Cinco de Matcha, made with blueberry instead of strawberry (they were out, and the barista suggested this- amazing!)
    Erin F.

This is one of the best spots to stop in all of Cincinnati/NKY. Stop by for a treat or sit in the colorful, light-filled space for a while... the owners and staff are so friendly, the global connections are unique and inspiring, and the drinks are delicious... the Cinco de Matcha is one of my favorite drinks ever. There is also ample parking in 2 free lots nearby as a plus. Dayton, KY is off the beaten path and definitely worth the stop.

This is a great coffee shop! The food and coffee are delicious and quick. There are plenty of places to sit as well as an areas for kids to play. Everyone is very nice and it's cozy!

I loved all of the gluten free dairy free options! Didn't try any, but they looked amazing. Staff was very friendly and the whole place had a cozy vibe and welcoming place to sit and hang out. Even had a children's play area! Delicious coffee and unique flavors from Honduras I think!

Having a large coffee and a protein bowl. Yum

Super cool place here in the Cincinnati area. Wish we had one like this is Chicago. Coffee is great and the protein bowl was Filling, great way to start my day.

Nice little coffee shop in Dayton, KY. Discovered them at the Cincy Coffee Festival, and had been wanting to come over and try them. Went for the Two Leches Latte - very good! Shop is nice - they also have breakfast/lunch food options. Highly recommend, for the coffee alone. Service was quick, and the coffee is great!

My first time and I will have to say the space is beautiful nice and bright. It's perfect for families with small children as they have a play area. There was a wait for my coffee but when I got it was so delicious. I ordered a dulce

Unataza is a great little neighborhood coffee shop located in a very walkable pocket of Dayton. They offer great coffee if you're a no frills drink kind of person but also offer some variety in their menu if you want to switch it up. I stopped by in the morning before work but definitely want to come back when the local shops nearby are open to have a little coffee & shop day.

Love coming & getting the seasonal coffee flights! Always pretty quick but does get busy.

Quaint coffee shop with a wonderful breakfast menu as well. It's not a spot for large groups, but perfect for small groups and families. Their empanadas are amazing, but the breakfast tacos are a must for me at each visit! And you can't go wrong with any of their coffees. A big plus - they have Cholula, which I always add to my breakfast tacos. My son's favorite is their avocado toast. Service is always pleasant and it has a very relaxed feel. Much better vibe than some other chaotic/ busy coffee shops.

I'm obsessed with this place. Their coffee is delicious and their food is so so good too. They are super nice people also!

A superior cup of coffee from Unataza is a difference maker.

Rather than drinking the abysmal coffee at the hotel I made a special trip to Unataza Coffee. Great ambiance with a free parking lot across the street this local coffee shop is my favorite go to spot whenever I visit the Greater Cincinnati area. Pleasant service and a superior cup of coffee to start the day makes my day.

I really, really liked this place. I was in town for work and happened to find Unataza on Yelp. A good friend of mine had left them a glowing review so I was sold rather quickly. I arrived around 9am and I was cheerfully greeted by the super friendly staff. I got settled in and when my coworker arrived, we went straight to the counter to grab some coffee and breakfast. They have a rather nice menu consisting of breakfast and lunch items like soup, salad, breakfast tacos, pastries, and more. After looking things over I settled on a lavender latte and their avocado toast, which was a recommendation from the barista. It didn't take long for my order to be up and they brought it straight to my table. I love that when I'm at a coffee shop. These days you wait for your name to be yelled out... not here. My latte was great but the avocado toast was the star of the show. Sourdough bread, avocado, cilantro, queso fresco, and a creamy jalapeno sauce. Not only was the portion huge, but it was down right delicious. I would order it over and over again. Great call by the staff. The space itself is vibrant with a ton of natural light and fun art. There is plenty of seating as well as outlets if you need to juice up a device. If you're looking to visit a new coffee shop in town, or you happen to be passing through like I was, Unataza will do you good.

The option to add a shot of bourbon of your choice for a modest upcharge is such a fun, elevated touch that sets this café apart. The staff is also so kind!
