What a great spot!! It's bigger than I expected and tons of outdoor seating as well for nice days! I went there for lunch and I had the JJ which is basically like a meat lovers pizza and it was really good. A little pricey but worth it. Stopped in with a larger group for an early Saturday night dinner. Cool new place in the East Norwalk area. Lots of different indoor and outdoor seating options and family friendly! We had some specialty cocktails which were good and nicely presented. Service was prompt and friendly. Had a variety of pizzas for the table. The favorite was the potato pie and the cheese one. My kids gave the cheese pizza two thumbs up- they are picky so that was a plus! Clam pie had more garlic than clams so that was a miss. The Diavola was alittle too oily for our liking. Pork belly appetizer and avocado salad were great! I would say this is a slightly upscale pizza place in Norwalk which has a cool vibe and one you can bring the whole family too. As the weather gets nicer, I could see it being a place people will want to go given its vicinity to the water. The East Norwalk area is really get some new cool places to visit! What a great addition in East Norwalk. This is a cool restaurant right in the middle of the newly built apartment complexes and obviously draws a decent crowd from the buildings. The vibe is very cool as they have outdoor seatings as well and in summer they have bands playing music and bring out large screens for folks to watch games. The train station is also directly across, so for commuters it is also a great place to grab food. Their pizza's are awesome, my favorite being the Quattro Formaggio which is Pizza with four different kinds of cheese. Have brought several guests to the place and all have given good compliments, both on the restaurant and the food. It is kind of hidden as it is not very visible from the main road and you have to curve around to find it. I have not had trouble finding parking so far either. Keep the cool vibes going! read more

The hostess is too busy being queen bee with the staff to actually tend to the guests walking into the restaurant. Followed by a nod and a point "yes, that's the one" Hey Chris, appreciate the reply. No, I didn't have a reservation -- just a hopeful walk-in trying to get some pizza. I did get seated, though it felt more like I was interrupting a staff meeting than being welcomed in. As for the garlic bread... nope, no peace offering came my way. I'm sure the Lil Guy is a labor of love, and I respect that it's made with top-shelf ingredients and not mass-produced. But when you name a pizza "Lil Guy" and then charge XL prices, expectations get... complicated. It was tasty, just a bit of a letdown in the "value for money" department. The service was lacking but the food was great. We got the cherry bomb the dough alone is exceptional. However, it wasn't that busy but our pizza came out before our drinks. Hidden Gem- it's tucked away outside of an apartment complex in East Norwalk with live music and a projector screen for movies and trivia. Service was terrible. We asked for water the first time our waiter came to the table, and he said of course. He didn't bring it with our drink order. A different server brought our appetizers so we didn't ask them for water thinking our waiter might be bringing it. Same when our dinners came, which was immediately after the appetizers were served (should have been spaced out). Our waiter hadn't checked on us since he brought our drink orders so I had to go up to the bar and ask for water to be brought to our table. 10 minutes went by and still no water. So I got up and asked the first server I saw if they could bring water. He was nice enough to bring it quickly. So we got our water about 45 minutes after we were seated. After finishing our dinner we waited at least another 20 minutes, still not being checked on by our waiter. Then I saw him behind the bar talking to the bartender and I went up and said "excuse me" to get his attention and asked him to bring the check. It's too bad because the atmosphere was so nice and there was live music. But it was hard to enjoy with such poor service. The food was good so I'm willing to go back and try again. read more

Me and my husband absolutely love this place! Honestly, I think I love it more than he does . For me, it was love at first bite. We've been here 4 times and every time it's amazing! I usually get the Magic 5 pie and it's so good and my husband usually gets the little guy. I think I tried another pizza or two but I need to do more exploring of their menu. We live in the Bronx so it's not exactly around the corner for us. But it is also worth the trip. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone who just loves a great pizza pie. The untopped crust was the best part. Dough was awesome! Sauce was great. The amount of sauce and toppings was way off. We had a few pies, the namesake magic 5 was soup in the middle. Pick up a slice and it soggily dropped from the crust down, it was mush. MUSH. The white goat cheese pizza was almost there. The buratta, arugula, and prosciutto sat beautifully on top but when you picked up a slice all toppings ended up in a pile on the tray. There was nothing on the arugula, cheese, or prosciutto that made them cohesive. They were just in an unconnected pile till you moved them. The service wasn't great. Kinda mean, actually. Went to this place for dinner on a Wednesday and it was surprisingly pretty Poppin. There was no way in my party. Also had a reservation. The owner is super super nice and the staff is also very friendly. The staff also accidentally gave us garlic bread and didn't end up charging us at the end of the night so it was very sweet. Inside is so fun. They have it all set up for Christmas. The lights are green and red and they also have all these fun Christmas decorations. The pizzas are so good. I ended up getting the little guy. My friends ended up getting the little girl and the hot and crunchy. Then my one friend ended up making his own pizza. We picked up three pizzas from Magic 5 Pie and headed to the beach. The pizzas were exceptional! The meat eaters had the Lil Guy. They loved the hot oil and truffle honey. The combination was great. I opted for a vegetarian version of the Pastor which was absolutely wonderful. Rather than use large slices of pineapple, Magic 5 uses some diced pineapple. The flavor melded very well with the onions, arbol sauce, and cilantro. I look forward to getting this pizza again! Finally, we got the Quattro Formaggio which was also absolutely delicious. Since we did take-out, I can't comment much on the service. I can say that we were attended to right away and the staff was friendly. The overall atmosphere and ambiance of Magic 5 was also inviting. We ordered a few pies to try it out Saturday evening and it was pretty good; the Native Son (burrata, prosciutto, truffle ricotta, and arugula) and Pastor (tomato sauce, crumbled seasoned pork, grilled pineapple, caramelized onions, arbor sauce, fresh cilantro). They're individual pies with flavor. Could've used more prosciutto but there's still a few opening kinks so I'll give it a pass. Location is super convenient for parking being right next to the East Norwalk station, and interior looks really nice. When it gets warmer I can see a great outdoor dining area for sure! read more

The salads are all amazing: fresh and sizable, nutritious and delicious. The pizzas are also really really good, both with regular crusts and gluten free crusts. It makes you think the restaurant will be bigger than it actually is, but I wouldn't call it "small". The vibes are pretty good, and I didn't have to wait too long for my food despite how busy it was. I got The Los pie, which is tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, hot capicola, cherry peppers, mushrooms, evoo. I like the tomato sauce and the crust, but I think the pie could've been baked a little longer because the slice would flop under the weight of the toppings. Still a good pizza: 7.75/10 read more
