Used to be great but now it's a Lower grade sushi and some tasted and smelled "fishy".

As soon as I walked in, was greeted and seated right away. Staff was very kind and checked in on us regularly. Ambiance was not loud, including music and other guests. Food was very fresh. Not overly sauced or seasoned, and the cut of the fish was excellent. You can actually feel and taste what you're eating. This is officially my top most favorite sushi place in Las Vegas until further notice. Will plan to return very soon just to enjoy more sushi with company, and for photos. read more

We walked in on a Friday night -- the place was empty. The small Filipino lady at the front told us we "needed a reservation." I asked if that was really necessary since no one was there, and she snapped back, "Yes, it's Friday night," like she was doing us a favor by letting us breathe inside her restaurant. When we said the place was empty and maybe we should just leave, she laughed and said, "Well, you could." Unbelievable. I've never seen a restaurant go out of its way to chase customers off, but I guess that explains the empty tables. came here with the fam and walked in and we were seated right away. they have ample parking available in the lot and it's a convenient central area. It's very clean and spacious inside. The staff here were all beyond incredible. All of them worked seamlessly to clear out table when we were done eating certain dishes without being overbearing. My friend and I came here to enjoy the ACYE. We each ordered several rolls and everything was exceptional. The Phili Deep Fried was my personal favorite. The inside was clean and the staff was friendly. Even though it was somewhat busy, the food came out rather quickly. Our waters were constantly being topped off and plates taken away. We made a reservation for 730 on a Friday night. when we got there, they made us wait 20 minutes for a table - infront of the restrooms...We ordered edamame, egg rolls and drinks right away. They brought the eggrolls and drinks. Then we ordered some sushi. The fish is good quality But they really skimp on the rice on the Nigiri. They brought us the edamame at the end of our meal. Also, throughout the night we had at least four servers bring us desserts. Nobody knew the table numbers. Which is odd. This is clearly a family place. I think it's great if you have children, smaller portions, and good prices for those portions. We won't be back but everyone seemed nice- it was just chaotic in there. read more

Been wanting to check this place out. Fairly good product. As most AYCE places nowadays the nigiri pieces are much smaller. The service was quick and pleasant. Some variations on some items were just okay. The Screaming Orgasm for instance. Very little to the dish. All in all a pleasant experience. We ordered takeout with a curbside pickup. It took about 15 minutes to be ready and we live nearby. This is my favorite place and I was able to share it with my girlfriend who just moved here last year. I love the California Rolls and we discovered some new favorites! She loved the Supreme Veggie Roll without the beets, the Coco Roll & Royal Shrimp Roll. My new favorite discovery was the Grand Canyon Roll! The chef sauce mixed with the shiitake mushrooms, scallops, and onions was a hit for me! I also enjoyed the Salmon Roll that was baked. We were order #95011 We definitely recommend this place, their prices are lower when you order directly from them online. If you order from Uber Eats the prices are higher. My California Rolls (Regular) are $3 direct, through Uber Eats they're $6. They're not available to order through DoorDash. When we picked up our order the food runner was helpful and polite. I'm pretty bummed out about our experience yesterday with Blue Fin. We'd been out there a few months ago, and everything was fine. We had a pretty serious sushi craving yesterday, so we decided to go there again, as they open at 11, and we were hungry. Service started out pretty fine, and our servers were actually pretty friendly and prompt. The quality of the fish itself was fine, fairly standard. The issue honestly was with the sushi chef who prepared our orders. For starters...everything with sauce was WAY over sauced. I ordered a Screaming O, and it was just drowning in the mayo sauce. Not only did it impact the flavor, but how wasteful. you don't need to drown your dishes like that. The garlic tuna was so over sauced that the rice was falling apart. And the last bit that was majorly disappointing were the handrolls. First of all, we had a server come over to take our order that didn't have an ipad/notepad, whatever it is that they use to take orders, and so we were concerned that our order wouldn't be correct, and it wasn't. We ordered spicy shrimp handrolls, and they arrived and were not spicy. So we sent them back. When they came back, not only were they made with "spicy crab" instead of shrimp with spicy tuna, it was clear that they had been taken apart, a little spicy sauce added, and put back together...but they were half filled. All 3 of the hand rolls we ordered were half filled. Usually, you get rice filled all the way to the bottom of the little nori cone, and then the topping and fish on top, but we had a good inch of empty seaweed. Its just laziness. I'd recommend coming here in the afternoon or weekends rather than opening time mid week. Like I said the fish itself was fine, it wasn't bad or anything, but the presentation and accuracy were really disappointing this time. Huge shoutout to whoever was manning the fried appetizer station though, as the gyoza and shumai were absolutely incredible. read more

