Decent pizza place in the Brentwood area. This chain has grown immensely since their humble roots at Commercial Station (I think this is their original location). Glad to see they're doing well. Parking is supposedly available for free at the Solo lot. Supposed to be free, but who knows if some overzealous attendant is guarding it. Place is new and modern. Looks squeaky clean, just like all their other locations. Pizzas cost a bit more than the competition, but the quality is there. A nice touch is the sesame seeds they sprinkle on all the pizzas. Staff were friendly. Pizza was hot and filling and delicious. Definitely worth checking out, whether it be for a slice or a box. They have some combo specials as well which include a drink.

This place has become my go to when I am in the area. The current take out promo of a small pizza plus pop for $7.99 is an excellent deal. I usually have 2-3 slices of pizza so this can make 2-3 meals for me. Good value. There is no restriction on the number of toppings or you can choose from the specialty pizza. There is a wide range of both meat and vegetarian pizza. My current favorite is beef and blue cheese with mushrooms and onions. You can also request for sauce to be drizzled over the pizza. The garlic sauce is delicious! As my small pizza is made to order, it is usually a 10-15 minutes wait. The place is popular with people working in the area during lunch time. Be prepared for a wait.

I'd rather give them a 4.5 but I don't think this place always warrants a 5 which is okay!! I think they have great pizza toppings and can usually always accommodate last minute group orders (sometimes we just crave pizza!). Their prices have increased, know everything is inflating, but it's still a good deal for pizza. Some staff can be a bit abrupt but I'm there for the pizza not the dining experience.

Uncle Fatih's is such a great pizza spot! My first time trying was from their Commercial/Broadway location and have been hooked since. I was super stoked when they opened one in Burnaby (MUCH closer to me). I have stopped by randomly several times and usually get a few slices here and there. You really can't go wrong with pop and 2 slices for $6! Also very recently, we ordered their Meat Lover and Hawaiian pizzas through UberEats and both pizzas were delicious! It definitely hit the spot!

Honestly it wasn't so badd because I was starving, I was in a big rush I have been running around all day. But now that I think about it this is probably one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. 711 pizza is better than this place. 711 pizza is actually pretty good lol. I bought 2 slices of pizza. I can't even begin to tell you how much cheap ingredients were on the slice of pizza. The cheese was zombified, sesame seeds sprinkled on the pizza? I had to add 2 different sauces on my pizza to make it taste decent instead of the moldy rotten cheese bread taste. Yo bro when ya don't got it ya don't got it

Uncle Fatih's brings back memories of my university days when I would get off the bus at Commercial Drive and walk over to their Broadway location. My brother wanted pizza for lunch so we made our to the Brentwood location. Parking in the area is kind of a headache. There is paid underground parking. There was a large selection of pizza of choose from. We each ordered 2 slices and 1 pop combo ($5.25). Service was fast. The pizza slices have a decent amount of toppings. I just wish they actually tried a little harder to reheat the slices that the slices would actually be warm to the touch instead of room temperature. Also, as it was New Year's Day and no one else was there, staff could have wiped down the tables as they were greasy. Good price for the amount of food you get and the selection of pizza is nice. Great for those looking for an affordable snack.

Open till 1 am mon to Thurs and 2 am Fridays and Saturdays! Surely a welcome addition to Burnaby's non existent late night eats scene. Seems to have opened only for a few days so probably not many customers so far. Pizza by the slice was $2.25 although they are running a special (2 slices + can of pop $5.75) Large variety of pizza by the slice although a little disappointed that more than half the choices had mushroom on them. As I said, just opened so probably not that many customers so pizza tasted like had sitting for a while.

We ordered online which was simple enough. I think if you pay cash/debit in store , you get a free pop with each pizza. We got the meat lovers and chef's best pizzas and the website said it would take 30 mins to be made. It is a small turn in off Canada way into a Plaza with a few parking spots. You cannot turn back left onto Canada Way by the way. The inside had a dated look , kinda like diner vibes. Pickup was quick. Nobody dining in. First thing I noticed was the pizzas were very heavy in weight. For a 10" pizza I thought the price point was a but high at $23, it jumps up to around $34 for a 12"( medium). However, the pizza was almost like a deep dish pizza as there was a lot more dough than usual pizzas but a generous amount of toppings. Meat lovers was packed with meat but I just felt it was a good several bites before it started to feel too dense and greasy for me. The crust was crisp and cooked nicely. It reminded me of homemade pizza in the way that nothing really stood out to me. It was good , and filling, but just no wow factor for me. In conclusion though, I have many pieces for lunches for the week!

Both were absolutely scrumptious. The base was perfectly balanced with salt and softness. The chilli oil was delicious. A bit pricier though. Also, we were not told that chilli oil costs extra, just asked if we wanted it. Our server sat us at the large table because all of the others were full. There is one more waitress who appears to be the boss or manager in some sort. She was quite arrogant when she approached us and told us, "You're not allowed to use all of the seats because this is a community table." We were just settling in and were unaware that it was a community table. I suppose in the service profession, there are better ways to phrase some things than to swoop in and command guests. Despite the fact that the pizza was delicious, we may not want to return to dine in. Service really matters to us. Even if the ambience and food is good, if the service make us feel uncomfortable and offended, it leaves a sour taste in our mouth.

Wonderfuly light and flaky phyllo filled with layers of warm spinach. I was pleasantly surprised how warm it stayed and long the pastry remained intact and not soggy. My partner had the Greek Ribs & Chicken which came with all the Greek fixings ( rice /Greek salad / potatos / tzatziki & pita). The ribs has a nice seasoning run on them but like most Greek chicken ( I found it was quite dry). The potato's were not heavily lemoned either. It really was just a roast potato. We also had a Baklava. This was over sweet & heavy with what I found similar to the taste of black licorice or ouzo. Personally not a fan. We lucked out and got a seat to eat but most people appear to be doing take out orders and pickups here. Food takes a while to be ready so be ready to wait and eat with people sitting or standing waiting for their food. There is small side table, window counter and larger side table but there is definitely not too many places to sit. I'd recommend just puting in an order before showing up to save on waiting time. Staff was friendly despite how busy it got. Located on Hastings St. Plenty of street parking & side street parking and definitely transit friendly.

The restaurant wasn't even busy; maybe only 3 tables seated- yet we stood by the entrance for a good 5 minutes with staff clearly seeing us, but no one coming to greet us. When a waitress finally started walking over, she randomly stopped to take another table's order mid-way. Then another waitress spent about 2 minutes counting tables before finally seating us. Not a great first impression. For appetizers, we ordered the Toscana salad and meatballs. The salad was just okay, nothing memorable. The meatballs were a real letdown. They looked piping hot when they arrived, but were disappointingly lukewarm inside. Honestly, the focaccia that came with it was the best part of the dish, especially when dipped in the pomodoro sauce. Mains were a mixed bag. The caserecce e tartufo was actually good; pasta cooked al dente with a rich, creamy sauce. I'd suggest adding pancetta to cut through some of that richness. The tagliatelle al ragu, however, was absolutely disappointing. There was barely any sauce on the pasta and the dish was completely bland; no flavor whatsoever. We each had about one bite and couldn't bring ourselves to eat more. Would not recommend. The tiramisu for dessert was decent but not great. You could tell there was too much mascarpone and not enough ladyfingers to balance it out. Overall, this was a subpar visit that left us disappointed. Between the inattentive service and inconsistent food quality, I can't recommend Sopra Sotta when there are so many better Italian restaurants in the area to choose from.
