Attention Drug Company reps.... this is a very good place to get catering for your doctor's lunch appointments. Good job guys! The staff greeted me when I first walked in and we're very friendly. There were about for people that all stood around and welcoming me and carried on with conversation about the way they prepare their food. I was even joking about their sign twirlers on Highway 95 and said they do a good job but they assured me that they only work for 20 minutes at a time and are required to drink plenty of fluids. It's kind of like a Famous Dave's but here in Bullhead City. However I can honestly say this place has better quality meats than Famous Dave's (no-knock Famous Dave's). As you walk into the place from outside they have smokers that are burning would that really gets you in the mood for barbecue. As someone who really loves to cook I'm a very harsh food critic. I really enjoyed this place. I ordered the brisket the baby back ribs and a half a chicken. The brisket was so tender that it practically fell apart when trying to serve it on the plate. The baby back ribs were very tender and the sauce complimented the ribs perfectly. You couldn't ask for ribs much better than these. I also had the grilled chicken and the flavor was awesome and the meat almost fell off the bone it was so tender as well. I will definitely be back! read more

We ordered the whole smoked chicken wings, back ribs, brisket, fries and corn muffin. The chicken wings were dried out, the back ribs were good, and the brisket was soft but lacked flavor without the sauce, the fries were good, and the corn muffin was good but was served covered in butter. Their barbecue was similar to the highly rated John Mulls Meats & Road Kill Grill in Vegas which I was not a fan. I'm a fan of Rollin Smoke Barbecue in Vegas. I guess you can't expect too much because these foods are not made to order an more than likely are sitting in a oven. Maybe barbecue is better for lunch than dinner. read more

The aroma that greets you in the parking lot lets you know you're in for something delicious, and we were not disappointed. The decor was delightful. Our waitress was indulgent, welcoming and knowledgeable, like a favorite cousin. We sampled several items before ordering and never felt rushed. In the end, everything was delightful. Ribs tender and flavorful, brisket fell to pieces on the way to my mouth, fries could've been the freshly cut and fried ones from the county fair. My husband's catfish was mouth watering, and my daughter's pulled pork scrumptious. What did I order? The salad with smoked chicken on top. Make sure you try the Chipotle dressing. Oh, the baseball sized corn muffins were excellent as well. We got to speak to Uncle Bo himself- personable, knowledgeable and down to earth. I really wish the best for this location. Went a few weeks ago when they first opened. Service was eh. I ordered ribs, too bad, we are out of ribs. Huh, BBQ and no ribs ? Wife ordered something else. Can't remember what it was, but doesn't matter, they didn't have it either. Got talked into the bbq chicken. It was Ok. First impressions are so important for a new business :-( We will try it again in a few weeks and see if they got a handle on things. I see the good reviews, but I'm sure they have more family than the amount of people that reviewed. Being a good cook has nothing to do with running a good business. My husband and I came for a late dinner while staying at the Hampton Inn. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I got the smoked chicken, which was juicy and very tasty, plus collards and coleslaw -- everything was excellent. My one objection was the corn bread which came literally drenched in a butter sauce... I wish I had read that prior to ordering (or they really should have mentioned the butter on the menu) as it made it inedible for me; fortunately, the waitress was happy to bring me a plain one. My husband was disappointed that they were out of beef ribs, but really enjoyed the brisket and liked the pork ribs. We both loved the blackberry cobbler --- a very large portion, home-made and topped with lots of berries and ice cream. We will definitely come back if in the area again! read more

