We stopped here during Monsoon chasing. Having only been to the Sierra Vista location, this was a completely different experience and that's not a bad thing. This space is much smaller with a food truck instead of kitchen and that's all good things. Felt a little bit like an outsider here, but not uncomfortably so. They had live music going on the patio. Great beer selection and the bartender was very friendly. If you have a designated driver looking for a pop, check the food truck. Great beer selection, down home vibe. read more

I have not yet been to the Phx. location of Tombstone Brewing, but I have been a regular patron of the Sierra Vista location and Tombstone location. These establishments are very different, but I love both of them. The location on Toughnut in Tombstone is . . . rustic, no frills, and has lots of local 'regulars'. The beer selection is good, the patio is dog-friendly, the food is good, and I love the live music on Saturday afternoons. The Sierra Vista location is upscale, with a fancy setting and a fancy menu. The staff is wonderful and the burgers are great! I miss these 'local' places, but I moved to Phx., so now I have to find new places . . . . read more

The indoor bar and room area can accommodate around twenty sitting guests. The bartender was very friendly and the atmosphere very chill and relaxing. I had a great raspberry sour, which I did not expect in a small town brewery in Tombstone. The price ($5) was great and so was the service. The atmosphere is a little different than breweries in the big cities but the vibe really fits Tombstone. Off the tourist track but could use just a little bit more parking. Best brewery in town! I had the Double Rye'd IPA, and it was great. The brewery is clean, with lots of beautiful wood, metal art and a pet friendly sign that is even cat-inclusive. The girl working behind the "bar" was completely rude and treated us like we were a bother. We just drank our beer and left. We had intended to stay and try a few different ones but she killed the vibe for us. This place was the only negative experience we had in Tombstone. Very unfortunate. read more

I did four tasters (a flight) and none of them were that great for me. I didn't try the double or triple IPA's or the sour. People were very nice and had a fridge full of cans ready to go. It's great that the location is a couple blocks from the heart of town. read more

We stopped into Tombstone Brewery to grab a couple slurps after playing in Tombstone. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is quite warm due not having AC. There were a couple fans going during our visit which didn't really help much. Flies were lazily buzzing around as well. Orders are placed and paid for at the counter. Food is not offered; however, simple bagged snacks can be purchased. Tombstone Brewery swag as well as their beer can be purchased to enjoy at a later date. Covered outdoor seating is also available. During our visit, a band was performing in the outdoor seating area. Service was friendly although non-existent. The beer was my least favorite of the local AZ craft beers that I tried during our vacation. read more

We were on our way to Bisbee, and stopped here to wait out a rain storm. We both had a dry hopped Pilsner and it was top notch. The server was very friendly and the outdoor patio was amazing. Beer....we only had one but it was very good. The service was good here but she seemed a bit impersonal for a bar tender. No conversation -just pleasantly businesslike. We walked through the patio area where a live musician entertained a dozen or two people. They seemed festive out there! We should've sat outside. This is my jam. I like Tombstone Brewing Company, and encourage all those in the area to have a pint or two of this fantastic beer from Tombstone Brewing Company. So glad we found this brewery while visiting! Before leaving Tombstone we wanted to check out this local brewery and we ended up having a nice time here. The craft beers are what to come here for, but you'll end up staying for the experience. I think what was especially nice about Tombstone Brewery was that it was off the touristy path, so many of the patrons here were locals who knew the staff and performer that night. You order at the bar inside and can take a seat inside or outside on the patio, which was where we ended up at and was where they had a singer perform classic country and folk songs. Plus, I loved that the place was dog-friendly! For boozing, we had the double hop IPA and the coffee milk imperial stout, which were both very, very good. I learned that they get a lot of their hops from Oregon, so no wonder the IPA was spot on. Yet, the stout was a crowd favorite and I could easily see why. It had wonderful flavor from the coffee, but was rich and velvet-y, which is how stout should be. I highly recommend trying the brews here! We had a fun time, with its craft brews, fun and chill atmosphere and friendly staff and locals. read more

