Such a great find!!! The place has a really cool vibe- kind of Seattle-ish but also so cute. The two people working were both so nice and friendly. My husband and I both got a Blue Colada energy booster. They were the perfect amount of sweet (I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I do like a little) and had such a nice berry flavor. They were the perfect pick-me-up to start a day chasing our kids around! I also got a Charleston (avocado toast) and added bacon on top. For such a simple meal, it was really flavorful. The avocado spread really held its own, not lost in the other ingredients or overwhelmingly salty. The bacon was perfectly crispy on top. Cool vibe but the pastries were stale/hard. The coffee tasted a little burnt. For $12 I would've expected more. They also added cold foam on top of my drink which I didn't ask for and they didn't even mention at the POS. So I hope they weren't surprise charging more for it. I also overheard another customer asking for mayo saying that their breakfast item was dry and one of the employees said they could have a little bit of mayo but they would have to charge her an extra 80¢ which seems a little ridiculous if you serve food you should be able to give someone a little bit of mayo or ketchup for free. read more

Getting to Undergrounds Cafe is an adventure. It's located in an office building so it can be hard to find. The aroma helped me find it. It's in the basement. There's coffee and pastries, some of which are vegan. Coffee is good but the pastries are even better. It has a large variety of fresh made things like cakes, cinnamon rolls, and scones. They even have a few that are vegan. If you check in you get a free coffee. This goes good with any pastry. I like to get the vegan cinnamon roll or the raspberry scone, both of which are made without animal products at all. It's about $3 for a pastry. The vegan ones taste like the real thing. It's in an office building. One bad thing is trying to find a bathroom anywhere inside. There's one upstairs. read more

I think we had way higher hopes from reading the reviews. There wasn't a big bakery selection when we went.. or nothing that really stuck out at us. I wanted a scone but they didn't have a glaze on them and they looked really dry so we opted for the croissant. The croissant was good. Stopped in today with a party of 8. They knew we were coming as we called in a special order prior to arrival. Their menu was primarily breakfast oriented. We had read they had salads but they were nowhere in sight. Service was extremely slow. Orders came out in dribs and drabs, not all at once. The cheese on the grilled cheese sandwich was not melted, the soups were all Luke warm at best, and the muffins seemed to be previously frozen and were definantly stone cold in the center. It's got great ratings but our experience was nothing like the the reviews led us to expect. read more

Love this place but today disappointing. First : worker could not calculate correct change- apparently more comfortable with electronic transactions. So I took a $5.00 hit bc of confusion. Ok . Cute and friendly but my peppermint mocha tasted like a package of hot chocolate I could have made myself. Disappointing for 6$

Stopped in for a hot drink and decided to order a dirty chai latte. We weren't able to drink it because it was too hot. When we tried it it seemed very bitter so I went back and asked if I could have a replacement, they were very happy to give me a different drink free of charge. Great customer service, however, the second drink is still better. read more

Undergrounds is my favorite coffee spot. The service is always friendly and fast and they'll make pretty much anything. I loved the Chewbacca from Star Wars Day and they still make it for me months later. My favorite coffee place in wooster! Coffee is super affordable and not overpriced like other places nearby. I can get a large latte with flavor for $4.85, where other places it would be $5.50 or more. I also love the variety of baked goodies, which are always super good and have interesting, not basic flavors. Such a cute coffee shop in Wooster! They carry many different flavor options for coffee, lots of vegan pastry items (yay!), 2 nondairy milks for coffee (double yay!), and the owner is just a peach!
