Delivery Order: Pretty good Sushi. I don't really anything bad to say about the food but definitely not the best Sushi I have had. All the items were very well packaged and tasted fresh.

First time ordering from this establishment and the food was excellent. The sweet potato tempura with the ginger dipping sauce was out of this world. I had the spicy crab over Krispy rice with jalapeño dipping sauce that was awesome! The seaweed salad was very good too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a hidden gem! Located on a tiny strip of 4 stores, this place has a LOT to offer. The menu is seriously huge! I really liked their chicken teriyaki special. It is well worth every penny. You get well seasoned chicken that you can tell has been marinated for some time and cooked to order. With side sushi, couple of fried dumplings, veggies, miso soup AND salad with ginger sauce for under $20!!! The main reasons I KNOW this place is legit is: the ginger sauce is on point! When you go to Japanese spot their GINGER sauce HAS to leave you wanting more and hit your tastebuds in a certain way! And, their wasabi was not watered down, it packed a KICK! The other point is they marinated the chicken and not just drenched it in teriyaki sauce. So there is quality precision making skills used here. I will be stopping by again for sure!

Twice now and very satisfied both times. Very clean inside, food fresh and a lot of food. Got the bento box today and it was tasty. Ready within 15m as promised, efficient pick up and loved the rolls. This also came with miso soup (it was on point!) and salad with delicious carrot ginger dressing.

Today was my fourth time coming here and I have not yet been disappointed. Every time we come we try to get something different but today we got Cream Cheese Roll, Crunchy Roll, Star Crispy Roll with spicy tuna, Mango Tango Roll, Jumbo Dynamite Roll, Orange Chicken Bowl, and Salmon Nigiri. Everything we had was soo flavorful and soo fresh. We don't have a lot of sushi places near where I live anymore so I'm happy I found this place. Staff is super friendly and I look forward to sitting and eating there. Thank you, don't ever change!!

good spot for takeout. there was a misunderstanding but they rectified the issue. the ikura and eel pieces were my favorite!

Very tasty! I recommend the veggie shumai. Everything is super fresh. And aside from the food being 5/5 they have the kindest customer service. Will come back again. We got a platter to share between the three of us and its been more than plenty!

You order at the front and pick up your food when it's ready. It's actually a really convenient system, and since there is no table service, there's no expectation to leave a gratuity. The food itself is consistently good. The parking lot is very, very small and shared with the cafe next door, so parking can be a squeeze. Because it's so popular, it gets very busy during prime dining hours. Even when I've ordered takeout, there can sometimes be a decent wait to get your food so I recommend order online or over the phone ahead. They do charge a little extra if you pay with a credit card to cover the fees. If you visit during the summer months, you absolutely have to try the Naeng Myeon (cold noodle soup) or the Bibim Naeng Myeon (spicy cold noodles). They really hit the spot and are incredibly refreshing. Highly recommend!

Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

Perfect for the coldest days! At first glance, the restaurant's exterior and interior may not be the most alluring and modern, but the family-owned business is simply what it is. No flashing lights - just straight up sharing of good, healthy, homey meals. They're mostly known for their Soondae Gook ($15) with the original soondae, but I prefer their Soondae Gook with their veggie soondae (white colored soondae; not necessarily vegetarian) b/c I'm not comfortable with the aspect of "blood sausage." You'll have to specifically request all veggie soondae's in your Soondae Gook. If you're not up for Soondae Gook, their Seollung Tang (deep boiled bone broth soup w briskets and noodles; $15) is also good. Again, nothing too crazy, but homey... much of which reminds me of what my mom or grandma would cook at home. Enjoy!

The dining room was empty when we rocked up on a weekday late afternoon, and it was nice to sit at a table by the window for a street view. I love how theirs comes with loads of veggies, even as I question the use of green beans which is a first for me (to see them in sweet and sour pork). And while it was distracting and would rather have the dish without the beans, the star of the fish, the pork, was just right and we gobbled it up. I hope they stay open for a long time.

It's one of those places where you know exactly what you're getting every time. I know I can expect solid food, fast service, and a menu that works for pretty much everyone in a group. I do like that they have a button on the table to call for service and that's a quick turnaround time once you press that call button. They have all the usual Korean comfort dishes, and most of the staples here are consistently good. The hot stone bibimbap is always satisfying, the fried tempura comes out fresh and crunchy, and the yukgaejang has a good rich spicy broth that actually tastes homemade instead of watered down. One thing I always order for the table is the bulgogi patty. That is definitely one of their sleeper dishes. I did try the galbi jjim recently for the first time and unfortunately wouldn't recommend it. Especially compared to some other Korean spots nearby in Fort Lee, it just lacked flavor and didn't really hit the way a good galbi jjim should. Sub tier. That said, this place shines more as an everyday dependable spot rather than somewhere for one specific dish. Portions are fair, banchan is meh (they offer less and less each time I go), but it's easy to come here with a group because there's something for everyone.

My answer is always an immediate, "OMGOSH YES," and we know exactly where we're going -- Soba Noodle Azuma. We always get the cold soba combo, LARGE PLEASE. The soba is just SOOO good -- the right chew, the right temperature, the right texture, and the right amount. I used to get the small, now I get the large, but if I can't finish it, my husband will. We've gotten the combos with salmon sashimi, katsu, curry, chicken egg bowl, and the beef bowl. All were good, just depends on what you're craving that day for a little extra something on the side from your soba. And we ALWAYS get their cucumber appetizer. We love our cucumber apps, so we usually get it at every restaurant if it's on the menu, but azuma makes it THE BEST. We also had their okonomiyaki one time. It was really good and very filling, but I feel like it was over-sauced (but im also not a "saucey" type of person). They have other great things on their menu that we want to try, but we just can't get enough of their soba! They're BYOB, so that's a nice little perk if you want to have some light drinks during lunch or dinner. I want to go there with some sake one night and try all of their appetizers. Also, it's easy on the wallet for such good food and it's so filling. Great food, great value, nice casual and cozy atmosphere. The servers are straightforward and polite.
