don't say who they are calling with or what their name is. They act like scheduling your repair appointment is a chore. A man a spoke to even hung up on me! The technicians are no better. The wrong part was ordered which resulted in my fridge being completely broken for almost 4 days. The second part was installed and now the same issue is happening again, but even worse. Avoid this company if you have a choice.

Our 5 year old Samsung 60 3D LED TV went dark. I took it in to CVS since they were close by and convenient. The owner helped me unload the TV and wrote up a repair order. He told me there was $45 diagnostic fee which he said would go towards any repair. I asked him how much it might be and He told me it might be between $200 and $300 dollars for repair but that he would call me finished the diagnostic and could give me an actual estimate. So, I was prepared to shell out $300 or $400 because we loved the TV and I figured the estimate was probably a low. Two days later I got a call. He said the TV was ready to be picked up. I was surprised because he hadn't called me with an estimate. When I asked how much the repair was he said it was covered by the $45 diagnostic fee and that there was no additional charge! I had to ask him to repeat it because I couldn't believe it. He said it was a simple problem with a loose connection that simply needed to be re-soldered and that it did not require any new parts. He helped me load it back into my truck and I took it home and plugged it in and it works as good as new! He could have easily charged me a few hundred dollars and I would have been glad to pay it but he did not. Very refreshing and pleasant to deal with. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends. Thank you CVS! read more

I needed a weird size fuse for a board the runs my multi-zone HVAC system but couldn't find it anywhere. I went to Fry's, Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, Napa Auto parts, Walmart and nobody had one. I went by CVS to see if they might possibly have one. When I got there nobody was in the office but within a minute a lady stuck her head on the door and said he would be right out as he was eating lunch. After about a minute he came in and I showed him the fuse. He looked at it and immediately said he didn't have anything that size. He recommended a couple of places I could check and I left. As I was getting in my car he came to the window and told me to come back in and he would try something. What he ended up doing is taking a fuse he had and transformed it with a soldering iron into the fuse that I needed. It was pretty cool and when he finished I offered to pay him but he refused. What impressed me wasn't that he didn't charge me but that he went out of his way to chase me down and then went to the trouble of building me a new fuse. Excellent customer service and if I ever need a TV, Monitor, Video Camera etc......that needs repaired I am taking it to him to be repaired and I recommend anybody reading this to do the same. read more

David takes the word "service" to a whole new level. My 6-year-old Samsung TV stopped working and rather than shell out $500 on a new one right now, I called CVS. David, the owner, was very pleasant and repaired it for just a tad over $100. I asked him about a sound bar that would work with it and he actually shopped around and found a really nice sound bar for me. Being among the considerable senior percentile who are technologically challenged, I failed at hooking it up on my own. When I called him a few days later and informed him of my plight, he went over and beyond and came by the house and hooked the sound bar up! And didn't charge me! Who does that in today's business world? Needless to say, I would HIGHLY recommend him. He's very knowledgeable, reasonable, and just plain nice to deal with! CVS is highly recommended by virtue of their knowledge, professionalism and honesty. I have a 70" Sharp that stopped working. I spoke to SHARP technical support, and they isolated the problem to a power related issue. I spoke to several local TV repairs shops, and all said that it was the screen, and in the same breath stated they would come by and pick up the TV to dispose of it for me. Even after explaining what SHARP technical support stated, they both said it was the screen. I called CVS and in a matter of 5 min, and over the phone they helped me fix the problem at no cost. If I had not spoken to CVS, I'd be out $2500 - $3500 for a new TV and some TV repair shop would be selling my 'broken' TV for a nice profit. THANKS CVS... read more

Excellent service! Professional, honest, knowledgeable and courteous! I had a Dish Tailgater Satellite that needed to be repaired, David repaired it expeditiously and even took a lot of his own time to sit with me and test the unit after it was repaired. Fantastic Service and David is super friendly. I went in the shop to see if they could repair my PCIx board that was damaged by me dropping it and they repaired the board in minutes. I would recommend this service to anyone who wants quality work at an affordable price. Super helpful and will send all of my repair business to these folks! I took my Samsung 40" here to be repaired. Nothing too complicated about the experience, there was something wrong with the power supply. It cost me $110 all together, which included the $25 deposit. Really nice guy. I had to wait until next payday to pick it up, he didn't mind at all. Last night when I picked it up, he stayed a few minutes after closing and waited for me to come. He also had my TV on and hooked up to cable so I could see that it was working. I would definitely recommend! read more

I had a bicycle light battery assembly wire come detached from its connection to a small (tiny to me) circuit board. Being it's a lithium ion battery assembly and not wanting to take any chances on black outs or worse (fires!) on night time training rides, having it done professionally seemed a reasonable approach; not a DIY job on this one. In short, I had a solder and overall fix completed in less than 10 minutes time. Better than new. A real pro; fair and friendly guy, too. read more

I spoke to David about a problem with my older Panasonic plasma TV not being able to turn back on after being on for a few hours. David thought it might be a capacitor and would be worth repairing. David looked at the TV and determined that the repairs would cost more than $300. Rather than making the repairs, he suggested that I buy a new TV instead and just charged me a nominal fee for his services. Have used them for years, starting at their previous location at the intersection of Sunrise and Cirby and they have always done a great job at a fair price. They fixed a TV, and a couple of video recorders. Nothing ever had to go back for follow up work. Nice to know they are still around on Sunrise in CItrus Heights as I have a TV that needs to be fixed and that is where I am taking it. Honest and nice to deal with. Highly recommend! read more

They explained each of the issues and why the repairs were necessary. The TV is back to normal with the assurance of a 90 day warranty.