This place is so different from when I visited five years ago... Now, it's unrecognizable--almost feels like a Thai restaurant. When they said they didn't have the ribeye steak listed on the menu for my youngest, who can't eat sushi, we should've just walked out then. The most of sushi didn't look or taste anything like what we know and the fried dishes were soggy, soaked in oil, and overcooked to the point of being burnt. The uni was strange orange color I've never seen before. My husband and eldest son ate without suspicion, unlike me. My husband and eldest son seem to have diarrhea and food poisoning and they are struggling with frequent trips to the bathroom all night long. This was honestly the worst restaurant I've ever been to in Vegas in terms of freshness. It would be hard to find Sushi that isn't fresh and bad food in Vegas. read more

My family and I have been loyal customers at Blue Dolphin Sushi for years, visiting once or twice a month. We've always had the same simple process walk in, they ask how many, confirm everyone is doing all-you-can-eat, and we're seated. If there's a wait, we wait. Never an issue.That all changed this past Friday at 6 PM. We walked in and weren't even greeted. No "hello," no "welcome" the very first thing out of the host's mouth was, "Did you have a reservation?" I looked around and the restaurant was practically empty. I asked, "Do I need one?" and was met with a very sarcastic tone: "It's Friday. We would expect you to have a reservation." So I asked, "Should we just leave if we don't have a reservation?" She turned and said again, dripping with sarcasm "You can leave." She then aggressively grabbed menus and started walking us to a table, but at that point we had already made our decision. We left.I will not tolerate being spoken to that way, especially when I'm a paying customer trying to enjoy a meal with my family. We've spent good money here over the years, and this is how we're treated? It's worth noting that staff turnover at this location seems to be very high there are new faces almost every time we visit. The owner really needs to step in and teach the front-of-house staff how to treat customers. A simple greeting and a respectful tone go a long way.You've now lost a loyal, long-time customer. Terrible service, idiotic crew-members. We ordered only a couple of things for pickup and when I arrived inside no staff acknowledged or greeted me for about 10 minutes. There were 2 customers there before me waiting and already frustrated, I asked them how long they've been waiting and they said 20 minutes! All the food for pickup was just sitting behind the counter ready in the to-go boxes while the staff did everything else they possibly could besides just hand us our food. And when I asked one of the workers she said "our boss told us to focus on the tables and ignore the pickup." Absolutely ridiculous then when she finally got around to bagging my food SHE STOPPED MIDWAY THROUGH TO GO ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE RESTAURANT AND HELP SOMEBODY ELSE. I don't understand how it took another 20 minutes later for them to put the boxes in the bag and hand it to me but at that point I felt like they were messing with me and I just wanted to leave already. Blue Fin Sushi & Toll in Henderson has been my go to spot for the last 3 years. During the pandemic, they stayed opened and we would eat here at least once per week. I never felt insecure about eating here the entire time. The food here is great. No complaints whatsoever. The sushi is fresh and very good quality. They package the takeout food really well, which I appreciate. The service is just as good. Super polite and kid every time. In three years I've never had a bad service here I can't say much about the ambiance, since I've never ate inside. But I can imagine is top notch.
