This was delicious! I'm always hesitant to try a different sushi spot but happy I came here. It was quiet when I came around 6:30pm. A small quaint environment. I started with Lychee Rose Tea and Shrimp Shumai. The sauce with the Shumai was sweet and tangy. Perfect dipping sauce. The rolls were Super Fire Roll (my favorite), Galaxy Roll and Venus Roll. The Super Fire Roll was great. The jalapeño added a great punch and wasn't spicy or overpowering. The Galaxy and Venus were very similar. We knew we wanted the Galaxy but didn't know what the third roll should be. The waitress suggested Venus b/c it was popular. The were both good but definitely don't need them both with the same order. I enjoyed the Galaxy roll more, to my surprise b/c I'm not big on Salmon but it was actually very good. Will definitely be back to this establishment. read more

Don't be fooled by the humble storefront and cozy interior. Roll House Dragon has quickly become one of my favorite local spots since moving to the area, and I would argue its 'smallness' is precisely what adds to its charm. Service is incredibly warm and any needs that arose throughout our meal were quickly met (if not anticipated). We ordered a variety of dishes that I didn't even have the chance to photograph before my husband and I hungrily descended upon the plate. We tried two of their specialty rolls, both of which were fresh and incredibly tasty. I dare you to take a look at their menu online without salivating on your keyboard. If you're not a sushi fan, there's still something for you here. We ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl that would give Sarkus a run for their money. The pieces of chicken were flavorful and tender, with surprisingly robust accompaniments of a fried egg, avocado, and two fried gyozas. It's actually become one of my favorite and most crave-worthy items on the menu. The ramen fell a little flatter for us since it didn't seem terribly different from the instant Korean ramens we might make for ourselves at home. Still, it was predictably delicious and it was nice to have it without having to fuss with cleanup afterwards. read more

The BEST sushi you can get. Excellent service in a small pleasant environment. The presentation and quality of sushi is beyond belief. I drive from Manhattan to New Jersey for their sushi. Catherine is an incredible hostess and owner and she and her husband prepare outstanding sushi. Highly recommended. read more

Roll House Dragon is the kind of neighborhood spot I wish I had. No fuss. Delightful owners. Wonderful customer service. And you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's my cousin favorite neighborhood spot. When he walks in the owner Kathy greets him with a smile and by name. The second time I visited guess what? She greeted me with the same smile and by my name. It warmed my heart. The ingredients in their fusion sushi rolls (I love the Fire Dragon Roll) and seafood poke bowl are so fresh and it's the best that I've had. The fried pork and chicken dumplings are tasty, moist, and with the perfect crunch. And the Lychee Yogurt Tea is so delish and refreshing. Yelp led me here one night and I wish I could go back in time.... This establishment has many high reviews, but I wouldn't say this is a place that stands out as one of the best around. Not that their sushi was bad, is just wasn't worth a next visit. First- Their rolls aren't sized properly for their sticker price. The Spider Roll (one of my ultimate favorites) is not worth the money. It was tiny and tasted generic. You would normally see some crab legs sticking out of the roll as a nice presentation, but no, not here. Second- Overall their sushi rolls and even the Miso soup was small sized. You would think they would offer something worthwhile being a hole-in-the-wall spot to suite the price tag, but nahh. Last, but NOT least- This is the key highlight to pay attention to... I got the Shrimp Tempura appetizer and they gave me a non-fresh boxed version. How do I know?!?! I have seen this tempura in Costco... yup, the Shrimp Tempura that they use is fake. Overall... tiny rolls that do not suite the price and generic fake ingredients make this a NON-authentic sushi spot... BUT, they do offer a wide menu other than sushi. read more

I've been here on a few occasions and the quality is always fantastic! Great, unique special rolls and solid classics too. The service is also incredible- the woman who takes orders is so kind and friendly. She even chased me down the block when I left without my bubble tea! Inside is small but decorated nicely. This Japanese-style restaurant serves sushi and the like. Come here for date night if you're looking for a cute spot. Food: This family-run spot serves sushi and Japanese-style food that will fix your craving. We came here for date night dinner before a movie. My partner and I both ordered from bowls (poke bowl and teriyaki chicken bowl) and I got the Spicy crab roll on the side. The portion size was a lot bigger than I anticipated but I was hungry so I was able to finish the whole thing. Our double date partners got a couple rolls which looked quite good as well. They got the miso soup to start which I thought would be a good move for a return visit. Service: Our server's gave us the time we needed with the menu and it was nice that all of our food came together. Overall, they provided a very calm and friendly dining atmosphere. Ambiance: The decor of this restaurant stood out to us the most about this place! I should have taken a picture. I ordered delivery from here and loved it! I got the make your own rice bowl, bubble tea, and deep fried dumplings. The price is average for this cuisine in the area, but higher than other types of cuisine. It was about $25 (before delivery, tip, and tax) and $34 after everything. The veggies in the bowl were SO FRESH! I couldn't believe how quickly I got through it. The tofu was seasoned well but a little dry. I wish they had shrimp or tuna as an option for protein in the rice bowls - that would have made it perfect. The only real critique I would give is that the bubble tea was frozen, which made getting the balls at the bottom difficult. I would definitely go here again if I was in the area. read more