This place was amazing. The service was amazing, food was amazing, and they really went the extra mile to make us feel great! We had our pup with us so opted to sit outside. The owner himself brought us water for our pup and then later brought us hamburger meat for him as well! I had the brisket sandwich and everything was perfect from the bread to the slaw to the brisket to the sauce! I love brisket and I love BBQ sauce and this place does it right. These guys surprise me every time I eat there. They get better each time, the service is always good. The smoked sausage is the best I've ever had. OMG if I could give this place a zero stars, I would. This place is WAY overpriced, $18 for a brisket plate served on disposable service ware, small, small, ( did I mention small?) portions, dry with a choice of either runny and watery bourbon sauce, house sauce or Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce, self serve on the table. The bacon jalapeno mac and cheese had a decent flavor but the noodles were undercooked and the texture was gelatinous and goopy. My husband had the pulled pork, also very dry. Our waitress was courteous but forgot my husband's bread sends she didn't reappear until it was time to bring the bill. I always, very courteously, tell the waitress if my meal was not good and she did offer to have it remade, but honestly, if it sucked the first time, unless they cut meat from another, fresher brisket, it was going to be more of the same. She offered to ask if we could get discount coupon for another visit but at those prices, I don't see us returning, even if the food had been delicious. read more

This place is really good. We always get the family meals to go and it never disappoints. Prices are very reasonable with large portions. Our favorite is the brisket. The Cole slaw is amazing. The macaroni and cheese is lacking flavor but the Jalapeño Mac n cheese is much better. The rolls are just basic Hawaiian rolls. The baked beans are delicious. I recently wrote a less than positive review for this establishment, but I now have good reason to amend what I reported. As indicated in my previous post, I returned to speak with Bo about resolving a billing error. I was treated with great respect and sensed a genuine concern from this gentleman to not only resolve the matter but to gain my continued patronage. We covered the initial billing problem from every angle and it appears that a final and positive resolution is just days away. Bo and his wife, Angela, demonstrated a more than generous amount of patience throughout this ordeal. I am also impressed with his generosity, offering me a full refund and more if I so desired.....not typical of most dining establishments in this demographic region. So, if you're looking for good food and outstanding customer service, please give Uncle Bo's a try.....you'll be glad you did! read more

Now this is good eatin' in the neighborhood. We've gone at least 3 or 4 times since November 2019. Wife loves the sweet tea. Staff is great. I've ordered differently each time - entrees one week, apps another. The jalapeno mac and cheese is great and ALMOST as good as Chick fila (hands down my personal favorite) but I always choose it when I need sides. I recommend the salad with pull pork or brisket on top. Everything is served on your own tray. Loaded baked potatoes (are loaded with brisket or pulled pork) and quesadilla are good choices from the app menu. Elyria finally has a great BBQ joint. We are new to the area and spotted this place while driving through Bullhead City. The wonderful aroma from the large smoker out front drew us in as soon as we got out of our car. We arrived at lunch time and were seated right away. My wife and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich. Both of them were ordered with the BBQ sauce, coleslaw and fried onions on the sandwich. The sides we ordered were mac and cheese and fries. A dill pickle spear came with the sandwiches as well. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic as was the mac and cheese. The fries were OK but nothing to rave about. The brisket was lost in the sandwich. I pulled some of the meat out and found it to be moist and having a great smokey flavor. It should be ordered solo instead of on the sandwich wear it's great flavor and texture was lost. The service was fast and very good. The restaurant was clean and the decor was very nice for a BBQ spot. We will return. read more

In my opinion It is truly the best BBQ in the area. It is only there seasonally at this point, but will soon be a permanent part of the area. Had stopped by after several good reviews through friends and social media. Owner is a very engaging gentleman who took the time to come out and greet us, offer samples of any of his food, and explained his operation. After we placed an order, he took time to show us the smokers he uses out back. The brisket was absolutely delicious. Tender, juicy, melt in your mouth with just a bit of Char. Jalapeño Mac and cheese was tasty, without being overly spicy. We are looking forward to going back soon. This restaurant is a great addition to the Midway area. I ordered a few sandwiches and the armadillo eggs to go on the day they opened and it couldn't have been a better experience! The staff was very friendly and even Bo himself was out front helping out and talking to customers. As for the food, it's even better than advertised.