I've had Tombstone Brewing beers here in the Valley in the past. It was nice to finally be able to check out their brewing location in the town too tough to die. First of all, I like that they are a couple blocks away from the touristy areas. Second, I love the chill vibe here. This particular location opened in 2016 and there is another one in Phoenix at the old Helio Basin Brewing location. Tombstone Brewing has a nice selections of beers on tap. I tried the Little Baby Wyatt IPA and enjoyed the great hospitality and service while I was here. There is a large shaded patio area outside for seating or you can sit inside at the bar. read more

Story time! Came here for the Red Dead Redemption event for July 2023. Been driving for ages since early morning. Pulled in here and locked my keys in my car! walked in and they were amazing to let me know that the Marshall can help me out. After that event was said and done, plopped down for a cold one. Visiting aggressively old-timey Tombstone (a delightful tourist trap if there ever was one) conjures up visions of saloons staffed with bartenders spitting in glasses to clean them and serving up sarsaparilla (??) to thirsty outlaws. TBC is not like that at all! Well, they do have a Doc Holliday themed sarsaparilla which I'm to understand is like root beer? Anyway, just a block away from the historic courthouse is this modern taproom - right now you can't sit inside, but there's a large patio with shade covers and a few tables out front. Everything is super clean too! I really liked that TBC does a variety of beers - usually it's a ton of IPAs but they had proper Kolsch service and a Pilsner that the mister really liked. If you aren't a beer person they have pretty limited choices - a cider and one or two sodas. It is a taproom though and you're here for the beer. This is a great retreat when you want a break from all the fake gunfights on the main drag. read more

Oh, I've been wanting to try this brewery for a while! So very glad that the chance came where I was able to do try out a couple of their beers! Steve and I had two different beers but both were IPA'S. Despite that similarity as it should be both IPA'S tasted different from one each other. More Hops was one of the IPA'S that we had. This was a good IPA because in my mind I like my beers to taste unique to make it memorable. This one did a good job with it's pineapple and tropical fruit flavors this beer had a nice complexity to it and the dryness and dankness made it even more appealing. The other beer was the Oregon Lots Double IPA. Extra bonus points for having the can art to look like the old Oregon Trail game that I used to play in high school. This Double IPA was good and dank too with peach and citrus flavor highlights this was another enjoyable IPA as well and was a nice beer to have as the summer turned up a notch or two on the heat when we were sharing a pint of these fine beers! read more

As transplants from the Pacific NW, my wife and I have been on a quest to find an IPA that rivals the incredible hoppy juice bombs of Washington and Oregon. After years of searching, we hit the mother lode at Tombstone Brewing. Their IPAs are ALL juicy hop explosions that not only rival the NW style IPAs but in our humble opinions, they exceed! Dank Fruit Double IPA at 8.1%, Double IPA at 8.3%, All the Hops Double IPA at 8.5% and our newest fave, Spawn of Earp Double IPA at 8.3% are each in their own right mind-blowing. Served up by the Angel of Hops Ashley and Mr. Hop Head Ben, their friendly service and relaxed tasting room is as good as their beer. Pizza are available for delivery to the tasting room and there are great seating options inside and out. Does't get any better than Tombstone Brewing. read more

My family joined us in Tombstone, so naturally, my husband and I went in search of a brewery. Har, har. But, true. We walked from our disappointing lunch spot to Tombstone Brewing - parting ways with my family as we went. The brewery was packed inside, with no available tables or even seats at the bar. They do have an outdoor patio, which was mostly wide open (it was a bit cold that day). We each ordered a pint - I went with the Chasing the Dragon IPA. I liked that the bitterness didn't overwhelm the palate. It did linger a bit, but it wasn't too crazy. The IPA also had a bit of juiciness to it - nothing like a hazy IPA, but it was a nice balance. It wasn't a stellar beer, but it wasn't terrible, either. My husband ordered the Saison, and enjoyed dry, cider-like finish to it. The outdoor patio was comfortable, once we positioned ourselves to get a bit of warmth from the sun. We enjoyed our pints and the sunshine, and each other's company for a bit before my family started making their way over to the brewery. While we did enjoy our drinks, the menu was a bit laden down with IPAs and DIPAs. I think we'd go back to try their other brews, the next time we're in town. read more
