It is owned by a fifth generation Tombstone native. The coffee was excellent, and the owner explained the process of how it is made and it was my wife's favorite coffee stop of the trip. However, what made it really special was the owner. Since it was early, he joined us on the porch and answered questions about the history of Tombstone and it's transition to a tourist attraction. He was joined by a woman who he grew up with who now lives in New Orleans. Between the two of them, we learned more about the "real" Tombstone than we otherwise could. It was one of those travel magic moments. Interestingly, I've now read other Yelp reviews of Cowboy Coffee and I discovered how many people have been impressed with the family that owns this place. They do not seem to have a website, but you can find them on FaceBook. I do recommend sitting on their welcoming porch and enjoy the non-tourist side of town. Well done, Cowboy Coffee!
