We had such a great experience at UMC Quick Care - Peccole Ranch! I brought my husband in with a dislocated shoulder and he was in a lot of pain, sweating and really uncomfortable. I checked in at the touchscreen and within about 15 minutes they already took him to the back. While I was finishing paperwork, Shae at the front desk was so friendly and attentive--she really helped calm things down. Then she brought me back to the room where my husband was already talking with Dr. Hansen. Dr. Hansen was awesome--he explained everything clearly and walked us through all the options so we could decide what to do. After that, Melisa took him for X-rays and everything just kept moving smoothly. Big thanks to Nurse Edric and Dr. Hansen who got his shoulder back in place right away, and to Virginia and Medel for taking such good care of him during the process. Everyone was kind, efficient, and really on top of things. What started as a stressful situation ended up being such a smooth and positive experience. I've been to this location multiple times and have always received good quality care. I've been fighting bronchitis recently and went there for evaluation of my symptoms. I will never, ever return. The staff was actually very condescending and rude. This location is literally 5 minutes from my house but I will not return. Went last September, with a split forehead, after one of the gym equipment fell on my head . They were nice and professional, asked me if I am safe at home, which I understand they have to ask. I dont recall the doctor's name, indian lady, very nice and professional. She took her time and stitched me, tried to stop the bleeding and explained every single step of the procedure, as opposed to the radiologist that was a bit of a prick. I cannot even see the cut anymore, great job. She took pride and what she does and I thank her for her passion and dedication. Went back to remove the stitches, and met a Rn, very kind and professional as well. Many thanks to Evelyn Figueroa, APRN. I have been to three doctors trying to get help for a very painful eye condition and still needed to go to urgent care yesterday. My eye was stuck shot and extremely painful. I have conjunctivitis in my eye and no one has been able to treat it effectively until Evelyn. Today is the first day I have experienced no pain in my eye and actually able to keep my eye open in 20 days! She was just wonderful. What's more I felt like she knew exactly what she was doing which is sometimes not the case with doctors. She's not only extremely competent, she has a wonderful bedside manner. This quickly turned from five stars to negative review. Front office staff and Shay were amazing. But with the follow up and quality of care, I'm left in pain and in tears trying to referred to a specialist my insurance pre authorized and the specialist waiting for submission. They claim I need prior examinations and imaging before I get seen and I've confirmed from both my insurance and specialist that their claims is false. I spent weeks calling UMC to ask for help, called my insurance right after in circle for weeks. It's been a month now and I've had to endure the same pain I went in for. No accountability and no care. UMC support team said they have multiple locations and thousands and thousands of patients so I am just a number to them. I changed my primary doctor, left UMC primary care and now seeing a new doctor who quickly referred me to my specialist. I would advise to save yourself the headache. ------- Initial review: Shay was amazing!! I was late for my appointment and we were getting ready to schedule for me to come back another day. She did her best and figured out an available slot for me that same morning. That's how you know they truly care for each and everyone that comes in and they will go above and beyond. I had a great experience at UMC Peccole Quick Care with Dr. P. Hansen and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The wait time was surprisingly short, and I was quickly brought back for vitals and placed into an exam room almost immediately. Dr. Hansen came in promptly, thoroughly addressed all of my symptoms, and clearly explained the next steps in my care. Shortly after, the nursing staff came in to review my prescriptions and make sure I had everything I needed before leaving. It's always discouraging having to visit a quick care because expectations these days are often that the process won't actually be quick. This team completely changed that perception for me. The entire visit was efficient without ever feeling rushed, and I never felt like corners were being cut. Unfortunately I've had the need to go to this UMC, mainly because I needed a place that both have a Doctor in it and I could got an X-ray done. Walking in the nurse that had put my information in the system was very nice. I've waited a while but not too long to go in. Then after the second nurse had asked me all the relevant questions and put that info in the computer, it felt like they forgot about me. I've waited a VERY long time to see the nurse again, and almost two hours total till the Fr came in. It might seem reasonable for some, but it honestly didn't feel like they were too busy. Either way , the DR was nice although I felt like they could have treated me better. This was draft i forgot to post, and now I have more experience with a friend that walked in. She first filled in the information and wasn't called for half an hour. Walked up to them and was told she wasn't at the system. Then she was finally called (over an hour from the moment she walked in!), only to be treated VERY RUDELY. read more

