The last time I was here was a very long time ago, but I was really happy to be back. Mini golf brings back memories of going as a kid. We were there for a birthday party and what's cool is that they give you a $20 game card if your part of the birthday. So we got to play in the arcade area for a bit. The space is not that big so not too many options but still fun. Pizza and drinks were also included in the birthday package. Pizza was ok, nothing to rave about but I honestly wasn't expecting it to be anything more than what it was. You also get a round of golf which was so much fun! There was different course levels to choose from. Of course we went with an easier one because of the kids but it was still so much fun. I just wish there were more shaded areas when moving along the course. I think going in the evening would be nice if you want to avoid the sun.

Sherman Oaks Castle Park is a LEGENDARY and ICONIC staple of the valley for many years now, and hopefully for many more years to come! We have been coming here for over 20 years now with my son, friends, their children, etc..it's a great place to have some much needed FUN and you can even host birthday parties/events here. The kids (and adults) love it! They have a huge parking lot right off Sepulveda and the first thing you'll see are the batting cages. Then you can take the pathway up to the castle itself which is actually an arcade. They have so many fun games, including my favorite Air Hockey. You can purchase a reloadable game card to play games with then go to the prize counter to choose a prize. Towards the end of the arcade, there is an area where they sell food such as burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, candy, ice cream, churros, and beverages. There's also a nice seating area to enjoy your food. Once you go through the double doors and to the right, you can pay for the mini golf at the Cashier station where they'll give you your clubs and balls. Our cashier was Ama and she was such a sweet girl. The price was $12 per adult. My son and I decided to play Course 3 and had a BLAST. It brought back so many memories of coming here when I was younger myself and my son was just a little boy. We are both grown up now and it was still as much fun as it was then (if not more)! After we finished, we went back to the Cashier so we could do a replay and did Course 2 this time. It was a slow day and we had both of the entire courses to ourselves. It was so nice to be able to take our time and ENJOY the beauty of the park and soothing sounds of the waterfalls as we played golf. The entire place is so well-maintained over the years and the carpets of the holes are so clean! Cleaner than some houses and apartments I've been to. Once we had our fun, we went back in to return our clubs and ended up having the most fun time of the whole day. We just ended up chatting with Ama and her coworker Melody at the cashier stand. Even their manager Daniel joined in and they were all such cool, lovely and SWEET people. Such a pleasure to talk to and they really made my day. Ama was even kind enough to give us 4 free passes for future use. It's so rare to meet such kind and genuine people these days and I'm so thankful to have met them! Thank you all for such a lovely evening...Castle Park, you ROCK!!

Fun place to play Arcade games, they have a nice variety of games. I love that they have the biggest Pac-Man game and they have virtual reality games too. The staff is friendly and lots of parking.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's very near and dear to my heart. For $12 adults and $8 kids mini golf, it's always a great time and easy outing. I brought my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, and despite them being at almost maximum capacity we had a wonderful time!! The courses were immaculate and decorated with hearts everywhere and they were playing love songs on the speakers throughout the park. At no point did we feel rushed or cramped, and the night lights made for a dreamy atmosphere. The giant rose heart installation was a wonderful touch, complete with a stand for timed selfies. Everyone was taking turns taking photos for each other though. Such a wonderful sense of community. Thank you to the Castle Park staff for a lovely Valentines

I came here today to celebrate my 12 year old nephew's belated birthday. I was surprised to see how much fun I had while I putted around the 18 holes they have built in the back of the property after you pass the arcade. I dragged my dad along because he loves golf so much. Because he's such an enthusiast of golf he brought 2 of his own personal clubs so that we wouldn't need to use Castle Park's intro clubs. This experience was very affordable as the following is the pricing to get in. Adult: $12 Senior $8 Children $8 Replays: $5 Since my dad was retired we got to get him the senior price along with my nephew being a kid then with me as the typical adult. We came around noon and the line to get in was so hard that it wrapped around a DTLA building. We wrapped up basically halfway through the 18 hole course. The weather was so beamingly hot that all of us were okay wrapping it up halfway through. We decided we'll come back next time as early birds or after the sun goes down. Tons of fun all around with supportive staff helping along the way.

I've never been here before but what a great place to play some arcade and plenty of parking. They have a cute course for some miniature golf. Great place to take the kids.

Loved having my daughter's birthday here! We paid for the private boathouse and for food. The pizza was ok but the kids enjoyed it. We ordered wings and a salad for the adults. The "chicken" on the salad looked like croutons and were small hard pieces- do not recommend. The rest of the salad was tasty. The kids enjoyed the mini golf and then went inside to the arcade when it got hot outside. Overall, everyone had fun and it was affordable!

