Eric and Devon (I think!) and their team took care of my oil change. They were polite and did not upsell me, but had appropriate recommendations. However, they went above and beyond when my car wouldn't start after the oil change. Patiently they tried to jump me and checked my battery's health. All to no avail. However, Phillip arrived at work and was so knowledgeable, patient, and polite. After troubleshooting, he figured out I was using my key fob incorrectly! (So embarrassing! It's my daughter's car, but still!) They didn't accept any additional payment and were so kind as they made a million excuses for my ridiculous error. I'll be back again and again! read more

Uncle Ed's will rip you off and short cut the job resulting in problems for you. On Feb. 8, 2025, I requested an oil change on a 2023 Explorer and advised them they needed to remove the skid plate to properly drain the oil. They told me this was unnecessary - which is contrary to the Ford Service Manual - and proceeded to change the oil + filter. They then used a high power water jet to spray the skid plate which no doubt deposited used engine oil on the engine and elsewhere on the undercarriage. The sloppy job was completed very quickly they then charged $136.32 (which included full synthetic and and air filter). Sure enough, afterwards the smell of burning oil was seeping into the passenger compartment. Returning to Ed's they denied a refund and the Corporate site did not even acknowledge my issue. I ended up going to the Ford Dealer who did another oil change properly, cleaned up their mess, at a cost of $75. Lesson learned - don't go there with a nice vehicle unless you don't mind paying a lot for poor workmanship. read more

My husband got a coupon for a free oil change (after getting his done). By the time I went there, the coupon expired but I wanted to see if they would still honor it (worst thing they can say is no). After getting a "good afternoon," the guy started up-selling me on nitrogen in my tires for $36. They could not accept the coupon, but quoted me a price of $80-something (I have a SUV and would expect a higher price). WTH? I've never paid that much before. I declined their offer and left. I went to a Chevy dealership nearby and got an oil change in 30 minutes for $53. Won't go here again. read more

Last week I stopped in for an oil change and tire pressure check, when I arrived I was asked if I could wait 10 minutes. I obliged and waited far longer than 10 minutes. After they finished and told me I was good to go, I asked them if they filled my tires "oh shoot, I forgot" was their reply. This isn't the first time this location has lacked attention to basic details. You pay for a service and shouldn't have to worry that they will forget what you came there for OR in the case of my previous visit, double charge me accidentally. A few days later I received a phone call from this shop, asking about my experience. When I asked if they were calling to offer me something in exchange for the trouble, they replied "sorry, we can't do that". Why are you calling me then? Pretty comical. Uncle Ed's charged me $80 as their "cheapest price" oil change. Although I pulled in right away and was greeted, I waited for them to service the car who pulled in after me first, and there were several more staff members than cars. read more

The service is fine, but $82.00 for an oil change is way too expensive. The same oil change at the dealership costs me $35.00.

6-8-2011: I had my oil changed here in January and whoever was doing the maintenance put the air filter back on my car backward! I can even recall him punching it to get it back in. I called my father after I left stating that I would never return because of it. The day I left my car started running strange - it was chugging almost. I thought maybe I put in bad gas, I thought the oil change was bad, etc. I took my car to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out. Today my car breaks down on Telegraph. I get it to the dealership and they tell me that the air filter was put on backward and it is $800 to fix! Needless to say I will not be retuning. I have a call in to them now to see what they can do. If they fix it I will update! 6-10-11: Update!! They covered the fix! About one hour after I called the manager he called back and said that they will cover the charges. He ended up buying the part for me ($250) and having another company install it ($80) because it was far cheaper than having the dealership do it. They also paid the $100 diagnostic charge. Moved my review from one star to two. Excellent customer service but I still don't think I'll be returning. read more

I went it for an oil change on 1/14/2022. The manager repeatedly tried selling me on many maintenance items. I told him I was only interested in the oil change. Then he hit me with more "required" maintenance items. When I said no he went below the vehicle. He and another tech were talking about me loudly. I overheard them saying how "some people just don't take care of their vehicles". This is my second similar experience with this place. The first time I thought it was the manager, but it appears to be the way they do business. The experience was similar to attending a time share sales event. (Background - I drive a 2016 model year vehicle. I drop my vehicles off at the dealer twice annually and get everything completed to their recommendation. Very rarely do I come across vehicles kept as well or better than mine.) read more