The worst office. Dr, Paner is rude, mean and has no bedside manner at all, she does not treat her patients like people. She didn't listen to me or look at me once. The office scheduled me for a ton of tests which I did, and then booked me for an appointment months out. When I called to confirm they said she isn't even available that day and tried to reschedule my appointment for another 2 months out. They then wouldn't book my appointment due to my insurance (which has been covering my appointments there) This is how people pass away and things get missed. Don't see this Dr. Martha, the phone agent was also not helpful at all and was very rude. read more

We ended up here after my 10 years old son got hit in the face with a baseball and split his lip. As a parent, seeing your child hurt is stressful, but the team here made the whole experience so much easier. They got us in quickly, were incredibly kind to my son, and took the time to explain everything they were doing. Doc Hansen and nurse Edric were so patient and gentle with him. You could tell they genuinely cared and wanted him to feel safe and comfortable. The way they spoke to him calmed his nerves right away, which made such a difference for both of us. They did 4 stitches to his up lip and made sure we knew exactly how to handle the aftercare once we got home. I left feeling reassured and grateful. The nurse, Veronica, was incredibly attentive and patient, carefully listening to my symptoms and recording them in detail. Kasper, a male nurse, has always been very kind and helpful to me and my family. The doctor, Evelyn Flgueroa, didn't shy away because of my cough and cold; instead, she actively tested me, which moved me deeply. The nurse practitioner at UMC primary care abruptly stopped my Ozempic that took me about a year to build up to, then accused me of lying about having diabetes. Care quality is poor cause I talked to her about tapering me off at least. She said she doesn't have to. My blood pressure was high cause I was angry and the only thing they did was check it one time to show that it was high then told me to leave. I discharged myself before they killed me. I called the office to discharge me and all I said was negligent care was the reason. I think I got a ok, bye. Yeah poor overall office experience. The staff was amazing. We showed up 10 minutes before closing with a child who had dehydration. Lisa and Tamara were amazing at check-in. I was only seen by a nurse who keeps ordering test after test, and every single one has taken way longer than I was told. On top of that, multiple people who arrived after me were taken in before me with zero explanation. No communication, no urgency, and no respect for patients' time. This place is incredibly disorganized and a complete waste of hours. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. read more

Maybe if the lady, with the blonde top, red bottom hair, didn't spend 20 minutes talking to a patient about home schooling, nails, blah blah blah, (another person had to step in to help me, since the first one was taking so long) the guy who came in AFTER me wouldn't have been called in (to be seen) BEFORE me. This review is for the Primary Care as it shares space with Quick Care. I was actually a little confused upon my arrival as it was only my second time using UMC Primary Care and my first visit was at the Summerlin, Buffalo location there are two separate entrances. This is not the case at this location. Same door, same waiting area except the Primary Care and Quick Care patients have separate seating areas. I am establishing care through UMC so this was my first visit with a doctor. I saw Dr. Kaye Cunningham. She was great. Explained everything and addressed my concerns. Did not feel rushed at all. My wait time upon check in and in the exam room was reasonable. I also love that they have early morning appointments so scheduling before work is an option. Would definitely recommend. read more

All the staff ( Denise, Edric, and Dr. Hansen) were very helpful and caring. I came in with an infected puncture wound on my wrist due to my cat biting me the previous day. I received wound treatment, an Rx for Doxycycline and a tdap injection to prevent tetanus, as well as written instructions for wound care. I took the anyibiotic as directed and am happy to say that my wound was completely healed within about 10 days. read more

This was the worst clinic experience of my life, not only did I receive terrible service but I was also charged another payment weeks after my visit for "testing" fees that was never explained to me in the first place. I've never seen that before at any other clinic, you pay in full and that's it. They had me under the assumption that I paid in full, and surprised me with a charge weeks after. Regarding the service I was given, they prescribed me some crap that upset my stomach and didn't help at all, after seeing a real specialist, I was told I should have never been prescribed what I was prescribed. DO NOT GO HERE, go to urgent care down the street instead, they are much more transparent and give stellar service. read more

My son had a wrestling injury & needed an X-ray. The entire staff at UMC Quick Care-Peccole Ranch treated him quickly & with kindness. Dr Hansen was in the room before I sat down. He ordered an X-ray immediately. James took good care of him during the X-ray. Dr Hansen quickly showed us the injury. Virginia, Edric, & Medel helped apply a shoulder brace & sling. Dr Hansen referred him to an orthopedic physician. Prescription were sent to our pharmacy. We were in & out in less than 45minutes. We experienced excellent care with caring medical professionals.
