Burnt to Crisp Pizza Crust #1
    Timothy R.

I had ordered from here before a few times and didn't really have an issue until twice 2 weeks ago. I ordered through Seamless on a Saturday night. I opened the box and the entire pizza crust was burnt to a crisp and completely inedible. The only reason I even ordered from here is because I liked the thin crust style. Even many of the toppings were burnt as well so after a few bites I had to throw it away because it was inedible. I called JB's and spoke to a manager who told me to call Seamless to have the order reimbursed, which it was. I was told this was a one time thing and I said I would give them another chance. I decided to give them another chance the next night and got the same inedible burnt trash. I called again and asked for a manager again but was told none was in and they were not authorized to refund the pizza. I was told that the owner would call me the next day and 2 weeks later I have never received any call or message from them. I was also told again that this was a one time thing but it's hard to imagine getting 2 consecutive completely burnt crusts/pizzas that were nearly inedible and believe this is just a coincidence. Anyone with eyes and a bare minimum care about the quality of their food would have never served this. I would have been happier receiving a call that the order was delayed because they had to remake it rather than be served trash. And still no refund or call back regarding that 2nd burnt pizza...

This is easily the best pizza that I have found in the area. The Norwalk/Stamford area is obsessed with Colony pizza but this is the true hidden gem for amazing bar pizza. The owner is SUPER nice and cranks out the best thin crust around. The pizza is always crisp crust (I like mine well done), cheese to the very edge, and delicious flavor. The only negative I will say is that sometimes the toppings are a little light but I will not deduct a star because I think that is just bar pizza. Colony is way skimpier on toppings. Usually I just ask for double toppings. This is a must try if you enjoy a nice thin crust pizza. Prices are great too.

BBQ Chicken / Sausage & Pepper. Both delicious.

After years of ordering crummy pizza from a place down the street, finding JB's was a total game changer! We're big fans of Colony (Reko's in a bind) and JB's turns out and DELIVERS similarly thin and delicious pies - but with a bit more personality. The BBQ chicken pizza is amazing! We're very grateful to our friends for the recommendation. Can't speak for the rest of the menu just yet, but we're impressed so far. Definitely worth a try.

    Large Thin Crust Pizza

We were recommended to try JB's. We just got our pizza and are very disappointed. It not only has scant toppings compared to other pizza places. The large is also smaller than the competitors. And it does not taste very good. I rarely write reviews anymore but felt compelled to share this experience.

$7.81 for this. Expensive and you gets barely anything. Will not return. This is laughable.

Great pizza I like it more than colony but the prices are getting out of hand...almost $30 for 1 large and 1 small pie with 2 toppings.

Can we talk about what a life changing experience going to Crust Issues has been?…read more I mean, yes, y'all are right, your parking is utter shizz. But the food?! My God. We had the most amazing dishes. The garlic knots are somehow both crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside with the most amazing garlic butter. The mozzarella sticks covered in the marinated peppers are amazing. I am going to dream about the salad INSIDE the pizza. The pastina was perfection. The wings were crispy and the sauce was heavenly. And the pizza was almost like a focaccia with all the flavor and creative toppings only evil geniuses can provide. The restaurant was clean and had great atmosphere; well decorated and cozy. The staff was friendly and fun. You are clearly an enclave of sarcastic wizards who use your powers for culinary evil of the best variety. We drove an hour to get there and I will be back. But I might park in a real parking lot and take an Uber.

There is something wrong with this place. I actually have enjoyed their pizza in the past, and…read moregiven them a great review, but the last two times I was there with my husband, one of the employees demanded my husband's phone number when he and I, and then he, walked in and ordered a take-out pizza. The first time my husband asked if it was so they would text us when the pizza was ready and the guy said give us the number or we will cancel the order." The first night, they did not cancel the order, and we asked other people in line if they were asked for their phone number, and they said, "no" and looked rather confused. Tonight, he went alone, and again, they demanded his phone number, and because he declined, they canceled his order. They also threatened to call the cops if he did not give them his phone number, even though his card went through. The thing is, my husband doesn't even HAVE a phone, and we use mine, but I was using it when he went to pick up the pizza. I called and asked and they asked me if I was calling about the "guy who was just here" and I said "not in particular" and was told "neither of you are welcome here anymore, do not come here anymore." (Though technically, they have our phone number since I called them... so that's an irony.) WHY do they need a phone number for a walk-in, take-out order that is paid for, when people are already tired of being added to text and auto-bot call lists as it is, and why would we be told we cannot go to said pizza place because we do not want to give them a phone number? I mean, it's only Connecticut, so good pizza is really incredibly difficultly hard to come by, right? We are so, so sad. (I lie) P.S. The specific employee who asks for phone numbers, if you watch WWE, kind of resembles Seth Rollins, for what it's worth.

My mom had insisted on going here on Mother's Day. Fortunately, their Connecticut location was open and we went. Bianca, I believe as a manager and was super accommodating with my mom's 100 questions haha. We started with one of the salads and the brussels sprouts. Both were great, but the brussels sprouts stood out to me. As for the pizza, we got the Margherita, Rustic, & Bayside. All of them were great, but the Bayside had to be my favorite. The pistachio pesto and goat cheese went very well together. The Rustic was a close runner up- mushrooms and truffle oil are always a match made in heaven. The Margherita was a classic but with the style of super thin, almost cracker-thin pizza I preferred the other two more. All in all, my family and I would definitely make it out to Norwalk again just for this place (& we live in Long Island). Thanks Bianca for making my Mom's day!