This totally shifts my opinion on uncle Ed's. It is now highway robbery. A normal full synthetic oil change should not cost me more than $50. Here at this location I'm almost paying double. I will not be returning as I can go to other places; I only came here out of necessity before a trip. read more

I would highly recommend to continue searching alternative oil change services. Uncle Ed's is much more expensive than any other company I've been to. I went in thinking I would spend $35 (bc I had a coupon) and left spending $75. The conventional oil change that they advertise at $45 does not include the mandatory cost of the oil filter and only covers you up to 5 qts. My car apparently takes 5.75 qts which they didn't tell me until after the fact when I questioned why the bill was so high. I was also roped into purchasing an air filter as mine was past due at $24. All in all, my 5W20 oil change cost me $61.23. Not the $45 advertised on their website. (They did apply $18 worth of coupons to help cover the new air filter). read more

I sent my 17 year old son to just get a regular oil change for his 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and he came home with a $385 bill. They used synthetic oil, changed the power steering at 14,000 miles and did an engine cleaning. He drives to high school and to soccer practice and neither is off road. They "highly recommended" these services but he had no idea what he had just committed to. These guys would charge you for changing the air in your tires if they could. Never again read more

Came here once for an oil change for a 2012 Chevy Cruze. Before I walked away (to hit up Pet Supplies Plus and wait for the car to be finished) the manager stopped me and explained that because I have synthetic oil, it would be more expensive than I thought. The manager, whose name I don't recall (I am so sad about this), had no obligation to stop me or explain the situation, and I think it's very commendable that he had the morality to explain it to me and not let me spend extra money when my personal dealership could do it for cheaper. I've recommended at least 10 people here since this happened, because if they can't have my business (I'm too broke for the cost of the synthetic oil change here), they deserve EVERYONE elses'! read more

Well the guys were nice and bubbly but failed on a basic level. After 20 minutes I finally ask did the have my oil since no one asked. He never heard of Amsoil and no Mobil 1. Two of most popular full synthetic oils they have neither. Kendall which is basically Wal-Mart or shell oil. Pretty sure your factory warranty is garbage is they know you used garbage oil. And then it took ten minutes to leave because they talked me into wiper blades which I needed but would normally never pay double price for. Especially considering they don't have basic name brand oils. On my way out the young fella says hope your day gets better. Well it did when I saved $50 by not using carp oil and went to a place that was a third cheaper with premium synthetic oil. This place is great; I wish they also did body/engine work. They are friendly, pretty quick, honest, explain everything, and give very generous coupons and top-off services. I was there before opening today and was fully ready to wait, and the fellow came out and opened the shop 1/2 hour early because he saw me waiting. You really don't see service like this anymore. Got the Oil changed in my sons Chrysler 300 and with wiper blades it cost $80. I thought it was kinda high but was happy to get an e-mail for a free Oil Change in the next 30 days on a 2nd vehicle. Unfortunately when they saw my coupon the mood changed and excuses started flowing. First - my oil looked good and did not need changing. (Told them I stored the vehicle for a while and needed it anyway) They then said the WIX oil filter was on too tight and it could not be removed ? 2012 Wranglers use a newer filter that is up high on the motor and can be removed prior to draining oil (They refused to let me remove it or change oil without new filter) After being denied service I went straight to the Chrysler Dealer 1/2 mile away and they had no issue with the "TIGHT FILTER". Dealer cost was $31 and done quickly. I will NEVER go to this location or Any Uncle Ed's for that matter. Unprofessional and Scam artists. read more

Do not go here. I was totally ripped off. I was told I was a quart low and that I needed power steering fluid. I got home and found out my husband had just had the oil changed the day before! At another Uncle Ed's location. I complained and was told I would get a refund, but no such luck. Never received a penny back. This place should be closed. This is terrible business. I am about to take a road trip down to Nashville and took my car to this location of uncle eds to get a quick oil change. Went through the whole process, they had my car on file and proceeded with the oil change. Kept insisting I was a quart low and kept trying to charge me for other expenses on my car. I politely declined. When I got home, my dad informed me he had taken my car to an uncle eds to get the oil changed just yesterday!! I am furious that they had all my info in their system including my last visit and yet didn't say anything. They also tried charging me for new power steering fluid, saying I was getting a "deal" at $70. Looked the same fluid up online and it was $8!!! Never taking my car back here. Beware, they have a shaky sense of morals. Will stick to my regular mechanic instead! read more
