I had high hopes considering the average rating for this place was decent but this was probably one of the worst pizzas I've had in CT. The price does not match the quality. The crust had a very off putting smell, the sauce had no flavor, and the toppings were sparse. We ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza. The sausage was decent but it looked like they used one piece of mushroom for the entire pizza. I get the economy is bad these days but come on. New to Norwalk area and was looking for a place to get pizza out. Very disappointed as it lacked any type of taste. Also there was very little sauce or cheese. The toppings which were at an additional cost were very scarce or not present at all. Crust was overally too thin for a regular pizza crust. Delicious! The meatball sub is amazing. It's a large sub that could be shared. We got the sweet potato fries too but got it delivered so they were kind of soggy by the time we were eating them which wasn't enjoyable but maybe they are more crispy when you order in. The buffalo chicken wrap was very good! It was creamy, not too spicy, good buffalo flavor and the addition of the mozzarella cheese was nice. The pizza is good! The lasagna pizza is one of our favorites. The crust is buttery which tastes great but it is quite chewy so sometimes I leave it behind. We do takeout not dine in so I can't speak about the service but I can say they get the order correct more often than not. It can be so disappointing when you order takeout but they don't give you the right order. read more

Visiting Norwalk, CT and arrived late therefore was looking for The Food CT is known for, looked for several best pizzeria. Classica Pizza was great. Good thin crust and fast take out service. It was not too far from the hotel. Ordered pizza, salad and couple of other items from their small plates menu. All food was well prepared and seasoned. My only reason for a rating of 4 was that they didn't include any napkins or plastic utensils for a take out order. read more

We ordered a pizza last night for delivery. It took over an hour and a half to be delivered. Ice cold when it arrived. The delivery guy literally tossed it onto the front porch and ran back to his car. When we called Classica their only response was "Yeah, it's on it's way" This is the first horrible experience with them, but the lack of customer service we experienced was horrible. the owners reached out to us and made it right by giving us a fresh piping hot pizza. read more

Excellent pizza with a good balance of sauce and cheese. The star however is the fresh dough. My pepperoni slice had a nice bite to it, and the cheese slice was not quite as spicy as I like. I would have preferred a crust with a little more body, but all in all, this is a worthy contender. Classica is around 20 minutes away from me and Slice of Stamford, 5 so for my regular pizzas, I'll go to Slice. Next time I'm in Norwalk, I'll visit Classica. Definitely worth a check in. read more

Classica Pizza makes some awesome pies! We tried the Vodka Pizza with mushrooms, peas, prosciutto, and a vodka cream sauce . All of which, had the right amount of proportions for each topping. The pizza wasn't too greasy and the crust was great. It's also worth noting that the gluten free crust was also delicious, something that can be hard to come by at pizza chains. read more

