Worked a late healthcare shift yesterday & ordered a medium cheese pizza & walked next store to get a juice and returned with my juice, paid 13 and change and left Uncles. Got home, opened the pizza & took 2 bites. Thin crust is fine but barely sauce & hardly cheese with alot of crunch was disappointing. For anyone who has ever made pancakes, the cheese looked like the pancake with a bunch of small holes where the cheese was supposed to be. Since I bit piece of 1 slice, I threw it right into garbage. Ordered rice king after putting remainder of pizza in ziploc bag. Returned to Uncles today and asked to see the next pizza that came out. When owner asked why, I explained the hard, burnt, crispy, sauceless non cheese pizza experience. He stated it was too early he wasn't making any pies yet@12 noon. He said I made the pizza the same way all the time, so I dont know what you're referring to. Then he proceeded to open the oven & pull out 1 pizza, the pie it was to early to make. I said, "Now that looks like a healthier version of a pizza. He stated that the reason this looked better & had more cheese is because he sells each slice for 4.00. Then said you spent almost 14.00 so you get what you pay for and if you dont like pizza, dont come back. I ignored his snarkyness & walked out. Clearly a lack of professionalism. I Returned about 2 pm with the 7 of 8 slices cold in a ziploc bag & requested my money back since I ordered other food to replace this pizza. He said your missing 1 slice to which I said I bit twice & threw in garbage. He said to bad, I got what I paid for and with slice gone no refund. I asked again so you are the owner & he smirked & said yes and I got nothing for you. I told him that he was the first owner of a food establishment in Norwalk that I'd met that had a serious lack of a customer service orientated attitude. He said he didnt care and he can't help me. I said what bullshit & he stuck up his middle finger as he glanced with a smirk to his two coworkers as I left. He looks to be maybe 30 with a Dora the Explorer haircut, 6 feet, glasses and some dough hanging around his waste area. Sir, you catch more flies with honey. Good restaurant owners may offer to split or discount the bill or better yet offer another pizza to give the customer the satisfying experience they were seeking. The only conclusion that I came up with was he really needed my 14.00 & its not hard to taste why. . You Sir, are a disgrace as a human being. You were rude, disrespectful & i encourage potential customers to think twice about going here if you value your money or respect. Sauceless, overcooked,cheeseless with a side of attitude, clearly customer service here isn't a priority. You know what is? Spending my money where my children & I are greeted with warmth, a smile & great customer service. I'll stay with Famous & East Ave pizza. Uncles- U can't compete when you dont compare. Having been exploring pizza takeout in Norwalk the past few months, I can say that Uncle's has taken the position of supremacy for me, at least for pizza in delivery range of my home. Not only has the pizza been arriving hot and quickly, but it is actually quite delicious. I guess the first question is, what do you want from pizza? This is a standard NY style pizza, in our case with pepperoni. But what is most amazing, is that I have noticed that for the price of one pizza at other pizza restaurants (Leonardo's, Classica, etc), you get two pizzas at Uncle's. It's hotter, more delicious, and half the price. Therefore, it wins. Now, if I am using a worldwide best pizza-scale rather than a good-pizza-for-good -price-and-quick-hot-service-scale, then this would likely see a lower rating. But, it does the job I need it to do, and it does it well. It shall be my go-to pizza spot while I live here. read more

Ordered a couple large pizzas, thin crust through grubhub. Food was fresh and hot, made correctly with the requested thin crust, and delivered directly through the store. There was something really strange about the cheese. There was no melt or stretch. Seems like they might have switched to a cheaper quality mozzarella. For this reason, I wouldn't order again. Just didn't deliver on expected quality with that cheese unfortunately. Prices are reasonable though. read more

I love Uncle's Pizza. We've been customers for so long that they know my dad's order by heart. The crust is flaky, sauce is delicious and cheese fresh. I only get a so-so pie here once or twice a tear - maybe the regular guy is out sick?? Usually super fast delivery and the prices are reasonable. I've been all over to try pizza (Brooklyn, Manhattan, New Haven, Derby) and I've got to say, for a neighborhood pizza joint, I'll never say no to an Uncle's plain cheese pizza. In fact, I'd even happily eat just the crusts, which are amazing! I am very disappointed with uncles pizza. I always order from them for my kids and this time my son wanted to order chips with guacamole so they did not specify on the menu that the guacamole comes on top of the chips and by the time My Son wanted to eat it the guacamole is all brown and thrown on top of the chips. So I call to complain conform them why was the guacamole so brown and why were they thrown on the chips if it specifies chips for guacamole usually the guacamole comes on the side they said no this is how we do it and there's nothing they can do about it and I told him it was for a kid they said well it's not a big deal For kids that are picky eaters sometimes certain things are big deals so they should specify that the guacamole goes on top of the chips!! And I ordered a Carne Asada and the meat was so hard I can barely chew it. It was tough dry. I would never order this does this again. Uncle's Pizza is a hidden gem tucked away in the most unlikely of spots. I lived near this place for a year and it was so good that it became our go-to pizza joint. Their sauce is really yummy and I highly recommend their barbeque chicken pizza. I rarely eat meat and this, of all things, was one I would make an exception for. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out. I only give them 4 stars because I wish they had a bigger seating area. (They have a table or two indoors and great little tables outside when it gets nicer out.) Oh, and the staff is always really nice. Another plus! read more

Really fast and pretty bad. Extra costs for toppings that are barely on the pizza. The pizza was thin and soggy. Their mozzarella sticks are horrible. We were also not Given any Marinara sauce. We asked for mustard and we were given honey mustard. After realizing a few things were wrong I called the driver back and all he could say was "wasn't me call the store". Decided to give Uncle's Pizza a try on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I have yet to really find my "go to" place for pizza in Norwalk. No one felt like driving/going anywhere so we ordered delivery. The service is quick and the ability to order online is simple and convenient. We tried the BBQ chicken and the Cuarto Season's pizza. The pizza was so-so, not the best and not the worst. The BBQ chicken pizza was pretty good so I would recommend that. Cuarto Season's was meh (something tasted a bit off). Not sure where to begin. Overall, the pizza was merely only blah. I had a small with pepperoni, and my wife had a margherita. Our kids are usually pretty lenient when it comes to pizza. When they're hungry, just about anything is ok. They were disgusted. Quite frankly, so was I. A few reviewers, Olivia C being most recent, claims delivery was fast and food great. We waited an unusual amount of time and the food was horrible. In fact, the driver simply had no clue where we lived and admitted that due to their antiquated delivery system. I ordered pizza for delivery at 6:09 pm. I called at 7:04 and was told it was leaving in 2 minutes and would be at my house in 10-15 minutes (less then 2 miles away). When my bf called to find out if it was coming they said it's on the way (we live 2 mins away) 10 mins go by he calls again ohh the food is still there! I ordered Uncle's through GrubHub the Food is good there Delivery service tho they need to work on. I live on a Street where the Numbers are out of Order so my house can be Confusing to find. The driver called me and told me he was Lost I explained to the guy the Directions. And he kept repeating things and I tried explaining 10 Different ways. And still he could not understand me.
