Pizza place seem to have quick turnover as I liked that their single pizza slices are "more" freshly made than those fresh sliced pizza chain franchise stores I have visited. Also, what was really great and to my liking was their pizza dough texture. I enjoyed their soft doughy texture, which I prefer alot more than the crispy pizza crust. Service was quick and efficient. Place is clean with big display window that lets in natural lighting. There's a long table with over 10 chair to dine in; though this may not be the place to hang out for a long time. It's in a convenient transit friendly location, right across the street from Joyce sky train station and very close to bus stops. Easy for customers to pop by for a quick pizza break or to pick up a whole pizza to go. Being so easily accessible via SkyTrain makes it a good choice to pick up a freshly made pizza via public transit. I stopped by recently to buy a pizza for a picnic. I grabbed a full 10 piece mish mash of whatever was available. In general, I thought the pizza was good. There was a good variety of flavours available. The Italian sausage was my personal favourite. The crust wasn't too heavy or deep so it made it quite easy to chew through. My only complaint was that it was a pain to figure out the pricing. I checked online trying to figure ahead of time how much it would cost to buy a full sized pizza. For whatever reason, you're forced to choose it to be an extra large after you've chosen the flavour. It seems pointless to list a price for the pizza, and then force a surcharge to get the required size. I think it's like $33 if you order a full pizza of one flavour, vs the $30 I paid for for 10 slices of whatever is available. read more

The location of the Super Great Pizza is very easy to find, but it's hard to park the car if you are driving. The Pizza store is very small. Only a few tables inside. People can eat in or take out to go. Personally, I prefer to take out. It's a very great place grab to go. The pizzas in this store are very presentable and cheap. One Slice for $2.50 0r two slices with pop for $5. It's a very great deal. Pizzas have lots of toppings, cheese, and vegetable on Top, which is very great. The pizza was very tasty. I have been here a couple of times on my commutes because it is right by the skytrain station. The pizza itself is actually quite good and miles ahead of the commercial chains like domino's and pizza Hut. Unfortunately it gets busy pretty often. The size of the restaurant isn't great and finding seating is not always easy. The pizza is tasty and cheap though so people including myself keep coming back. I call this place "Ghetto Slice Pizza" and it took me a moment to remember the real name before I searched this, haha. Ghetto Slice Pizza pretty much sums it up, though. The establishment is dirty cheap (emphasis on dirty), run down, and hot even in the winter. It's literally right across the street from the Joyce Skytrain station and the tables are always dirty. But there's always a line. And the same staff has been working there for a long time now. And the pizzas taste so good. A lot of people I know prefer Megabite or Panago or Flying Wedge, but I can smile to myself about them knowing that when I pick up pizza to take home from Super Great Pizza, my pizza's twice as big, twice as tasty, and twice as cheap. 18" pizza for 12.99 and freshly made in front of my eyes. Okay so it's cheap pizza. It's going to fill you up. $4.50 for two slices and a pop. There's not much more you can ask for at that price. That being said, It's not amazing. Very greasy (if you're into that, great!), the dough on the pizza is very thick so you'll start feeling it pretty quickly and its very hot inside (at least during the summer). When I went the selection of pizza was rather lacking, but it may be better at different times of the day. All this being said, people seem to love it! It use to be $1 pizza here and they served it fresh and hot. It's now $2. The quality isn't on par with before. Some of the pizzas were served cold and dry to me. I know it's a waste to throw those out, but I don't want to be buying food that has been sitting there for a while. If you're in time when they take out the pies from the oven or wait a while until they do, you'll be rewarded with a delicious fresh and hot pizza. I love their crust as it is not fried; it's soft, moist and seasoned with a little parsley. Variety is great. They stock Hawaiian, Pepperoni, Meat, Olive, Feta, Veggie and my all-time favorite, Garlic, which is oozing with fresh garlic, mozzarella and feta cheese. At $15 for a large pizza, it's gotten expensive. I say this because it's now around the same price as better pizza places. What attracted me to this location was the old prices: $1 for a slice, $10 for a large pizza. I really don't think any pizza is worth $15 or more. The aforementioned "Super Great Pizza". Being Indian, I can appreciate the lack of thought that goes into naming a pizza business (i.e., the Punjabi shop "D-Hut Pizza", a blatant rip off from "Pizza Hut", but who cares, it is open on Christmas Day). The pizza here is delicious, and as my lovely wife and I jog home, we often pass the long lineups of hungry patrons ready to indulge in a smattering of heavy, yeasty, greasy dough topped with mounds of cheese and toppings. For the price, the value is great. Cheese isn't cheap (and that's a shame), so $2.00 slices with THAT MUCH CHEESE, I mean... you cannot beat that. But I find that it's too heavy. If you want a slightly pricier but wayyyy healthier option, try Papa John's on Kingsway (of course, you may want to boycott them, seeing as their jerk-donkey CFO has cut many of his staff's hours in the USA as a childish response to the implementation of "Obama-Care"). read more

They can't quite claim to be both super and great, but one or the other descriptor completely suites their pizza. Their Super Great Pizza is thick yeasty crust, lots of mozzarella, and unique topping varieties of pesto, feta, chicken, and beef along with the usual varieties by the slice or in a whole pizza. A bunch of friendly guys and gals cook it pretty much in the open, as in you can see their oven from the diner because it's so small. Theres an old table with a dozen chairs and a little window side booth, but they're pretty much guaranteed to be crowded. Good alternatives to these include several parks a block away or apparently the parking lot around corner. Wherever you choose to eat your pizza is up to you, as are several free toppings for your slice, including Parmesan, chili flakes, hot sauce and some disturbingly warm ranch-ish dip. If you smother it with enough it'll just taste like toppings, dummy. And crust. But yeah, the pizza is pretty mediocre. It's a little cheaper than uncle fatihs or megabytes but not as tasty.