Classica was my go to pizza delivery option, ordering once per week. It was always so reliable. In the past 6 weeks I don't know what has happened the quality has gone way down. The past three pies I have gotten are nowhere near the quality they used to have. I don't know if they have a new chef, or changed out for lower quality cheese but it's below average now. Wow. On a whim (without checking yelp) we ordered a pizza to our job site. Just fir (Xmas pun) fun we chose the name we liked the most. After a very pleasant phone ordering experience the pizza arrived on time and hot!!!! Nom nom nom nom nom. Wow. One of the top 10 best pizzas I've ever eaten in my life. Tickle me impressed. When in Norwalk this will be our only choice from now on. Perfectly crispy !!!!!! Ordered two more times and it was still very very good but slightly lacking from the original order. Sparse clean modern slightly industrial interior. Nice addition to the area as Greek style pizza is the dominant style here. I tried a few slices. My favorite was the crushed plum tomato w mozzarella & fresh basil. The flavors were just short of magic. My only (small) complaint is that the crust was soggy. I love crunch. I prefer char. That was missing. The mushroom, garlic & broccoli mozzarella red pie was not something I would normally order. However, it was delicious. The slices are huge! 3 1/2 stars for now. This place is awesome! We were in the area and came here on a Saturday at 3pm after checking out other Yelpers reviews, thanks To Yelp we were lead to the right place for an afternoon snack. The owners (I think) Philson (not sure about the spelling) and Mary were super friendly. We ordered a calm pie because I have been hankering for clam pizza all day- and it was right on point! Made fresh with bacon and clams -some lemons on the side.... so yum! We also tried their garlic knots and they were AMAZING! Continuing my hunt for the best pizza in Norwalk, we decided to try this place last night. It's really close to where we live and I've read some decent reviews on it. We decided to keep it simple this time and ordered a cheese pizza and garlic knots. First, I appreciate that they have their own website to order from. So many local pizza places here require you to download an app to order from. I have so many apps for each place we've tried. I don't want to have to remember which app to use to order food from which restaurant. This pizzeria takes their own orders! Woohoo for that! Secondly, their delivery speed was impressive! Most places around here take an hour to an hour and a half to deliver any kind of food. While this place is very close to us, the delivery estimate said 50 minutes (which is pretty good for a Friday night). I was shocked when the pizza arrived at my house within 30 minutes. Bonus, it was actually still warm! I gave the delivery driver an extra tip for being so fast and he looked confused. He made a comment about how close we are to their restaurant. I get it dude, but trust me, you haven't seen how long we've had to wait for pizza before! LOL Ok, now on to their pizza. Their cheese pizza was pretty good. It wasn't the most amazing cheese pizza I've ever had (in Norwalk or elsewhere) but it was good. My three daughters and I enjoyed it. We also ordered garlic knots. They were soft and warm but they didn't have much flavor. It seemed like all the butter and garlic was in the bottom of the pan. I dipped my bread and scooped some up and they were ok. I've been here at least 50 times and am writing a seasoned review, having tasted most of their single slices. Lunch time pizza is great. The guy who works the lunch shift makes some amazing thin slice, NY style pizza, in all sorts of flavors. The margherita is my perennial favorite and my standard for judging pizzerias, and this joint is pretty much on top of the list. The sauce is finger licking good! Other lunch slices are great- spinach ricotta, broccoli mushroom, Buffalo chicken, lobster ravioli slice, eggplant parmesan slices being some winners. Unfortunately dinner-time pizza was disappointing a couple times that I stopped by in the evening, presumably because the evening shift was filled by someone else. Pizza here is good, i really enjoy the new set up. This place looked like a real dump before these guys took it over. There is not alot of parking, but if you just want to pick up you will be fine. They have all different types of pizzas either whole pies or by the slice as well as salads, calzones, and pasta dishes. The people who work here are beyond friendly. I have never heard so many thank you and your welcomes before! I tried the steak salad as well as the comp slice of cheese pizza! Steak salad had very nice presentation and they cook the meat to however youd like. Good quality greens on the salad as well and they are not skimpy on the cheese! My dad had the meat ball parm which he enjoyed. They have full size meatballs here which is unfortunately becoming less common in this area. If you want some nice service and good Italian cuisine I would say give them a try. read more

This is our go to spot for pizza in Norwalk. My sons love their plain cheese pie and we have tried quite a few of their specialty pizzas as well. It's great that you can get a whole pizza or a few by the slice. Stand out pies to us are the chicken parmigiana and their White Italiano. They always have a variety of pies out to try different slices when you walk in. While there are ALOT of pizza places to try in Norwalk we haven't found one we like as much as here. The service was great! They open up at 4 but since we have a baby they let us in a little early. They were very attentive and got our drink orders. Unfortunately they don't have a kids menu but they offered to do a half order if the pasta. Another downside is that there was no changing table in the bathroom or a family bathroom where parents could change the baby. However the place was very clean so we had no choice but to change him on the floor. Hopefully they will add it soon as they have only been open 2 weeks. As per food, it was great. The pizza dough was thin yet had a nice mix of doughy crust with a crunchy outside. We had a margarita pizza and it was unique because it had no sauce but the flavor was spot on! We also made our own pizza with no sauce, prosciutto and mushrooms, crushed tomatoes and basil and everything was fresh. We will definitely be back! read more
