The food was great here. I got a BLAT sandwich with fries. They cook the tomatoes and surprisingly it added a sweet flavor. It was simple twist on a classic BLT sandwich. I enjoyed it. The omelet was great as well. I would recommend either. The salmon mousse was a welcoming starter on the house and it was delicious. I would come back just for that. The breakfast here was amazing. it was lit the best we have ever had. The crab eggs benedict is out of this world. We also had the Maria Lucia with the sourdough bread which was just as amazing. so much flavor in both and the presentation looked phenomenal. Our waitress Audrey was so amazing. Food was amazing - I can't recommend the beet salad enough!!! Definitely worth coming for brunch, and the outside seating was perfect. Service was fantastic, super friendly staff. One of the worst restaurant experiences we have had in a long time. From rude hostess (completely ignored us to confer at length with fellow employee and then nastily told a prospective single diner there was no room for her even at bar). Our exceedingly simple breakfast order - poached egg and sausage, omelette took an hour to be served. Be forewarned that you will also have to ask for a spoon and that no sweetener is available, a real issue if you are diabetic. We love Uncommon Grounds, go frequently and have always had great service. MALU is currently a complete miss. read more

Went here due the the wonderful images of their food and ended up horribly disappointed. While the food tasted amazing, it took 30 minutes for us to receive it, and when it came to our table it was ice cold, not only this but two of our plates had what appeared to be white chest hair. One in a breakfast burrito and another on the side of my plate. Won't ever come back. read more

Stopped at this new brunch spot in Saugatuck for a quick bite before leaving town. We got two breakfast burritos which were great, but took a really long time to come plus a couple coffees for my partner and I. The food was great, burritos were stuffed with hash browns and a great side of salsa; we would love to try other things on the menu. We had our dog with us, so we were disappointed there was no outside seating when we went (I believe they added tables outside now!). I didn't really love the setup inside, there's bar service but all the tables were lined against the windows, you're directed straight to the POS station inside to order. THE worst restaurant I have been to. We came for brunch at 1030 and they said there was an hour wait. No problem. We walked around downtown and circled back in an hour. We were seated and placed our drink orders - just coffees - which felt like it took a while, Fine, whatever. Coffees were served, and we placed our brunch orders. I kid you not our food didn't come until 130. We should have left 30 minutes after waiting, but the outright lies the staff were saying were unbelievable. First, they kept saying it will be out soon, couple more minutes. An hour after, they said oh one of our cooks is in the hospital, have some tiny muffins and the food will be out soon, we will take 15% off. Ok fine, we had little kids who were so hungry and the muffins didn't do much at all. Then 30 minutes later they tell us there are no chicken tenders - umm we ordered that 90 minutes ago, how do you not know this? Kids ordered the chicken tenders and they are now miserable. My sister let him have it and soon after at promptly 130 our food came out. And it was absolutely disgusting. Eggs were raw inside and burnt on the outside. Orders were wrong and kids ate steak sandwiches that tasted like rubber. They comped the meal obviously, but my god never go there! Worst service and absolute liars! If I could give it zero I would but yelp wont let me. read more
