I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with a vendor they assigned me to and immediately after that checked out their reputation. The reviews were horrid. They offered me another company, and their review were also horrid. I was ready to cancel my contract but called one more time to see what other company they could give me, and it was Max Cool of Apollo Beach. I looked for their reviews, and they were very positive, so I decided to give them a try. I called them to discuss the repair, and I spoke to two wonderful Ladies by the names of Janette and Anna who was just so helpful in scheduling and overall professional in her job. Janette scheduled Jeremy who was a great tech who checked my AC unit thoroughly and found a leak in my AC Coil that caused all my freon to escape that was 17 pounds. Freon is very expensive and my AHS Gold plan did not cover the freon that cost me $1,199 dollars out of my pocket to recharge my unit after a new coil was to be installed. IMPORTANT note to anyone reading this review is if you would have had the AHS deluxe plan the freon was included in their repair. So, let's look at the overall cost to me if I did not have AHS. I saved not to have to pay for the new coil and the installation of that coil. This could have run into a few thousand alone. In general AHS looks to save money when they can with a claim and found my coil was still under warranty. So, I think they took advantage of this in my case, and they saved money not having to pay for the coil but did not offer to pay for the freon with their savings of no coil purchase. Well Max cool sent out another great technician to install my new coil and recharge my system. All I can say about Rodney is another 5 stars for technical experience and doing just a sensational job with the major repair. Everything is working very good since the repair two days ago. I truly feel this AC company is one of the best out there and deserve to be on the list of great and fair service companies.

Seven years ago, we got the top-of-the-line train AC units for our home. We signed maintenance…read moreagreements and I've had it for the whole time and cancel last year because of their inability to come out and service the units on time. Well, they kept delaying it and the AC unit in the main Rooms stop working because of water back up in the condensation tube. They could not come out right away, so I called another service to do so they came out that night. A month or so later I hired that same company to do the routine maintenance and they found that there was a leak in the evaporator coil. Since I bought the unit from Pinnelas, I agreed to have them come out and repair the unit. They sent a young man and an older gentleman, and the young man who was new did the work while the older gentleman stayed down in the garage and yelled up to him on what to do. The price was over $2700. But when they did not show up on the Saturday that they were supposed to they came the following Monday and offered a 10% discount on the work. The next day my wife was getting ready to leave to go to the airport and looked up in the ceiling, and there was a large wet spot. Turns out their new recruit did not connect something properly and water leaked all over the floor of the attic and then ultimately put a large spot in our kitchen . They did come out that day and acknowledge that it was their problem and they took pictures and said they would contact us to have a contractor come and paint the ceiling when dry. They were supposed to call us last Friday to have a contractor come out. I never did. They didn't call Monday and I called them and ask them what the problem was. They did not call Tuesday and finally on Wednesday a customer service rep called and said they would have to get approval to do so. my wife explained to them that Christian already approved it and only then did she acknowledged that OK we have a painter. Come out and appraise the job. First I would like to say that the train units that I purchased have continuously let us down. Every time Pinnelas comes out they find something else wrong. We've spent thousands of dollars on top of the warranty to have various things done including surge protectors, which cost well over $1000. I would suggest shopping around if you are looking for a quality air conditioner replacement. The company that came out in their place was called apostle I understand there may be staffing issues and the company bought out the original company and I really don't know who's in charge there anymore. I would definitely shop around if you were looking for a replacement AC unit or maintenance.

I had 2 new units installed. One unit died 1 month after install. Instead of replacing it they took random used pieces and parts to get it running. ever since the thing sounds like a jet engine. Imagine buying a new car, it dies after a month and the dealer says call the manufacturer. Ridiculous! The other unit they forgot to put an overflow switch on and the thing destroyed my ceiling with overflow water. I'm still awaiting a repair. And that's after dozens and dozens of calls and the whole time them acknowledging its their fault. These units have had too many issues to list.