I Have driven past Castle Park so many times and honestly never knew it's a mini golf place, and yesterday my friend decided we should go mini golfing there. Parking is free, and there is a spacious parking lot. Everyone seems to want to park near the front but I don't mind walking and there is plenty of space closer to the entrance of the lot. The walk is not even far. It is summertime and I suggest that you wear a hat as the sun will beat down on you in the parking lot, and in some of the areas that you play as it's all outdoors. There are plenty of beautiful trees and palm trees providing shade, but when you do have a moment in the sun the sun is really beating down. Upon entering it's a large video arcade area and actually a bit crowded with children enjoying themselves. We were just there to golf so we did not partake in those. Also there is a large batting cage there which looks like fun, I would like to try that sometime. There are 3 different courses to choose from, and they are all pretty fun with 18 holes each. Once you hit your ball into the 18th hole you are finished with the course and don't get your ball back. It's really serene and peaceful because there is so much area with water flowing and you're able to sit and relax while waiting for people ahead of you to finish the hole. It's true as someone else wrote in their review, some holes have been weathered and you can't see the hole number or what par, but this isn't a big deal to me, my friend and I were just having fun and not keeping score, and most holes said either par 2 or 3 not much more than that, so we just assumed one of those when we couldn't read it. At one area my friend's ball got stuck inside the house and didn't come out on the other side, so he went along to ask for a new ball but when someone behind me came along and hit his in, both balls came out. Other than that one little glitch in my opinion everything went perfectly. It was such a beautiful, serene, lovely day. Will definitely come back.

Another family date night. We decided on miniature golf. This was Cacey's first time and she absolutely loved it! Ced and I have been here before but this was a first with our babygirl. We came during the week which was nice because it wasn't overly crowded. During the weekend this place gets pretty busy. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were well kept and clean. Inside they also have an arcade so after golfing we played a few games, the arcade isn't huge but a good size and a decent selection of video games. We all had a really nice time together and I will cherished the memories that we created here.

Love this place. I love putting putt putt. I love gaming game games. Batting cages - I'm only used to hitting home runs - so I can't really practice. I'm glad it still exists because most places I like in Los Angeles have stopped existing. It's really making me feel weird. Thank you.

Fun Date Night! Sherman Oaks Castle Park is perfect for a night date, cool vibes, fun mini-golf, and a great mix of challenge and laughs. Even better as a double date! Highly recommend!

This review deals with just the mini golf side of it. Other parts may be better or worse. Wanted to do a game of mini golf for my wife's birthday. We were going to eat at El Cocinero (check out my review on that phenomenal place) and this was close by. This is probably closer to 2 1/2 stars than 3. The stars is average - what you were expecting. It was very average. For one, no Apple Pay, so you do actually have to use a physical card, something I hardly ever have to these days. Don't forget that. It's $12/round for adults with $5 replays. I assume you could replay a different course if you wanted. I think that's a very reasonable price in 2025. The course is not well maintained. We did #3 Sometimes I could barely see the hole number or its par value from being SO weathered. The 18th had no instructions and what targets/holes constituted what stroke value. The second one with the bridge I hit it in the correct spot, and when it came out the tube it was actually still on the concrete because of the debris buildup. Some of the holes I felt lacked imagination and were basically standard long puts with other irrelevant add-ons. This place could gain 1-1 1/2 stars with just a little course maintainence. I will likely try this place again another time to see if I caught them at an off time or what. The value is very reasonable so there's is that.

Chuck E. Cheese Location: 8425 Reseda Blvd…read more I've been a customer at this location for over 10 years, and this recent visit on 04/28/2026 at 3:41pm was extremely disappointing compared to the standard this store used to maintain. Several operational changes have significantly reduced convenience for families. The EasyNap napkin dispensers have been removed from tables, forcing customers; especially those with kids eating greasy food... to repeatedly go to the front counter or salad bar area just to get napkins. This is a clear step backward in customer convenience. The removal of the black trays previously provided with salad bar plates has also made the dining experience less practical. Without trays, carrying multiple items safely and cleanly back to the table is noticeably more difficult and has led to more spills and mess in the dining area. There is also a large sticker placed directly on the glass display blocking visibility of the salad bar, which negatively impacts presentation and the overall dining experience. In addition, the salad bar area appeared less maintained than in the past, with visible spills on the floor likely due to guests navigating without trays. While some cosmetic updates to the restaurant and games are appreciated, they do not compensate for the loss of basic functional amenities that previously made this location family-friendly and efficient. The service experience during this visit was also concerning. While cleaning up, I attempted to return a napkin container that was already full and had stated I was returning it myself. An employee named Sam insisted on taking it, ignored my response, and walked away without acknowledgment. What followed was even more unprofessional: I observed her make eye contact with another employee, Alisa, and both appeared to laugh, which came across as dismissive and disrespectful toward customers. Additionally, at the front exit, there was no staff present to check stamps or monitor exit control, and guests were able to walk out freely without any verification. This reflects poorly on basic store oversight and consistency. Overall, this visit did not reflect acceptable service standards for a location that has been operating in this area for years. Between the removal of basic customer conveniences and multiple service failures in a single visit, the experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. I hope corporate takes a serious look at both the operational changes and staff conduct at this location, as this level of decline is noticeable to long-time customers.
