I've been there twice, same experience, excellent service and care. Intake is friendly and smooth. I felt they genuinely cared about my well being the minute I walked in. I had that same feeling throughout my visit. I was seen relatively quickly, a few people ahead of me. The physician was was friendly, professional and was thorough in his questions about my condition and concerns. I had injured my upper body in a recent car accident. I was thoroughly examined and released. Prescriptions were immediately sent to a nearby 24-hour pharmacy. I walked in, saw the doctor and picked up my prescriptions all within 90 minutes. Dr. Hind Elsanousy, MD, is such a sweetheart. She really came in and helped me out. She suggested something I was initially scared of and uncomfortable with, but she took the time to explain the pros of the medication. When I tell you that agreeing with her couldn't have made me feel better, I mean it the trust I gave her, she truly exceeded. Also, Robin, the receptionist, is always such a doll and a great conversation starter. I love a friendly and welcoming person! This place is a complete joke. Don't bother coming here. They are not interested in helping patients solve medical issues and are heavily constrained by the for profit medical system to a degree that they cannot provide care. The dr here might as well work at the DMV, the type of people who know you don't have other options and don't seem to give a fuck. I pay an exorbitant amount of money for healthcare. $500 a month that is basically useless when I need care. We need major healthcare reform in America. As long as we are willing to tolerate for profit healthcare companies making decisions about the type of care you can receive the system will remain largely ineffective and inefficient. read more

I went to UMC Quick Care on December 15 at the Wheeler location. After signing in through the kiosk, I was quickly called to the window by Robin. When I told Robin that I was experiencing issues, she was immediately sincere, compassionate, and supportive. She took the time to help me fill out my Workers' Compensation paperwork and made sure everything was handled correctly. When I checked out, I saw Robin again, and she went above and beyond by making copies of the paperwork I needed for work. She was extremely informative, kind, and patient throughout the entire process, which meant a lot to me. I also met with Dr. Kane, who listened as I shared my story. He was compassionate, understanding, and truly present. He even gave me a hug during a difficult part of my story, which I will never forget. He has a kind face and kind eyes, and he genuinely made an effort to put me at ease during a very vulnerable moment. He provided statistics and information related to what I was experiencing, which helped comfort me and made me feel less alone. I just want to say how much I appreciate UMC and their staff. The compassion and willingness to help--especially in a medical environment where everyone is often rushed--was outstanding. Thank you, Robin. Thank you, Dr. Kane. I went there for a workers comp. I got very sick the week of my follow up I rescheduled to go after i got better and when I it there the physician Michael Kane talked to me like I was irresponsible and like a child. He didn't even bother when I told him I was sick bad and couldn't get up and leave the house. He question me about my job and when I say I do lifting he told me that managers don't usually work like that. He made me feel like I was lying. Then told me I lost my workers comp because it took long for me to get there and that he was discharging me. Didn't even ask how I was feeling. I will not recommend this place to anyone. They care more about the money that they may get from workers comp than the health of the patient. read more

I came to this location for a dizzy spell, red blotches under my eyes, and a weird feeling in my knees. Dr. Michael Kane dismissed my concerns saying there was nothing wrong with me. I told him I had seen a nurse practitioner in dermatology for the red splotches. He proceeded to insult nurse practitioners and physician assistants by saying they do not have the education and experience that MDs have. He stated I needed to see a real doctor and not someone mid-level. Who is he to degrade people who are not doctors?? I felt dismissed and not taken seriously by Dr. Kane. He also stated I did not have COVID without even testing me! He stated "you probably aren't going to like this, but COVID was just the flu. We don't do flu tests here. You can look it up." He wears a sign on his badge that says "if you are on your cellphone, I cannot help you." I agree with this to an extent, but he doesn't have to be a walking billboard. The receptionist called Brenda it's extremely rude, I called to make an appointment and she told me that I don't need that I can just walk in, I did appointments before for the same location to not wait for hours, and the two times I tried to make the appointment with the same lady, she rudely refused to do so. read more

I went there the first time in July when I was hurt at work. I first went to UMC quick care on Buffalo and Lake Mead. I was sent to the location on MLK and Lake Mead to get x-rays. I first thought i don't want to drive that far. Little did I know I love this place, if you have to go this is the place to go. I hurt myself again and decided it was worth the drive again. Brenda who checked me in wad efficient and very friendly. The wait was wasn't long. I went to the back and Mark in x-ray was a joy and made you feel comfortable and very nice. I need to apologize to my nurse, I didn't get her name but she was amazing. Then there is Dr. Brown. He treated me in July and now today. All I can say is I wish he was my primary doctor. He is Great!! Perfect bedside manner and makes you feel like you can trust him. I was so happy he was my doctor again today. Overall this is the best place if you need medical attention. honestly have never written a review for any sort of business, DO NOT come here unless you want to waste you're time. I saw APRN Deseree Palafox, came in for nausea and vomiting and she asked if i was pregnant even after multiple times of me telling her there's no chance of pregnancy in ANY way. Not only did she ignore that but she did not listen to my symptoms and when I did a urine sample she said it came out as positive for pregnancy and could not explain how it could be positive and kept telling me i needed to get an ultrasound to see if i'm pregnant when i told her again i was not she dismissed me and a few moment later she decided to send me a prescription and ask me to take another urine sample. when i began to sign my discharge papers with another worker she came running into the room saying that test came out negative for pregnancy. when getting to my pharmacy she prescribed me tylenol and over the counter medication for gas, i told her repeatedly i had no other pain and have been feeling nauseous since the day before and was unable to stomach any food or liquids just to have wasted $50 trip to urgent care with no help and having to just buy a different over the counter for my symptoms because she prescribed an over the counter for GAS. dont comer here unless you want money and time wasted with poor care since she obviously does not know how to care for patients and listen. read more

First time at UMC Quick Care and I was completely satisfied with their overall care. The entire team was focused on giving exceptional service and care. The security person, registrar Dorian, nursing assistant Annabelle, Mark the X-ray tech and Dr. All showed professionalism and compassion. The facility was fairly clean, considering it was a afternoon visit. My only recommendation would be if there was a staff person that could attend a Spanish speaking patient, I was happy to assist.
