decent cheap sushi, loved that they didn't wrap the sushi with massive amounts of rice. unagi don was great too, but the six pieces of eel were pretty thin

We looked into Uncle Fatty's Food and Drink last week through Door Dash delivery. Everything we had was assembled great, and the best part was, it was still delicious and not completely mushy. Over the weekend, we went to the store because we were around the neighborhood. Ordered to go. Food continued to be great, friendly service and not a long wait time. I'm not sure if we were speaking to the owner on the way out. However, he was kind and will be back next time. All forms of payment are accepted. Street parking is available. Check the street signs and meters.

Hands down the best take out ever! Here's what I got for lunch: Unagi don 5/5 Spicy tuna inari 5/5 Miso soup 5/5 Everything was fire!!! Super fresh and flavorful Highly recommend

Could not have been a better experience. Victor (I believe his name is) greeeted is and wished us a Happy Holiday. We ordered the Braised Pork Belly Donburi and the Ebi Tama Donburi and absolutely loved both of them. The pork belly was tender and succulent, a wonderful combo with the rice and greens. The Ebi Taka was shrimp tempura along with egg and rice. Both of the portions were large! I had the chocolate boba. a perfect balance to the saltier entree. We'll be back!

Tasty dishes and quite filling. Dan Dan udon has a different flavor from the Dan Dan I normally am used to but it still taste good. Pork belly is extremely tender.

Quaint local small business with friendly owners. Ordered the sliced steak donburi. Steak was cooked perfectly. Rice was cooked well, sauce delicious and the little pickles and vegetables went well with everything. Lunch specials are only $8 and are very filling. We got the chicken curry which is very well seasoned and delicious. Also got the pork belly bowl, very delicious sauce. Really appreciate that the favors are well balanced and not overly salty like most places. Definitely will go again.

All of this for 8$??? Not only is the pork belly lunch special a steal, it also tastes amazing, and there's still leftovers for later.

New place in cliffside park. Decided to pop in for their lunch special last week. The pork belly lunch special bowl is a steal for 8$! Also the pork belly had great flavor and melt in your mouth texture. Definitely will be trying their other items very soon.

Decided to try an order for delivery via GrubHub and compare dishes with two separate noodles, based on what they recommended for each best for delivery: Beijing Bolo with a fermented black bean ground pork sauce, a.k.a. Zhejiang Mien, including Size #2 pressed noodles thick like udon, scallions, and cilantro, plus Cold Sesame Noodles utilizing handpulled lagman. Both dishes I ordered medium spicy. The Beijing Bolo came in a bowl, while I needed to plate the Cold Sesame dish. Both were flavorful with tender noodles. Next time, more likely to go in person over delivery, and explore other dishes on their menu. It's a great option particularly for this neighborhood! Definitely would recommend trying out The Handmade Noodle!

I placed a pickup order, but when I got there my food hadn't even been started yet, so I ended up standing around for another 10-15 minutes. That part was annoying. I started with the cumin dry rub wings. They were just okay. Very tangy, not very spicy, and honestly a bit over cooked/fried. I'd skip the wings. The steamed chicken and shiitake dumplings were the highlight. They had peas inside and were actually really good. Super flavorful and easily my favorite item. I also ordered the cumin soup with hand-pulled noodles, medium spicy. Everyone warned that spiciness was intense, so I played it safe, but medium ended up being pretty underwhelming for me. The soup was also very oily. The minced pork was fine, nothing special, and while I liked the noodles, they could've been cooked a bit longer. Overall... meh. :/

I think many of the dishes here feel like they're missing something; the noodle soups lack depth, the dry noodles are pretty bare (just a ton of noodles with some sauce), and dumplings seem pretty standard. for a fast food spot, or rather should I say an express spot, can't say I can really expect much more but that does mean it's definitely not a first choice spot for me. I come here when I just need to get something quickly and I'm not feeling too picky about what I'm eating. I will say their soup dumplings are pretty good. The skin is on the thicker side and it's usually not overcooked so the skin doesn't break super easily unless you directly poke it. Recently I tried their spicy beef soup dumplings and this is the best item I've ever gotten here. You can taste the peppercorn in the soup. It comes with a vinegar sauce on the side that pairs well with the dumpling after you've taken your first bite. I think this is the most stand out item and I would come back to get that again. They have self served water and other utensils you might need at a self-serve station which is convenient. The tables arent usually too dirty. There's also some drinks available for purchase. Service is standard. They have a board outside promoting a deal but when I asked about it, it turns out they stopped doing the deal a long time ago