It's a small, casual restaurant with friendly staffs. It may only have 4 or 5 tables, but their food is amazingly delicious! I've tried about 5+ different rolls so far and all of them have been superb! The price is bit high to my taste so I've been eating there once a month past 3 months now, and I will continue to do this for as long as I can! read more

I'm updating my review to say that 1) Roll House Dragon doesn't do wings anymore (too bad, because they were SO GOOD) and 2) I'm not mad at them anymore for taking wings off the menu, because their sushi is terrific! Work paid for my lunch, so I let my stomach do the ordering. Everything arrived well-packaged and appealing. The flavors and textures were on point, the spicy stuff was spicy, the crunchy stuff was crunchy, and all of it was fresh. Roll House is mostly take-out/delivery, especially during COVID times, but the restaurant is pretty small, so I'm not sure if dine-in is even an option. Parking is a pain around here too. Don't be afraid to order via delivery. They really do pack it well! read more

What a lovely restaurant :) the sweetest owners in all of the land. They treat you like family and the food they serve is phenomenal. My good friend, Dave was raving about this sushi restaurant so I had to check it out. Their sushi is incredible, so fresh and so yummy. If you're skeptical, don't be! This place is AMAZING! It's only my first time ordering take out but, WOW!, this is the freshest, tastiest sushi I've had in a long time. I'm obsessed! We got the fire fight roll, spicy red dragon roll and the sun-rise roll. They were all so good. The spicy red dragon was seriously the best! I'm always nervous to get sushi from unfamiliar places but I really hope this place lasts because they are great! And a bonus is the people that work or own the place are so so nice! Only con and it isn't their fault- Yelp has the menu wrong and they don't deliver on Yelp so I was confused when they called to tell me my food is ready. It was worth the short drive. We went here for the first time on Good Friday and were not disappointed! I had the shrimp tempura sushi which was fresh and delicious and my husband had the chicken teriyaki and he ate every drop. We also had the popcorn shrimp as and appetizer and that was also excellent. The staff was attentive and the place was very clean. There was a wait and the staff was very apologetic and offered to call us when our order was ready for pick up. She did and her estimate on time was right on point. Everyone was masked and Sociàl distancing was enforced so I felt entirely safe there as I ordered and picked up my order which is a big concern for me during COVID-19 times. read more

So, I'm not one to eat my sushi raw or partake in partially raw sushi...I generally go for cooked or baked items. The spicy ramen plain was delicious. Great spice noodles were on pint. I got plain because I'm allergic to seafood. The fried rice was a sample they gave me to try and I can say it was really really great. Highly recommend this place. Staff is super nice read more

I was completely blown away, by the amazing customer service. Yesterday my husband and I walked into this restaurant to order some sushi. Everyone was so nice, so comforting, so attentive. It truly stood out. We ordered a Tiger roll, shrimp tempura, avocado roll and a couple more. The food was outstanding. The lady at the desk even gave us a complimentary miso soup for just waiting an extra 5 minutes. This place has officially become our favor sushi restaurant in Ridgefield Park. read more

Horrible when it comes to servicing you in a timely manner. The timing that they provide for either door dash or any delivery service is all incorrect. It somewhat a bait and switch so you can lock your order with them. And if you decide to cancel forget about getting your refund as they also find a way to delay that as well. At this point, we believe the high ratings is based upon the fact that customers were probably starving by the time they received their food and had no other option. read more

The bowl was MASSSIVE and seemingly much bigger than what they typically give for takeout orders, although their takeout poke bowls are very generous too. For our kids, we ordered the House Special Fried Rice, which came with eggs and Chinese sausage. It was a solid fried rice and we were quite surprised it came with Chinese sausage because it's an ingredient we rarely see used for fried rice entrees at restaurants. Overall, our dining experience here was good and we loved that it was nice and quiet. It never got super busy, but a few parties did come in after us. The bread and butter of their business is definitely takeout though.
