Why did it take me so long to come! I've driven by Uncle Tony's for years and never stopped in until today and thank God I did. Uncle Tony's BBQ was OUTSTANDING! We went on a Saturday evening around 5pm so a few items were sold out (collard greens, cabbage and another side) So keep in mind if you've got your heart set on something( come early). Ordered a variety of meals. Everyone had a favorite. My mom absolutely devoured the smoked chicken (leg and thigh). It was perfectly seasoned and smoked. My husband had the ribs and pulled pork. He said it was very tender and moist. My niece who's 9 had brisket for the first time and ate every last bite of her kids meal. She loved it and said she wants to go back soon! The customer service was exceptional! The lady at the counter was so patient and extremely friendly. In fact everyone working there was great. Everyone said "hello" and welcomed us in. Unkle Tony sure knows how to make some BBQ! Went here for dinner last night before my flight and was so glad I did. I ordered the sliced brisket, smoked chicken, corn bread, baked beans, fries and washed it down with a lemonade. The brisket had a lovely char and seasoning, and the flavor and moisture was spot on. I've had a lot of great brisket in my life, and this was definitely one of the better ones. The smoked chicken was so good. I don't normally get smoked chicken because it can be overly dry, but Tony's was perfection! I might have liked that more than the brisket tbh. The standout for me though was the beans. I was not ready for those to be that good. By far the best baked beans I've ever ever had. The little bits of brisket meat, the sweat tangy sauce, the spices. My mouth is watering just thinking about those beans! And to make it all the better was Unkle Tony himself. He is such a great guy and made me feel at home the whole time I was there, even calling me by my name asking if I'd like a refill or some more beans. I ordered take out so I can't speak on ambiance and service. Because of the reviews and street committee, I wanted to try the food. I got the ribs and beef brisket. The brisket was good, the ribs were o.k.. I.would have rated them 4 stars but I agree with some of the other reviews, they are charging too much for what is given. This is the place if you want to get fed. I usually get the chicken and add on sausage because both are so delicious. The bbq sauce is perfect- I like the spicy, but there are others there too if you want more sweet. Most importantly the owners are so nice. Omg!!!! Bbq done right! The food was amazing. As soon as we walked in, we e we're greet by the wonderful staff. Super friendly. It had a family feeling, as if you were about to have a meal with family. The smiles were definitely welcomed, but the food is definitely the superstar. The meats are were perfectly smoky and flavorful. The side dishes were taste too. Although the corn bread was a bit on the dry side, it still didn't cause my opinion to change in how amazing the meats were. The brisket was perfectly tender and smoky. The sausage was great and the ribs, my mouth waters as I think of how good they were. There's good places to eat and then there is Uncle Tony's! I only wish we live closer as their bbq ribs are probably the best I've had at a restaurant. A part of me wants to keep quiet about it, so the place doesn't become overrun with people, but they definitely deserve to get as many customers as possible. My first time in Florida absolutely did not disappoint . My girlfriend and I had a very long layover in MCO and I, smartly enough, looked for places to go to outside of the airport. I found a variety of great places, a lot of gems I'm sure of. But the place that caught my eye was Uncle Tonys Backyard Bbq . I don't know what it was but something told me "you need to come here" so that is exactly what we did. We caught a Lyft right on over and as soon as I opened the door we were treated with the utmost southern hospitality. The lady who was standing at the cash register was the best and my guy back there making the food? He's the real deal. It felt like home. The music was going, she was playing hits, they also serve alcohol and yes I did indulge. They have a varying bbq sauces from Arkansas that blew my dag on mind y'all . The tangy and the mustard bbq were my personal favorites. I need to buy those sauces in a bottle, absolutely legendary. We got the sampler platter and with St Louis style ribs, sliced brisket, garlic bread, tater tots, and Mac and cheese. Everything and I mean everything we got was out of this world. It was one of the best plates of any food I've ever had . In love with this place and I'll be back real soon. If y'all are ever in Orlando please come here. I always wanted to visit this place and try their BBQs. We went in the afternoon on Friday, and there were a couple of people coming and going to pick up their food. My husband had Ribs and Brisket, which he loved, and I have pulled pork and chicken, and I love it moderately smokey and super tender. Food came in a reasonable portion. We asked the lady to put it in the to-go box because we knew we were not going to finish our dish for sure. I highly recommend this place to anyone who comes down to Orlando. They started on a food truck and then opened the brick and mortar. Personally, the flavors weren't for me - which is why a 4 out of 5. I know a lot of people LOVE the flavors - so the 4 is based on the atmosphere, clean restaurant, friendly and caring service. It did seem like the food was good quality - pretty lean which I like. Let me start by saying I travel a lot and have been to many BBQ joints and, I lived in NC which has some of the best BBQ in the country. The owners are great and nice people. The place is super clean and the food is very good but here's the big downfall, low value, because the portions to price are out of synch, $18 for a platter that had a small amount of meat, 2 small sides, and a very small piece of corn bread. I think the place is fairly new but I don't see how they can compete with other BBQ places in the area. It's not all about portion but it is about value thus the 3 star review. read more