I decided to try the crab and pork soup dumplings because I heard they use real crab meat and not imitation. I also decided to try stir fried noodles with chicken instead of the signature noodles I brought from the other location. I would give my food from this location four stars but my overall experience five. My soup dumplings although very good, were smaller than the soup dumplings from their other location, and they also seem to have less broth inside of it. I also didn't get any crab flavor or see any crab meat formed inside the meat of the dumpling and it really tasted like I was eating a regular pork soup dumpling, it just didn't stand out like I thought it would. As for my noodles, although a different texture, it still lacked in flavor and the chicken was very good with it, but it needed more of it. Overall I would still like to revisit both locations just to compare the soup dumplings again, because I don't know if the express part had anything to do with the size of the dumplings. This location will definitely will stay in my files. Two thumbs up and Happy Yelping!

You have to go in person to join the waitlist, and the staff will not seat you unless your full party is there. It is always fun going on the weekend because they have specialty menu items. The food is consistently tasty and served very quickly. A few highlights include: - Banh Chung | Crispy Rice Cake: A solid starter to share among two to four people. The texture is chewy with a light crispiness on the outside. There is also a vegetarian option. - Vegetarian Curry: A savory yellow curry made with a coconut milk base. Really appreciate the variety of seasonal vegetables included. - Bun Ca Hai Phong | Fried Fish and Tomato Noodle Soup: Highly recommend getting this during the weekend! A nice alternative to the typical meat-based dishes. The tilapia is lightly fried, so the tomato broth does not become overly heavy, and the dill helps cut through any extra oil to balance out the flavors. - The beef noodle soups are also very good, but are more classic options. The rice platters are great to share since the portions are generously sized. The staff are always friendly and helpful throughout the meal. Service is very fast, especially considering the restaurant has always been full.

I knew I wanted to try the Half Peking Duck to share. We also ordered the Roast Pork Lo Mein, Scallion Pancake with Beef, Truffle Shrimp Shumai, Pumpkin Pancake, Pan Fried Fish Dumplings, and Pork Soup Dumplings, which were free, due to a special promotion. The Half Peking Duck was served cut up with the crispy skin, cucumber, onion, and oyster sauce, along with perfectly thin pancakes. The Duck was delightfully tender and well seasoned. The skin was a bit on the fatty side. It also could have been more crispy. All the trimmings worked well with the duck, including the crunch of the cucumber, sharp and savory profile of the onion, with the sweet, umami taste of the sauce tying everything together. Roast Pork Lo Mein was delicious and was packed with roast pork, onion, mushrooms, carrots, and snap peas. Noodles were cooked well. Roast Pork was juicy and flavorful. Veggies were fresh and nicely crunchy. Scallion Pancake with Beef was also quite tasty. The pancake exterior was satisfyingly flaky, with plenty of yummy beef and sauce inside. Truffle Shrimp Shumai was delicate, layered, with wonderful truffle taste and succulent shrimp. Pumpkin Cake was oh so sticky, slightly sweet, and mouthwatering with real pumpkin flavor. Fish Dumplings were lightly fried with mild flavored fish filling. Pork Soup Dumplings were just okay, as the skin was too thick and there was not enough soup inside. It is difficult to impress me when it comes to this dish, because I am from Shanghai, so know how the original, authentic version tastes. For dessert, I wanted the Mango Pomelo Sago, but they were out. A few minutes later, the waiter appeared with one on the house! This was a beverage that was light, refreshing, and citrusy, but the quality of the sago was not good and there was not enough of it throughout. Also got to try the Chocolate Mille Crepe Cake, which had many thin layers, was soft and fluffy, as well as wonderfully rich in chocolate goodness. Service was solid.
