Everything is made fresh to order and may take a little time. But it will be brought to your table after a generous serving of chili that can compete with any on the main land. While you wait, enjoy a Painkiller. This is another specialty that can now be bought by the gallon and brought home. The location is right off of the main road, but you wouldn't necessarily notice except when a truck drives by. His friendly dogs will keep you company and are always protecting you from local wildlife. Coco Jim's is a highly recommended experience for anyone visiting St. John. We ordered an F-bomb frozen drink that was COMPLETELY refreshing on a warm day. Happy hour is early 2:00-4:00, so know that if going for dinner. For entrees, I got a Tropical Poke bowl with tuna (they also offer two other kinds of fish). It was chock-full of pineapple, pickled onions, sushi rice, and other goodies. In other words, a typical fresh poke bowl. Our other entree was a jerk chicken lettuce wrap with chili flakes that was really good and deceptively filling. At the end of the day, this was a great meal and atmosphere, and we would return if we have exhausted all options in Cruz Bay.
