    Removing stitches day

    We ended up here after my 10 years old son got hit in the face with a baseball and split his lip. As a parent, seeing your child hurt is stressful, but the team here made the whole experience so much easier. They got us in quickly, were incredibly kind to my son, and took the time to explain everything they were doing. Doc Hansen and nurse Edric were so patient and gentle with him. You could tell they genuinely cared and wanted him to feel safe and comfortable. The way they spoke to him calmed his nerves right away, which made such a difference for both of us. They did 4 stitches to his up lip and made sure we knew exactly how to handle the aftercare once we got home. I left feeling reassured and grateful. Thank you for taking such good care of my little guy -- we couldn't have asked for better!

I specifically requested that I not be prescribed the antibiotic known to cause Achilles tendon problems. Although the provider assured me it was not that medication, I later discovered I had been prescribed Cipro. As a result, I suffered significant Achilles tendon pain for over a month. My most recent visit was even more frustrating. I came in with an eye infection, left ear pain, and other symptoms. The provider did not examine my ear or throat and did not perform a physical assessment. I was simply prescribed eye drops and sent home. A week later, I am dealing with worsening symptoms, including ear pain, a sore throat, fatigue, chills, and feeling generally very sick. Had my symptoms been properly evaluated during the visit, I may have been tested and received appropriate treatment sooner. Based on my experiences, I do not feel that my concerns were thoroughly addressed, and I would not recommend this clinic to friends or family.

    I visited Best Urgent Care on 12/13/2025 and was seen by Dr. Hamid while experiencing severe pain…read more From the start, I felt like my symptoms were not taken seriously and that I was being treated as if I were exaggerating my condition. I paid prior to being seen and again before I left. During the visit, Dr. Hamid asked about my occupation and proceeded to make negative comments about the company I work for, which felt completely unprofessional and unrelated to my care. After reviewing the X-rays, Dr. Hamid told me that nothing appeared to be wrong and that there were no broken or fractured bones. I went home expecting prescriptions to be sent in, but I was not provided with any medication to help manage the significant pain I was experiencing. Because the pain continued to worsen, I went to Southwest Medical the following day, where they repeated the X-rays. They discovered that I had fractured my 10th rib and prescribed appropriate medication to help manage the pain. Recently, I received a billing statement from Best Urgent Care that only reflected the initial payment I made before being seen. When I called their billing department, I was told they only see one payment and that there were two dates of service associated with my visit, which is completely inaccurate. I only visited the facility once. Between the misdiagnosis, lack of appropriate treatment, unprofessional comments, and questionable billing practices, this was one of the worst healthcare experiences I have ever had. It raises serious concerns about the level of care provided and how billing is handled for patients who may not fully understand their insurance. I would not return to this facility and strongly encourage others to carefully review their billing statements.

I ended up waiting for over an hour despite having an appointment. I don't understand why they would call me over if I was going to also be waiting at Cheyenne. I've never waited this long and had an appointment. Needless to say by the time I got back I was anxious. I asked the assistant who was about to administer me my TB test if it was okay for breastfeeding women to do this. He had to double check with a nurse who then had to wait on response from a doctor. Two days later I came back just to have my TB test read. Same thing. Still had to wait. Someone who was training looked at my arm for less than a minute. And then send me back to the waiting room to wait some more.

I'm a single mom with a new born at home, my 12 year old is sick and her throat was hurting so we rushed to the after hours urgent care because the one we normally go to was already closed. We checked in and let the front desk lady know that we would wait in the car after we registered because the lobby was full of sick patients and I have a newborn at home and I cannot risk getting the baby sick. She was very rude with us and said because we were a walk in appointment we were not to leave the lobby bc if we did we would lose our place in line. I said it usually lets us know what number we are in line in the txt message link they send to our phones and she said well I can't force you to stay here but if you leave and they call you then you will lose your place in line. I didn't want to risk getting sick so we waited in the car and kept refreshing the link until it was time for us to go back inside the lobby. It said there was 4 people ahead of us in line so we walked to the door and rang the door bell several times and she wouldn't open the door. It was freezing outside so I told my daughter we could go wait in the car and try again when there was one patient ahead of us. Once it alerted it us that we were next we walked up to the door again and rang the door bell over and over and she still did not answer the door for 6 min. Finally she buzzed us in and we took our seats waiting to be called. it said there was one person ahead of us in my txt message link. We sat in the waiting room for another 45 minutes watching everyone go back to be seen until I finally stood up to go ask why they haven't called us back yet? She replied the nurse called your name and you were not here. I told her that we were in the lobby and nobody called our name. Their front desk girl who was working at 9pm on May 18, 2026 was rude and had a bad attitude. She said we had to start our wait all the way over because we weren't there when they called our names and that there was an error on our registration paperwork. Mind you it is now 11pm and the lobby was still full. She didn't care my child was sick and didn't feel good, and that we had been waiting this whole time. It honestly could've been possible that the nurse called us back when we were stuck outside the front doors when she was taking forever to buzz us in the lobby. the owner should check the cameras and the time stamp. I paid a sitter to stay with my newborn so I could even bring my other daughter in. The whole thing was honestly a waste of time. She could've been nice about it and said I will get you back there immediately since you've been waiting but because she said we had to start the whole process over I was furious and left. We will not be coming back Get a new receptionist

We've been seeing Dr. Mimi and her staff ever since she took over this clinic from Dr. Vu a few years ago. From the very beginning, her and the team have always been welcoming, friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. There have been several times where Dr. Mimi has gone above and beyond with how she genuinely cares towards our 3 year old son. But the one instance that really impressed us was when our son was about 1.5 years old where he contracted hand foot and mouth from daycare. It was around Christmas 2023 when we tried calling to see if she can see our son in clinic. We found out she was out of town but she then offered to do a telehealth appointment with us just so she can see our son and confirm it was HFM. It was so nice of her and reassuring that she was able to do that even with the holidays while spending time with her family. The clinic is separated into two areas- one for well child checks and the other side for acute/urgent care needs. We've never had a problem scheduling or calling the clinic to make an appointment with her in a timely matter. What's nice is that she now has expanded her practice to a second location in Summerlin with more available times with other providers to ensure our son is seen for any urgent needs. 10/10 with the friendly staff and great service. I definitely recommend Dr. Mimi and her practice!!

We came to this pediatric from recommendations from sunrise hospital due to other pediatrics not taken my son heart condition seriously. With LV pediatrics I get the opposite always friendly they all greet my son and remember us . Never makes us feel like we're dumb if we have questions. One thing really stand out to me ,recently I had another baby and Dr. Mimi notice she might have a heart murmur. After she left her staff came in to finish up and due to my son heart condition I was crying thinking the worst. The staff noticed and I think she let the doctor know . Doctor Mimi came back in to reassure me everything was okay and it was normal on babies . She acknowledged my feelings and reassured everything was okay .
